Efficient claims and friendly service
I’ve submitted numerous claims over the years for my Labradors and have been really pleased with how they’ve been handled. Claims were settled efficiently, and I never felt as though I had to beg for a payout. Everything was dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner, which made worrying times much easier. A very positive experience.

Absolute terrible customer service.
I selected this insurance company to cover my cat with an already existing condition. Their questionnaire deemed the "risk assessment" for covering my cat was too great and elected it wouldn't be covered. This was not discussed with me otherwise I would not have taken a policy out with them.
When enquiring about a claim to X-ray my cat it came to light her condition was not covered. The customer service was abhorrent. No one answered my questions about why her condition was not covered, instead they chosen to continuously repeat "In this case the questionnaire has declined the condition based on the risk assessment". No one confirmed what the "risk assessment" was, whether she is too old to be covered, the wrong breed (moggy) or the condition deemed her too "risk assessment" (lameness in the leg as diagnosed by the vet). Five times they told me she was not covered due to "risk assessment", not once did they elaborate on what this meant.
If you value your pets, choose a different insurance company

When completing the quote and declaring your pet’s medical conditions, the system would have shown a green tick for any conditions accepted for cover and a red tick for any conditions that were not accepted. We apologise if this was not made clear for you during the online quote process and for any confusion this may have caused.
I have reviewed the condition you declared and the outcome of the risk assessment. Based on the answers provided, the condition had not fully resolved and further investigations were still required to determine suitable treatment. For this reason, the declared pre-existing condition was declined for cover.
I am sorry that the explanation around the risk assessment was not clearer. After reviewing the answers provided during the application, we can better explain why the condition was not accepted for cover.
