Very similar experience to many other customers on here.
Advertised as £39 and when he arrived he charged me £98 and that was before the door was fixed. Had to come two days later with new strip and charged nearly £300 so that’s nearly £400 out of pocket.
Be wary of this company.

Like many others on here I should have checked reviews before booking them. BUYER BEWARE!

Told £49 now £180 out of pocket. Terrible immoral company. Use check-a-trade and avoid scams like these guys. Wish zero stars was an option.

Absolutely awful!! Unfortunately I didn’t see the reviews until after. When you’re locked out, you don’t really have the luxury of finding reviews. Absolutely horrific experience- on phone was told 20min and £49 for everything. Man arrived an hour late and £124 later... absolutely disgusting! Please avoid them at all costs!

TOTALLY DISHONEST COMPANY
I had a problem with my front door lock not working properly. Found Locks-Unlock on the internet advertising with a £39 callout
Was advised over the phone that it would cost callout charge, if new lock was required cost would be from £25 Upwards depending on the lock. Fitting to be included in callout charge.
He arrived tried to remove lock with a large impact screw driver, damaged screw and had to drill it out.
Fitted new lock barrel without telling me the cost and told me the total cost was £174
I asked him to justify, he said it was £49 Callout, plus £125 for the lock.
He had finished within 15 minutes of arrival.
I researched the lock cost afterwards and found them easily available at DIY shops for less than £20.

I will report them to trading standards

Would give zero stars if possible. Came out, drilled a hole in the door without checking first, pulled the handle off the door, charged 50quid and left it like that. Absolute crooks. AVOID!!!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! Do not trust the reviews on this company’s website. We were quoted £49 initially and somehow our bill escalated to £387. Do not use under any circumstances!!

Awful experience. My son has just been charged £386 for a half hour visit. He was told £49 to come round, then £179 for a new anti pick lock which he agreed to but the bill then came to £386! as apparently he was also being charged £49 for the labour and £109 to drill the old lock out - the only new item was the new lock (which we aren't convinced he needed anyway) DO NOT TRUST THE STAR REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE

This company are dishonest, thieves and should not be trading. They quoted me £220 for a job but at the end charged me £1009!!!!!!!!! how can you charge someone £1009 for 4 new internal door locks? Absolutely disgusting.

Most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. Got them to change lock and they charged us £238. 5 Weeks later locks stop working. Have rand and asked them to come back out and they have blocked all our numbers. Avoid like the plague. All email address are false as well , keep getting bounce backs.

I would not recommend this company mainly based in price. The locksmith came out quickly enough, but then charged me £237 to replace a lock barrel which I have been told is very expensive. Shop around and look on your local community FB page much better value for money. I have paid well over the top

AVOID! Called out for a simple job which was supposed to be £49. The guy arrived and without even checking the problem, drilled a hole through my lock and then just opened the door through the letter box, which is what needed to be done anyway as the lock wasn’t actually on! I had just left the keys on the inside!

Now because he drilled a hole (his own mistake), the charges went up to £69 and now I also have to get a new lock! When I checked my bank statement, they’d actually charged me £79 so I have reported the transaction to my bank!

I called the company number back and they said they’d get a manager to call me back but then blocked my number from calling them! Called from a different number and went straight through! Again, this number was also then blocked. All I can hope is that my bank can give me some of the money back as I doubt I’ll ever hear from this company again.

Steer clear of this company - totally untrustworthy.
Phoned them because website said 20 minute call out. Explained that it was an ABS lock and he told me the price was £59. After 25 minutes I got a call from the engineer who said he would be another 30 minutes. When he did arrive, he took two minutes to sort and then charged me an extra £159 (£218). Absolute sharks - they lied to get the job and then over charge. Making a quick opportunistic buck doesn't build reputation guys.

Came quickly and was quickly got us in. However, broke the latch on the door, didn't repair and then charged £29 more than the quote! When I queried it the gentleman said it was because he'd had to screw on the plate after he'd broken it! Didn't want to argue as I was alone with my child but made me quite angry.

I spoke to a foreign lady who advised that a replacement like for like yale lock is £74. I asked if any other cost e.g. for Labour, she said no, that full cost. She asked if I locked out/ an emergency, I stressed it was not.
Engineer arrived, offered me a basic yale for £59 or like for like £78, not quite what i was quoted but i let it go an went with like for like. He replaced lock, an then charged me £128! Said £50 Labour charge on top! Stupidly I paid him.
Next day I noticed that the receiver on the back of my door is my original one! I rang the company, spoke to a man who said he would look into it an call me back, but didn't. When I tried to call them again they have now blocked my number! I spoke to the engineer on his mobile who was very polite but said the £78 WAS just for the lock, and that it was down as an emergency job hence £50 addition. I told him the office had blocked my number, he said he would speak to them and get them to call me back.
Needless to say I never heard from them again.
They don't appear now when i google 'Locksmith Knowsley' either.

I locked my keys in my key and the locksmith was able to open the door. He never gave up even when my keys dropped.

Contacted the company regarding an emergency. When I asked about the price it was very cheap. I asked about hidden costs and pricing of parts. I asked where they were based and he said London. The guy, who has a distinct European accent, got a bit heated when I asked pricing questions. I told him that I found him unsettling and had decided to go elsewhere. Do not get se as the price will go up once they are at your home.
