Great service and quality stock
Called shop on fri, they had 3 sizes of the same bike for me to try in store.
Went up Sat, tried the medium which the manufacturer said I would need but eneded up needing a large so glad I made the trip.
Excellent, helpful staff, spent time with me discussing bike sizes etc and no pushy sales.
Great selection of bikes too.
Tried the medium and large around the carpark.
Didnt have the spec/size combo i wanted in the shop but was in stock at the warehouse.
Dispatched mon, arrived tue.
Suspension set up for my weight too.

I thought that the communication with…
I thought that the communication with Pauls bikes was really appalling. There was very limited information about delivery. No slots were given and consequently we were not home when they tried to deliver. Attempt to re-deliver was slow and I had to do all the chasing to get information about what was going on. On the day the bike was delivered it said ”scanned at the depot” – I didn’t realise that was code for out for delivery. When the bike was delivered the box was battered and the bike had a minor scratch on it. Overall, I thought this was a bad experience.

We do appreciate that the initial delivery was frustrating, and we’re sorry the bike arrived with some damage to the packaging and a minor scratch.
However, we do feel it’s important to clarify the communication around the delivery, as we don’t believe the review reflects the full sequence of events. The initial delivery attempt was missed, after which we spoke with you by phone on three separate occasions, contacted DX directly to chase the delivery, and called you back as soon as we had an update. The bike was subsequently delivered that same afternoon.
We always aim to communicate clearly and keep customers updated, and while we accept that the DX delivery process could have been smoother, we’re disappointed that our efforts to assist and keep you informed have been described as “appalling”.
We’re pleased that the bike was ultimately delivered the same day we were able to resolve the delivery issue, but we’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet your expectations.

Great service
Great communication from the team, they helped with my queries and also set up my suspension as requested before the item was dispatched. Delivery was quick and the bike was well packaged in original box. The bike was priced competitively and the service was excellent. I am very happy with my bike. I would happily purchase from Pauls Cycles again.

Helpful staff and very fast delivery
I rang before i ordered the bike online. The lady was very helpful, checked stock and answered my questions. I wanted the bike quickly, and she watched out for my order and the bike was dispatched the same day and arrived 2 days later. Impressive service.

paul cycles i used along time ago when buying parts for my trials bike (hope mono disc brake) and always from that day any time going into there shop everyone was and is always happy to help and the selection of bike and bike parts are amazing. knowing wot bike i was after paul cycles was a no brainer for me to get the bike i was after

Cyclescheme
Order a new bike online through the cyclesheme program. From choosing the right bike to choosing the right accessories to go with it, they made it easy with great communication from start to finish.
I opted for the click and collect because I know from past experience I'm not great at putting bikes together, they text me when it was ready and I was able to collect my order with ease. The service in store was excellent.

Best bike mechanic I have ever had.
Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. When you walk in the shop with a “my bike feels off” and it’s four minutes before they close but they still fix it to ensure your rides are safe and sound.
Having a bike which is spot on allows me just to focus on the ride ahead, and for that I am truly grateful.
