Excellent Service
Thank you Opera beds from beginning to end for being so helpful in assisting us to buy a bed for mom. The zoom video consultation appointment allowed mom to view the bed which was demonstrated and explained by Michelle who was friendly , patient and knowledgeable . All of our questions were answered. The 10 day trial allowed mom to try both bed and mattress and found one which met her mobility needs. She is happy with her bed. The delivery of the bed was on time. Every phone call I made to Opera Beds was met with curtesy and politeness.

As I have suffered from lower back pain for many years I was a bit apprehensive about ordering an adjustable bed and mattress on line.
After lengthy discussions with Billy Bruce I ended up purchasing a Emporia Natural Medium mattress which has exceeded my expectations.

Felt like a scam and Opera couldn’t be bothered with my complaint.
Due to a coughing problem in the middle of the night I decided to invest in an adjustable bed and chose Opera as the Manufacturer .
It was somewhat of a surprise to find on Friday 6th, March 2026 when the bed was delivered and errected that because my wife likes a soft mattress and I like a firmer mattress that there was a 3 inch height difference between the dual mattresses of the king-size double bed we bought and expected to lie on together alongside one another.
I find it hard to believe that any manufacturer of quality can expect a customer to accept a double bed with one half of the dual bed mattress 3 inches lower than the other so I wrote to Opera and they haven’t had the courtesy to reply but they just suggested to the retailer (Kingfisher Furnature in Streatford on Avon) that they should.
It has now cost me some hundreds of pounds extra for two mattresses that are the same depth and level in height. The bed at nearly £4,000 has not been a cheap investment. I would not buy Opera again.
Below was Opera's and I leave it to you to decide if its the attitude of a caring manufacurer.

So they obviously don't feel they have a responsibity to ensure the "dual" mattress kingsize beds they make for husband and wife have level mattresses and are happy with a 3" drop between the mattresses. I hope all possible future customers of Opera Beds take note of their response and attitude.
I still await a reply to my email to Opera Beds which I assume will never happen.
P.s. It would be extremely helpful if when writting a review we were able to include photographs and text highlighs so the reader could see the evidence.

Exemplary customer service
Opera's customer service is one of the best I've experienced in a long time. From explaining the options, to receiving the mattress, to (unfortunately) returning it as it wasn't quite firm enough for my Mum - at each stage everything was clearly and politely explained and then actioned without any fuss or hassle.
