As all the other review suggest, do not used, got quoted £49 for a call out and told that if it was a small job (it was just a snapped key) that it would just be included in the call out fee, the guy came, told us we needed a new lock despite him trying the lock and saying it was fine!? Then tried to charge £130, I don't know if he thought because I was a women that I wouldn't have a clue, but I said I know it's possible to remove a snapped key with barbed rods,but he was telling us it probably wouldn't come out and that it wouldn't work,...so he wet to his van and got it out in less than 30 seconds, we got charged £80 and he was there for no more than 5 mins, I can accept the call out fee but £30 labour for literally 30 seconds, are you actually for real?

What an awful company. I called for a locksmith and the Locks-Unlocked receptionist said someone would be here in 30 minutes. I waited 80 minutes and finally called to ask when someone would be coming. The woman I spoke to said the locksmith will call me back right away. I waited another 10 minutes and did not receive a call so I called the receptionist again to cancel.

I phoned another locksmith to help. 15 minutes later, I received a phone call and some man said he would be here in 25 minutes. I asked what company he was from and he said he did not know, but he just receives calls for his jobs. I assumed he was the new one because I asked the receptionist from Locks-Unlocked to cancel. The new and right locksmith shows up so I called the other number just incase it wasn’t him. This man was from Locks-Unlocked and he was threatening to make me pay £49 because he drove here and he was 5 minutes away. He was yelling at me over the phone so I hung up and called the receptionist who said she did cancel him. The Locks-Unlock guy calls me back and yells at me again saying I owe him money. Sorry, not sorry but I waited an hour and a half and this was poor miscommunication from the company and not on me. I waited and he could not even tell me which company had sent him. It was very unprofessional to call back just to argue with me.

Absolute cowboys!! Don’t use them unless you want to fork out an enormous amount of money. I was told £49 and then ended up paying £150 for a simple front door key change. Will never use again.

Well I wish I had read these reviews before contacting them. Very unprofessional I called for a quote and the lady just said someone will be with you in half an hour I asked I just needed a quote she said it's going to cost £49 call out charge first. I then checked their reviews called back to cancel and then I was hounded by phone calls one after another I explained I wanted to cancel. That didn't stop them leaving a rude text message. They kept on ringing on different numbers. AVOID THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL TRADES PEOPLE.

This lot will leave you high and dry.
I lost my garage door keys and the door was left unlocked.
I asked the chap to change the lock and left him to it.
He came knocking and said he needed to order a new lock as it was specialist and would come on Monday (today is Saturday). He then informed me that he had locked the door. This now means I can't use the garage as I'm locked out and have to wait to next week to use them again and he quoted me £125 for the new lock and £59 labour.
I've just ordered a new lock on amazon for £15 and I'll do it myself.
Bunch of unprofessional cowboys and now the Manager has blocked my number as he doesn't want to speak with me again.

Tried to charge me nearly £300 for a lock that he hardly tried to pick. He then said I had to pay call out charge which I hadn’t been informed of. He wouldn’t produce a business card so I threatened to call the police so he left Photos taken of him and his car

Scam. Advised £49 to open door, call out free. Turned up, didn't attempt to open lock, said letter box was in wrong place to hook the lock. Said lock needed drilling and replacement fitted would be £220 (it was a simple Yale lock), we said forget it, the price then came down to £160, we still said no and was told there was a £59 call out fee. We told locksmith to send invoice as money inside house. He then miraculously open the door with a bendy card in about 15s. Paid £50 cash to get rid of him. DO NOT USE!!

While the locksmith Micheal was professional this was very expensive call out. £230 to open the door and another £299 to replace the lock for a Schlosser new security cylinders. However, searching on line the Schlosser lock costs no more than £60 and yet I have been charged £299. Being a vulnerable person I had no choice but to pay the overall total price of £578 and I believe this is an excessive amount and I wouldn’t recommend this business to a friend as there are many other companies just as qualified and professional who don’t charge such a high rate.

