Total scam. My son needed help out-of-hours with a faulty front door lock. Adam arrived in about 30mins, simply drilled the lock, didn’t replace it and charged him £780.00. The lock was not replaced and calls by me to the number are being met with “My supervisor will phone you back”. This is a scam company.

What started of as what seemed a great service, rang lovely lady answered the phone took details, chap arrived 20mins later, saw the problem said needed a new mechanism, sure who much, depends on which one and then mumbled some costs, asked again and said between £150/260
Should I go ahead? Yes please as he’d done the temporary fix so we could now at least get in/out the house!

Due back next day didn’t show so we called, said he was busy on another job and could be there in an hour, we were heading out so rescheduled for next day, he came whilst I was at work, my partner was in and completed the work satisfactorily! He then said thanks that’ll be £625 less the £100 deposit you’ve paid! A little shocked 😳 she paid the bill!!

I have since had this extra work quoted by 3 companies and none were over £250
Happy for the call out and door fix for £100, rest of the work way overcharged! Would NEVER had gone ahead knowing the costs would be £525 for the mech, I have a friend in double glazing and had asked him was the quote of £250 about right, he said yes so let them do the job!!

CON MERCHANT AVOID at all costs if only we have Trustpiloted in advance!!!

Had an issues with my locks on A Saturday night, great!.

I couldn't sleep all night at 7:30ish in the morning I couldn't wait, I found lock-unlocks, it said 24hrs, so I thought it's not rude calling on Sunday morning is it??

I rang a lovely angel answered the phone, gave my details, got some guidance on pricing. I was told fine an engineer will call you within an hour or 2 (can't remember exactly), I'm a tradesman so I was like it's Sunday take your time, we all need a rest.

Steven was outside my house around 8:30, I did get a few call (which I missed, I was getting washed and ready, so sorry about that).

I was still in my pyjamas poor Steven lol. Oh he was such a gent, very respectful, lovely lad, told me all the options, and he was starting within a few minutes of me answering the door.

I ran up and quickly throw on a tracksuit came downstairs and Steven was already to leave, I was like slow down lad I've not even offered you a drink lol.

He was gone before 9am on a Sunday morning!

Lovely team, easy process, super quick service, did I say on a Suday morning?

What else do you need? If your locks worked on especially out of the blue at any time you need to call Locks-Unlock.

Called this locksmith company for a quote for a friend and told them I didn't need there service in the end and gave NO DETAILS.
20/30 minutes later I received a call from their locksmith saying he was outside my property and here to do the job, I explained I only asked for a quote and didn't even give my name let alone my address to which he told me the call centre (number below) tracked my precise location and he was demanding £49 for being dispatched to my property.

Absolute disgusting they can just track and turn up unannounced.

DO NOT USE! I have been quoted one price over the phone then got charged a triple of that when the job was completed. Called a couple of times to discuss it and was told a manager will call me back. Now my number has been blocked and I am unable to contact them. SCAM

Hefty price tag for some interesting standard of work. Needed a new lock asap, great in regards of turning up quickly.. shame our new Yale lock hasn’t be secured to the door. Looked good and a few hours later is dangling off. As I investigate and search for missing screws I realise, oh there isn’t any. So mr locksmith can’t even use a screw driver this is wild and beyond lazy. Anyways you think having of forgot the crucial thing that secures a lock to a door that they might just come out and fix it. Countless phone calls now being told someone will call me or show up. 3 days in neither things have yet to happen! Yet website suggests they’ll can be there in 20 minutes. I mean guys seriously having no lock on a front door in central Bristol, obviously not important or a priority. Anyways.. trading standards?

Locksmith charged me £200 (down from £300) to open my door with a bit of plastic. Avoid at all costs!!! Guy was possibly pretending to be from this company because the phone number and bank account name was different but I can’t contact this company now either. I think they’ve blocked my number. Scam artists

My daughter &. Boy friend called. This so called company as their front door lock dropped.
Quoted £69.00 if they come and could not get in.
He drilled the lock out and fitted a new cylinder you can buy for £15.00 and charge them £260 and no receipt given never quoted just done it they had. To pay. He also said they the lock that was fitted is wrong hand which is totally incorrect.
We will be reporting this to HRMC & Small cliams court. Avoid, Avoid we will advise rough traders BBC as well.

Extremely Disappointing Service – Avoid at All Costs

I strongly advise against using this company. While on holiday, I asked a friend to contact them to help with a lock issue at my flat, regrettably without checking reviews beforehand. The technician, Lawrence, arrived over an hour late and failed to ask for basic security verification, such as proof of address—an immediate red flag in terms of security protocol.

