The staff that attended site was polite and professional. Matthew communicated well and was respectful to the environment where we are a busy school with students who were doing exams at the time.
The report was sent over to me promptly and clearly detailed the visit and findings.

Did what they had to do with no hassle

Organised appointment through my home insurance for a residential visit.
First day - waited in, no one turned up and no message or call. I had to chase.

A week later - they text on the morning to cancel

13th April - guy turned up. He was friendly, did what he needed to do and was informative. Said the next appointment would be 2 weeks’ time. Traps laid.

27th April - no one turns up, with no call or message

28th April - I call to see what is happening and to explain the cancellations and poor service. Was told the message would be passed on and someone would contact me. I am still waiting.

This service is meant to be part of a home emergency package with my insurance but they’ve left it so long between initial appointments that if there are mice in the property causing damage it is on them. Even my home insurer, who said they have no alternative companies nearby, have refunded me my emergency cover cost because of the shambles I have experienced.

No shows, last minute cancellations, and a clear lack of any customer service. Avoid this company if you can.

edit on 05/05 - I provided the additional details NBC requested here, yet I am still waiting for anyone to contact me, despite them saying last Tuesday someone would be in touch and they would look into this as a matter or urgency following this review

Paul from NBC has done a great job at Chelmsford Transfer Station. He was professional, approachable, and clearly knew what he was doing from day one. Thanks to his hard work and practical approach, there has been a noticeable reduction in the rat population, which has made a real difference to the site.
Paul took the time to understand the challenges on site and put sensible measures in place that actually worked. Communication throughout was clear and straightforward, and he followed up to make sure everything stayed on track. A solid bit of work that’s improved conditions. Highly appreciated.

always in early as he tries to fit in with us, he knows what time the kitchen starts cooking etc, so in before this time without being asked to used his own imitative. Can answer any question either myself or kitchen staff throws at easily. very good at his job and making it a pleasure to work with him

Continually this business fails to provide the weekly approved site visits, continually chasing them to obtain update as to when someone will carry out the weekly pest control checks.

Rob really knows his stuff, willing to explain things to you and advise you as well, refreshing change from the usual 'sign here' merchants

Didn't turn up when arranged and couldn't get through to customer services at 10am in the morning (23.09.25)! Left a Chat messageshortly after, so waiting to see if there's any response to that!!

EDIT Ryan contacted me and admitted there was an issue. I appreciated his honesty and owning the issue. The team were promptly sent to assess the infestation problem and looking forward to them returning to complete the works.
