Ordered fibre through BT. Received texts from BT and M J Quinn confirming installation between 1-6pm yesterday. M J Quinn did not show up and to add insult to injury just sent a text saying sorry we missed you. Joke of a company. BT/Openreach why do you use a company who treats your customers with such contempt.

What a lovely gentleman came to help us today he was very professional and explained everything he was going to do. He has done a fantastic job and definitely went above and beyond.

Mohammed Haroon implemented my fibre upgrade and did a great job. Was punctual, kept me informed of progress and got the service up and running quickly.

Contacted several times regarding unattended equipment at SA18 2LP. No reply received. Equipment has been left for several months. Barriers are falling onto pavement. This is a safeguarding issue. Children are playing on it. It's also unsightly. Total disregard of the situation. I have photos but can't attach.

25/08/26 Update:
Still nothing done about the mess.

I had a install where the engineer cut our outdoor lights leaving the live wire (in the garden, where our grandchild plays) without telling us. Shame as the engineer was otherwise very pleasant. I reported it the next morning as soon as discovered. I was told someone would be in touch within the week to arrange repair. Fast forward 4 months later and after chasing and getting passed around I get an email saying 'the engineer said they didn't do it' - case closed. So calling me a liar. I've emailed twice since asking where I can appeal/escalate this and have been completely ignored. Absolutely disgusting customer service - its like they know we can't do anything about it so they don't care at all.

I was visited by engineer Tasleem who went above and beyond to fit our WiFi. He stayed until the job was finished perfectly & for that we are very grateful as there were a few obstacles. Very nice & kind man thank you.

Extremely efficient, and professional. Tasleem, was courteous, respectful, and kind.

Jamie came to install full fibre broadband and can't fault him . He was polite,friendly,neat,tidy and very efficient . Arrived when he said he would and we took his advice on the position of the equipment .. we weren't really sure where would be the best place as we aren't very technical ! He did have to come back the following day which we were more than happy about . Once the work was done he took time to explain everything in a way that we understood and set everything up for us. Before he left he asked if we had any other questions and double checked we were happy . Everything works perfectly . Great experience all round .

Had a FTTP install scheduled for today the 18th August.

Received two texts from Openreach and then MJ Quinn to confirm the appointment which I did.

Advised me that a person that is 18+ is required to be at the address for the visit therefore I took a day off work to be present for the visit.

Booked a 8am - 1pm slot and waited in for the entire duration for no one to show. I then check my CCTV to see what is obviously someone in a high vis at my telecoms pole around 10:10am looking back and forth at the pole and my property.

I then called the MJ Quinn’s customer service number and supplied my address details. The agent then contacted the engineer ‘Richard’ to ask for an update to which he said he was running a hour behind and should be with me by 1:30pm.

I waited until 2pm to give the benefit of the doubt and still a no show and the customer service team suspiciously now can’t get hold of him. I highly suspect the individual I saw on my CCTV at the pole was likely the engineer who couldn’t be bothered and outright lied to me through the customer service team.

I’ve now lost a days work and remain without a service. As an engineer employed by BT I will be taking this higher.
