Only once have I experienced an outage in 2 plus years. Contacted customer service and with in 24 hours my service was restored...

Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Installation day was coming up and communication was excellent. Installer was on time, courteous, respectful to my home & property and couldn’t be more personable with me. He tested everything before he left and made sure to show me how everything worked if problems happened. No problems so far.

I would rate this company 0 if available. I was approached by salesman. Said no contract. Fiber is the future. 400.00 gift card. no charge to switch from Xfinity.
Well, it took over 3 weeks to bury my line. While burying line they had to dig under a slope and my paver stone pathway. literally dug a tunnel, taking out support from beneath my path. Left me, a 66 y.o. senior woman to bury the tunnel and seed over.
Pavers are sagging now. Over TEN calls to customer service with ZERO callback. I signed up for autopay through my cking acct and inadvertently added my check number to the routing info. This resulted in non-payment and a 20.00 charge for bad check!! I called and spent over an hour on ph. with service person. Corrected autopay, was still billed for 20.00 for bad ck. and they never deducted payment from corrected acct. . today, my internet went down.
Finally, I called Mercury and they had cancelled my internet for NON PAYMENT! I paid w/ cc and was reinstated in 30 seconds.
However, after questioning agent about 400 gift card , she said it was a 3rd party that handles the gift cards and that I may not get one for NON PAYMENT. Also informed me that while there isn't a contract, per say, there is a fee for terminating in less than TWO years and that is 100.00. Isn't that a contract? I stated that it literally took 30 seconds to turn my internet off and on and for that there would be a 100.00 fee? Additionally, they say that they can charge the 1k installation fee for cancelling in less than one year!! This was never, ever explained. was never ever in any fine print, etc.
They have yet to contact me on repair of my damaged pathway, but as always, conglomerations have the consumer by the hair.
Bait and switch tactics. Poor customer service, except to extract money. Zero follow through.
Buyer beware.
I finally got a rep named Ashley who was wonderful- but problems are still not addressed!
10/16/2025- Update: 7 days after speaking with Ashley I have STILL not received call back from Support. The # below, that Mercury provided is the # that I have called at least 12 times now. My review stands at zero stars and HORRIBLE business ethics.

Mercury continues to be reasonably reliable, reasonably fast, reasonably competitive pricing, a best value for us given what is currently available at our address. Should you or any other provider reach out to us with fiber option, we would be quick to adopt it.

Rural internet is always a challenge. I wanted something more local than the horrible billionaire satellites🙄, so I was happy to find Mercury.
We have line of sight to the tower, so speed so far is about 150mbps and is good enough for my work needs, though I've not had a meeting yet. I'm hardwiring my work computer to the router to avoid wifi speed issues, too.
The tech who came to the house was awesome! He found a better spot than the roof for our antenna, explained everything well, and candidly didn't talk to me like I was clueless (as a woman in tech, this is still a monthly occurrence, so it's a nice surprise!)
They even buried the cable outside as part of the free installation!