Like many reviews on here, was quoted £49 to come out. Friendly enough and explained he would need to drill the lock and replace it, gave us 3 options (varying prices) for new locks. On completion he charged the £49 call out plus 99 to gain entry to the house plus 89 for a lock I've seen online for 15. Awful service and wouldn't recommend at a.

Was quoted £39 on the phone, and within 20mins.
3 hours later some teenager turns up in his hatchback, wiggled a pick in the lock for all of 5 seconds and tells me it needs to be drilled out and replaced for £129 charge. i agreed.
he proceeds to drill it out and returns to his car then returns with an invoice for £200 and tells me he doesn't have a replacement lock.
I asked to see his license that he could not produce, I phoned the companies office and told them I'm not paying till the police arrive and he threatened to charge me £200 an hour for holding his "locksmith".

ended up paying him £100 to get off my property.
complete scam, the remains of the lock revealed no security or hardened steel pins.

avoid at all costs, get a MLA approved locksmith

So much for 20 minute service !!!
Rang in the morning was told a locksmith would contact me, 2 hours later a call claiming would be with me in 30 - 45 minutes.......... never turned up
Another call one hour later to ask did I still need locksmith would be there in 20 mins..........never turned up.
I phoned and he claimed he had been at the door - this is not possible I have a very noisy dog. He then asked for the postcode as he didn't have it. Funny that must of guessed which door to be at !

Called Locks Unlocked 24 hours at 7pm to go and help my nephew get in his house as he had locked his keys in his car. Found them on the Internet and called them. Your calls are actually diverted abroad a Polish man answered and said it would be £49.00 and if its tricky then there would be an additional charge but would be there within 30mins. A Polish man arrived and straight away said it will be £130.00 didn't attempt to do anything but said he would drill the lock out. I telephoned the office again only to speak to a Polish lady who said its a £49.00 call out fee then anything else is extra I corrected her as the advert says No call out fee and how the hell can the engineer say £130.00 without even looking at it!!!... They are con artist and thrive on people who are desperate DO NOT USE SCAMERS!!

Disgusting experience. Was locked out my house and rang up for help, told them my daughter was coming home because I had someone to watch her while I couldn't get in, quoted me £39 for a simple job, and £49 for a harder job. The boy came out, stinking of weed, slid a piece of card through my door to try unlock it and told me it's not gonna work and I have to pay £89 to get it fixed. I rang up the office and was absolutely shouted out, to near tears, was told I'm going to get the man to loose his job because I was lying about what he quoted me to come of and the boy stood next to me laughing saying this has happened before and he knows I was quoted £39, and picked up his bag and left me outside.

Called this company as I managed to leave the key on the inside of the door. Locksmith turned up promptly within 30 minutes. I am not surprised! Money for old rope. Locksmith made no attempt to open the lock and said would have to drill the lock, as the key was on the inside. Apparently not always the case, so I have now read, but I guess the they prey on your lack of knowledge. So £269.00 later for about half hours work and a lock which was the middle out of 3 choices. Was probably the cheapest option how would I know the difference . The worst thing to follow, they used an engineer from AM Locksmith Ltd which as it turns out have been on rogue traders!

Would give this place a zero star if I could. Absolute scammers, told us free quotation depending on when he looked at the lock labour 49 and 20 upwards for the lock. When he came out tried to charge me £187 for an alleyway door lock! I told him no and he got very aggressive with my partner and told him he would need to pay £49 for the call out which we were told was free, my partner challenged this and rang up and the man was aggressive on the phone and hung up. The other guy then stormed out my house and slammed my front door as hard as he could when I had a 4 month baby in my arms that almost jumped out of her skin! AVOID!!!!

£49 call out charge which I was told was the price to fix the lock without parts. Then asked for almost another £500. Ended up paying the £49 and getting out another locksmith. Two guys turned up in an old fiesta. Extremely poor and an absolute scam. The website also suggests they are either 4.5 or 5 stars, however every site rates them extremely low.

Double the price advised!!