One of the locks is incredibly easy to pick, and I've had locksmiths open it with just a piece of cardboard. Instead of attempting a simple fix, Lawrence replaced this lock and left the other broken, charging £263 for an incomplete service. I had to pay another company to replace the bottom lock, which actually secures the flat, a further expense I shouldn’t have had to incur.

When I attempted to resolve the issue through two emails, the company ignored both. After two weeks I called the company directly to discuss the matter and was met with rude and dismissive behavior, further reinforcing the company’s lack of professionalism and customer care.

This company, and particularly Lawrence, appears to take full advantage of customers. Do yourself a favor and avoid them entirely, this company is a scam and will not ensure you any form of security . The level of incompetence and poor service is simply unacceptable.

In April 2024 I got locked out of my rental property in Edinburgh, and couldn't get in touch with the agency, so I called the phone number on this site after a quick google (shows as 01313814297, but actually calls 01313764750). I was quoted a reasonable call-out fee, but when they got there the guy said he'd have to drill the lock out and replace it. I stupidly believed that it was more expensive because it was a high security mechanism, and, because I was in a rush to get inside, just went along with it. They charged me GBP996 for the whole thing. The guy said they'd send through a receipt that I could claim through my insurance, but nothing ever arrived. After a few other online searches, I realised I'd been scammed. Needless to say, I learnt my (very expensive) lesson that day! I'd highly recommend not using this service.

Do not use this company. Quotes £49 + £25 for lock change.

Tried to charge £223 - absolute con artist.

Appalling rip off. Front door lock not working and quoted £427 after breaking old lock to get in. Disgusting, greedy con artists. A reflection of the the sort of people out there just waiting to exploit at any opportunity. Funny 4 and 5 star reviews on website. Says it all. Trade description violation. Promised an email later with receipt and guarantee of work covered if any problems. Absolutely nothing received. Sad really that these people actually throw their skills and business down the drain by destroying their own reputation in the quest of pure greed. Absolute shame on you.

I got locked out of my apartment.
I phoned the office and was quoted £60 call out which I accepted but where things change are when the locksmith attends and loads you with a string of other extra charges. My total bill was £344, in reality it should of been no more than £200 maximum! The reality is the company doesn't rely on repeat business as it's not something that happens on a regular basis to anyone so they are obviously happy to rip you off knowing they will never see you again anyway.
You live and learn and it will never happen to me again!

Said they would send someone out in 30 mins when we called, no one came after an hour. Within that time we had learnt they are a scam company so called to say we no longer need them and to cancel the request. Conveniently they said while we were on the phone to them, their guy had turned up at our property (he hadn't) so we had to pay in full or they would take us to court. We told them where to go and then asked for their company number which we looked up while on the phone and it confirmed they are using a dissolved companies details as their own. Absolute lying con-men who try and threaten people to pay. Well it didn't work with us...

Phoned company and spoke to manager (David Janoz or that is what he said name was). Asked for initial quote to open broken lock in UPVC door. Price quoted was £49 to do simple repair. However on arrival locksmith on opening door said he would need to to replace internal mechanism and eventually came back with a price of £450. When l spoke with manager he started hitting me with £49 call out charger and £99 to open door before any parts were charged. I advised that he didn’t state any of these charges when l made initial enquiry. Manager started becoming abusive overphone threatening legal action. Sorry l didn’t find poor reviews before contacting them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF FOR SIMPLE LOCK REPAIRS

Scam company!! Do not use! Tried to rip me off! Number dials international dial tone. Avoid avoid avoid! People like these need to be stopped!

Called this company last night as locked house keys in house didn’t want cause damage thought would get a locksmith out to pick lock said he was from Wigan would be £49 maybe bit more arrived at address my brother said never attempted to pick lock I arrived said he would have to drill lock out and replace would be £198 I said both locks are locked he said oh there is two locks I didn’t give him chance to guess he was going to double the price I told him your going to just drill the lock I could do that forget it and go. He said I would have to pay a cancellation fee and I would have to speak to his boss I said I don’t have speak to anyone there is no cancellation fee on your website he said he had drove half hour from Manchester I said you told me you was in Wigan he said I should have sent a photo of lock to company I said you never asked for a photo. ( Not a chance I’m paying these rip off scammers stay clear of this company )

This company has gone bust. The number is directing to other companies who then rip you of. I was forced into paying, be-littled for being a female, lied to by someone saying he was the manager. They told me after the person had been out, they only send staff in work vans and uniform, the person that came had a track suit on and was in a black Volkswagen polo. They are now saying they are called lock n lock. But sadly I can’t call them as they blocked my number after I questioned them.

The also didn’t even examine the fault just immediately said they need to drill the lock.

They have now been reported to trading standards, but sadly I am left massively out of pocket and feeling very stupid, for panicking and not thinking straight in a stressful situation.
