I have been asking via the email…for assistance to get a scan done and get supershield to work.
I have been asking via the email support for about 2 months now trying to get my product to work. Will not preform any scans, supershield refuses to even start, have removed and reinstalled the product as advised but did not work and now that it has not worked I am just getting ignored as they just send me the same steps that have not worked. They have no Customer Service unless you want to pay large $$$ for it and it seems that the basic program will not work unless you pay extra. This used to be a good company but not anymore. They used to provide service on the basic sub. Do not recommend unless your willing to pay extra.

I have had PC Magic for 10 years and tried switching to other desktop security software but always went back to PCMatic. This is recommended. Low nominal price for 5 licenses

Terrible Don't back up their product.
Terrible, got a virus which Norton and windows caught the virus. Totally discussed. No help and told me to go to a computer specialist and get it fixed. Never had this happen with Norton nor McCafee. No help at all from PC Matic. Went to PC Matic because American company. Even my computer class said don't do PC Matic but thought I want to buy American. Big Mistake. Had gotten PC Matic several years ago but decided after seeing all these false advertisements I should have let others know that bad virus got in when Windows warned me, PC Matic didn't and all they said was I would have to go to Best Buy to get my computer fixed. Worse virus I have ever had. No help from them. Others have helped me if I got a virus but I really can't remember in all these years ever having to get help for a virus. Norton and McAfee never let them in. Don't get PC Matic.

Customer support has cratered!
I have been a PC Matic customer for over 5 years. When I first started with them, they were an extremely customer oriented user friendly company with a good product. They do a lot of advertising about how they are US based and have good support etc., but some time over the last two years they outsourced their customer support to another company and frankly - it’s awful.
Now, when you have a problem, in order to talk to a person, you have to sign up for a separate “support subscription” that is $20+ per month!
It is very difficult to get any support without signing up for that support.
The program still works pretty well, but if there is an issue or problem, it becomes a huge hassle.
I notice that PC Matic no longer resides on any Top 10 Antivirus program lists - I suspect this is why. I am currently searching for a different Antivirus protection.

It sounds like there might be some confusion with another service, as PC Matic does not offer or charge for a monthly support subscription. Our standard email support is completely free for every customer. We do offer an optional, upgraded phone support package, but it is billed at $100 per year (which breaks down to less than $9 a month), not a recurring monthly fee.

I recommend PC Matic as I like that it is made in the USA. The price is reasonable, considering one subscription can be used on 5 different devices. I really like that I don't get bombarded over and over again to add more things to my account that I don't really want/need. Once in a while is acceptable, but not more than that. Customer Service has been A1 with quick replies to any questions or concerns.
