Accidentally locked keys in flat, took over two hours to arrive after saying they would be 30 mins, the locksmith took one look at the lock and said he would have to drill it and try to open from the inside which would be £250 and then told us he would most likely have to completely drill out the lock and replace it which would be much more than that… we said we couldn’t afford and he then said we had to pay a £60 cancellation fee. Turns out a decent locksmith can open it for £50 in fine mins. Do not use this company

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. I rang to ask someone to look at a lock that had a key snapped off in. Was told the call out fee was £49 and someone would be there within the hour. I got a phone call from a man saying he was the locksmith and was on his way. I explained I wasn’t at the property but my tenant was. He rang when he got there saying it needed a new lock and that the price was £165 including the call out fee. Thought it was a bit steep but needed it fixing today. He then rang back 5 minutes later saying it was worse than he thought and it was going to cost nearer to £400. At this point I handed the phone to my husband who in no uncertain terms told him to get out of the property and sling his hook and he wasn’t getting a penny . I got a phone call from my tenant saying he’d taken the whole lock and handle off and thrown it in the garden!!!! Basically leaving her with her young son in a property that couldn’t be locked. Thankfully I found a local locksmith who went and rectified it all for £80. These people are beyond disgusting and are apparently very well know scammers and con men in the Locksmith community. I got another phone call from their office asking if I had been satisfied with the work. I told her what had happened and she said she would ask her manager to call me, I obviously haven’t heard from them but at least I didn’t part with any money. Avoid at all costs!!!

Exactly the same as other reviewers, panicked and called them. Says 20 mins took 2 hours to arrive, then charged £405 for 10 min job. £125 call out, I can cope with as at night, but the balance appears to be for a £50 tops part. Feel scammed but only door to the house so just daftly panicked. Should have known better

Oh... when in a crisis take a minute. My tenants front door did not open. I called these people and In fairness they fixed it and installed a new gearbox and cylinder, told me £125 + £109. But when i came to pay the price had escalated to £544! I could have bought a brand new door and ironmongery for that price. Originally told it was £45 callout fee... I wonder if I'll get my invoice??

Biggest scammers ever. Taking advantage of vulnerable people in emergency. I should have read the reviews but I was in an emergency situation. Avoid at all cost

Very good service. Came with in 20 minutes. Locked house and car keys in car. The lock smith drove to my car to try and open the car but was unsuccessful then drive back to my flat to then drill out my lock so I could get in and retrieve spare car keys. He then replaced my door with new lock and set of keys. Good service, on time and done the job quick.

Use this company at your peril! I would give them zero if this website allowed!

Charged £370 for a £165 job to change the lock which wasn't done properly so the house wasn't secure enough. Didn't call me back, lied and said they were trying to fix the problem when clearly they weren't. Vicktor the technician didn't come back to fix it.

Companies like yours should be struck off. I don't know how people like you can sleep at night, ripping people off.

Luckily we found a true and honest company to fix it.

Another case of bait and switch. We were told that the job would cost £49 and when the technician arrived they quoted almost £200 to retrieve keys through the letterbox. We refused, were instructed to pay £49 call out fee. I have called the company to complain and get this money refunded, however the manager is always 'unavailable' and will call me back (but never does), and my two mobile numbers have now been blocked. Avoid at all costs!

I wish I could rate these as 0. Cannot believe this company charged a vulnerable 81 year old man £204 to have his door handles changed. No new lock or keys were needed. The door handles were replaced with cheap ones. He had fallen and grabbed his door handle which broke and therefore he could not get into his flat. This happened at around 10.30am on a Monday so no night time or weekend call out either. They came, fixed it and went within 7 minutes! No proper invoice, to reference on the bank payment - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

If I could rate 0 I would. Advertised as £39 to gain entry on their website. The locksmith got here over an hour after he was supposed to. He immediately attempted to start drilling into our lock after half-heartedly shaking the door. We begged him to just try picking the lock, which he did. Then he charged us £135 for less than a minute’s work. We only received a card receipt, no email invoice.

Was a bit worried after reading the other reviews after I’d already requested the company to come out. We’d lost our side door key and needed the lock replacing. Were quoted from £49 and arrival within an hour on the phone. Well our locksmith arrived within 25 minutes, he got the lock out very quickly and explained that it would be £49 for the labour and then gave us the choice of 3 locks. All in all it was less than £140 for the door open, a new lock and 3 spare keys - very reasonable for such swift service on a Saturday. Thank you.

Very responsive, came within 35 minutes of us calling. Our front door lock wouldn’t turn, and we also couldn’t get in our back door. Sebastian managed to get into the front door open even though the opening mechanism had failed - it felt like a miracle. Not only did he replace the mechanism and lock on the front, he also fixed our back door. Both now work better than ever, very pleased! It seems many people have had negative experiences which is a shame, but I couldn’t complain at all about ours. Thank you!

We've waited outside of the house for more then 1 hour for them to say they are not coming.

AVOID THIS "BAIT AND SWITCH" COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Advertised a £39 call out fee. This turned out to be £49, even midday on a usual business day. Then £109 to drill a front door lock, £129 for a lock that costs £14 on Amazon, £10 charged extra because he "broke" four drill bits getting in to the house. Overall £297 for less than an hour's work. The locksmith they sent around had an unmarked van and no uniform and gave a fake name and a fake company he works for "Save Security Ltd". I've complained to Locks Unlock, the Trading Standards and the Master Locksmith Association. According to local and online research, this job was at least double what it should have been. They prey on vulnerable people in vulnerable circumstances. They are not based local to your area, but have unregistered locksmiths to call on. AVOID.

Called this "company" without checking Trustpilot...THAT WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I was quoted £49.99 for a standard unlocking of our side door to the garden, within minutes of arriving this escalated to £149.00 as it was a "difficult and ultra secure lock" What a scam!! , the lock was drilled out in less than 20 minutes. They then tried to charge a futher £167.00 to replace this lock. Outraged I went on line and found the same lock they were looking to use at less than £20.00..I declined their services and told them to leave...ABSOLUTE SCUMBAGS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES....

Bogus company seems all these reviews they use the same scam techniques to get you to pay over the odds for a very low quality replacement a lock costing £8 that they charged me £177 plus all the other charges. Never use this company I unfortunately out of desperation as I had a young baby and we needed to get back in the house. How these scumbags can do this with no shame is beyond me!

The experience was amazing, specially because he was the only one able to do the job at the same day. Very reliable and amazing professional.

Annoyed I can't leave a lower rating. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were called out to let my partner back into our house after she locked herself out. All they needed to do was pick the lock to let her back in. Instead these scumbags decided to create a job for themselves by drilling into the key barrel and ripping it out completely. They then left a massive hole in our door and said they wouldn't fit a new one untill she had paid the full £294. She was only quoted £49 plus vat on the phone. She was blackmailed into paying. Once she did he fitted the barrel and left. However he left us with the obliterated remains of our perfectly fine key barrel, his broken drill piece and a load of rubbish and mess all over our door. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ABSOLUTE SCAMMING SCUMBAGS.
