Contacted the dealer to book my van in for service on 21/8/2026, was told I would receive a call back to book in. Didn't receive the call so rang back 24th and checked that my contact details were correct left them with 2 contact numbers and email and was told again would receive call to book the vehicle in.

Again no call so rang again on the 26th,28th again to be told i would receive a call back..... still waiting.

Rang Evans Halshaw Ford in Chester first thing this morning after a bank holiday weekend straight through to their service desk and van booked in for 2 weeks time.

Granted this is only a minor inconvenience but M53 e.port is 2 miles from my address and having to go to Chester takes more time out of my working day. I hope my experience can be used to improve this type of situation in future.

The people who I did speak to when I rang up were nice and polite I will add but, Booking a vehicle in for routine service should be as easy as I have been able to in Evans Halshaw.

I picked my new Kuga up on Wednesday it was presented beautifuly I had to do nothing Jayne and the Team sorted everything private number plate trasferd for me.
Today Wednesday we picked up a Fucas for my Daughter yet again Dave sorted everything out for us the whole experience was so easy.
I delt whith Jayne & Dave and thank you to all the Team from walking in to M53 all the staff where very professional and polite.

Recently used m53 too purchase a ford puma . Sailsman Neil morris was and I don't say lightly the best car sailsman I have ever dealt with . He made the whole thing a truly easy great experience. So helpful I would not hesitate to use again . Brilliant !

Called in to look at an Omoda 5. Met Jamie who told us all about the options open to us what stock they had and arranged a test drive. He was very keen to look after our needs and discuss the various options but in a non pushy way. Straight talking and no bull. Really pleased with our purchase.

I bought a Jaecoo 7 which I am made up with. Jamie was really helpful, he answered all my questions and I had lots! I changed my finance arrangements and car model a couple of times and Jamie was very patient with me and did this with no problems. Neil also called me to update me on my car arrival date to keep me in the loop as I did not part ex mine so needed timing to work for me. Great service, very happy. Thank you.

Very disappointing experience with Group M53 Ford.

I purchased a nearly-new Ford Explorer which was described as being in excellent / mint condition. Unfortunately, on delivery, the vehicle had numerous cosmetic defects including scratches, chips, scuffs, damaged plastics and defects in the boot area, far beyond what I would expect for a vehicle of this age.

I have now been trying to get these issues resolved for nearly 7 weeks. Despite many messages, photos, inspections and repeated follow-ups, there is still no clear resolution or repair plan in place.

An independent repair specialist who inspected the car was surprised by the extent of the damage and even raised concerns about possible previous paintwork over unrepaired damage.

To be fair, some communication has been polite and they have acknowledged certain issues, but progress has been extremely slow and there are still multiple outstanding items, including replacement parts and repair arrangements.

I am leaving this review in the hope that senior management will now step in and help bring this matter to a proper resolution.

Worst customer experience I've had. Went to the showroom on May 1st 2026 and after looking around we told the salesman (I won't name him at this point) we wanted to lease a Jaecoo 7. He agreed to send us two quotes within 48 hours. Six days later I hadn't received anything so dropped him a message. This is when the excuses started. Another week passed and still nothing. Further excuses but the main thing was he had clearly lost our paper work but he promised to send the quotes out immediately. Still nothing. I messaged again to say I'd not received the quotes, his response was 'We emailed them Steve'. I confirmed back that I'd been checking both my inbox and junk folder and there was no email. He then say's he's out at lunch but would send a screenshot of the alleged email within 30 minutes. Guess what, nothing!!!! Absolutely awful!

Had been looking at a few places at various cars when i called in here. Met manager Chris and as no salesman available he arranged a test drive while waiting. On return met salesman Neil Morris who explained difference between models and showed us available cars. Sorted out a deal and nothing was too much trouble , minor issues found were sorted by Neil as promised. All in all a great experience.
