36% policy increase without claims
If you claim, they pay you fast. But your pet with pre-existing condition will have the price soar like nothing I've seen an insurance do. My pet was born with heart murmur that never changed, and now he is 10+ years. I never made a claim for this particular pet. Suddenly my policy increased 36%. Insanity. Cos not many insurances cover pre-existing conditions they just change whatever they want. I decided to leave them. By the time my pet is 15 I'll be paying them more than my rent.
If you can afford it and don't mind being almost scammed, then the service is easy and pretty good, hence the 2 starts

Premiums can increase at renewal for a few reasons. As pets get older, the risk of illness or injury tends to rise, which can affect the cost of cover. If you've made a claim, that can also impact your premium. Additionally, vet fees and treatment costs are rising across the industry, and these increases affect all policyholders — not just individual cases. Our prices are also regularly reviewed to remain competitive, but factors such as government tax changes, increased treatment and medication costs, and overall veterinary inflation have made it necessary to adjust our pricing to stay sustainable.
We previously requested some additional information so that we could look at your query further, but unfortunately this was not provided. We appreciate the opportunity to have insured your pet and wish you and your furry friend all the very best for the future.

The simple claim process
The simple claim process, directly between my vet and the company and processed quickly with email confirmations sent directly to myself.
My pet had a few expensive procedures last year and the premium only went up a little at the next renewal date.

Found petgevity to be good value for money against the level of cover. The only thing that let them down this year was I did not receive my renewal proposal prior to the insurance renewing.

Fast and Easy to Claim
Petgevity has been a life saver in helping with expensive vet bills. It's so reassuring knowing that you can give your cat the best possible care to keep her well. Claims are processed very quickly, usually within 14 days, and are really easy to do. If you're starting out with insurance, my advice is to get more cover than you think you will need, as when you claim and then want to increase cover you can get stuck as existing conditions will be removed. You need cover that your pet can grow into, over the years.
