Ignored by staff and queue for ages
Although the staff seem to be busy, you often wait for 30-50 minutes to pick up a prescription. There's always a queue 🙄
Lying staff
Asda Pharmacy Park Royal - This pharmacy staff are immensely rude and inconsiderate. I went in the morning to pick my repeat prescription with a confirmation saying that my medication is ready. The lady at counter refused to serve me as the Pharmacist Manisha had not arrived to work. She told me to wait. I waited 40 minutes after which the Pharmacist Manisha arrived. The lady at the counter then checked and told me sorry we don't have your prescription. 40 minutes of standing for no reason. I stated I have a confirmation. But it was overlooked. I believe I was lied to. My medication was there they just chose not to give it to me. Management should really re-consider staff they employ. They should arrive to work 10 minutes before their shift starts also if someone is at the counter they should be confident enough to serve you and inform you instead of making you wait for 40 minutes that your prescription isn't there. I have just rung Asda Doctor online who have informed me it was dispensed there yesterday. So that's just confirmed, they just didn't want to give me my medication!

Waited another 30 min as they were talking and looking . Finely I got my medication whitch I paid £400 and it wasn’t cold and I don’t believe it it was in fridge .amazing.i waisted so much time this week plus I don’t even know if my injections are still ok as they are warm
Joke !
Outstanding help from a genuinely caring pharmacist
I can see that a number of people have shared negative experiences here, so I thought it was important to add a positive one to give some balance.
I wanted to say a sincere thank you to Usman at the Asda Brierley Hill pharmacy. On more than one occasion he has gone out of his way to help us locate medicines for my child when they were difficult to obtain locally. Rather than just saying they were unavailable, he took the time to check wider availability and help find a solution.
He was knowledgeable, calm, and clearly cared about making sure we weren’t left stuck without what we needed. That kind of effort makes a real difference to families.
A real credit to the pharmacy and exactly the sort of service people hope for but don’t always receive. Much appreciated.

Very disappointing service received at Asda pharmacy, Pontprennau, Cardiff. Took my prescription in and agreed to pop back in 30 minutes to collect. When I did so they had all gone on a 30 minute break and were meant to be back at 5pm. By 5pm there was a considerable queue waiting for it to reopen and two customers who were waiting said the staff constantly go early and come back late from breaks. At 5.10pm the staff started to return without any apologies whatsoever. Regular customers are clearly used to this kind of service but I will not be using their services again.
Tok slow to serve
Too slow to serve specially ladies on counter
Very bad service in asda oadby people like that not should be working there l went there 14 o'clock
Very bad service woman people like that not should work there asda oadby
Asda Woodchurch - thank you
Went to Asda Woodchurch, Wirral today to access their Pharmacy First service for sinusitis. Great service from assistant at the counter and the pharmacist who saw me. Thank you
Outstanding professional care
Went to see the pharmacist in Asda Huyton today as I had a water infection and my doctor couldn’t see me till Friday…. !!!!! Put water sample in Monday morning and got confirmation this morning that I had an infection and was in agony.(Wednesday today)
Both pharmacists I have seen and spoken to have been very helpful, friendly and professional .
After I explained my problem the first lady said if I could wait 5 minutes another pharmacist will see me and can prescribe some antibiotics which she did after taking my blood pressure and asking some health questions. It was quite busy at the time and I did not feel rushed or under pressure to hurry up.
With more and more GP surgeries sending patients to walk ins, Pharmacies or asking them to call 111 my first call in the future will be Asda pharmacy. Top marks from me. Thank you so much for your outstanding care
Jobs worth’s.
Another 1 star rating to add to the rest. Very unhelpful staff. Pharmacist hides in the back but pops his head out trying to look and listen to the conversation instead of coming out and dealing with the customer. Not interested in helping. Rude argumentative staff. Don’t bother going to these jobsworths. Go to somewhere that actually want to help customers and know what they are doing.
This has been coming for a long time… ASDA Minworth
This has been coming for a long time but finally had enough.
Ordered repeat meds through GP which were quickly sent over. I turn up the next day, or the next day after that and they are not ready.
They tell me to wait an hour and I am already in pain from missing two or more doses. What am I supposed to do for an hour, wander the isles?
Also I arrived at 7.40 pm on more than one occasion but they refused to serve me because they had already started to close. They close at 8pm.
I have now changed my pharmacy to a family run business.
I am looking forward to a night of pain!
Asda Pharmacy . ASHTON UNDER LYNE . Lack of products help
Asda Pharmacy . ASHTON UNDER LYNE . Tameside . Needed the support from NHS 111 ( telephone help ) service whom suggested that I get help from local Asda Pharmacy . HOWEVER . when it was explained I could be given health care products for diabetic issues the NHS 111 Service didn't have ANY network systems LINKED to the Asda Pharmacy to give me details IF available on shelf / in store . When I had to pay for a Taxi to Asda Pharmacy I was TOLD from staff there was NO available help with NO diabetic health care products either on shelf else in store . The entire procedures were costly & wasting time with no help financially for a wasted taxi journey after the daft referral from NHS 111 Service & lack of product help from Asda Pharmacy . ASHTON UNDER LYNE .
Inefficient services and GDPR concerns
It is not the first time Tamworth Asda Pharmacy has not been able to fulfill part of a medication order. I realise it happens occasionally however the choices given such as return the prescription to the doctors and have it reissued, leading to further delays are not helpful therefore I am stuck no medication, no offer to call me when it is ready, no customer service. Added to this I was initially asked if I was there for someone elses medication before I had even spoken, GDPR concerns . However I understand from friends who work at ASDA they do not as a company take notice of revies so this is probably a waste of time
The worst pharmacy I dealt with
The worst pharmacy I dealt with. Waiting time for a prescription is always over an hour.
It feels like as employees just not willing to work or care for you.

📌 Absolutely disgraceful experience at…
📌 Absolutely disgraceful experience at Asda Pharmacy Old Kent Road. The customer service from one of the staff members—who claimed to be a team leader or supervisor—was shockingly rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. She behaved as if she owned the entire place, speaking down to customers and showing zero respect or empathy.
What made it worse was the refusal to sell a perfectly available over-the-counter product (FreeStyle Libre sensor) without any valid explanation. We were genuinely in need, had made the effort to come in person, and they clearly had the item in stock. Yet she flat-out refused to sell it, offering no reasonable justification.
This happened on Saturday evening between 19:00pm and 21:00pm (21/03/2026), and the way the situation was handled was unacceptable—especially when dealing with customers who have medical needs. Staff like this should not be in positions of responsibility. Management seriously needs to address this behavior and reconsider who they put in customer-facing roles. 📌
The worst pharmacy ever
My prescription sent there by mistake, despite Asda having it for three days it was still not ready to collect, told it would be at least one hour,I had already missed taking medication in morning staff showed no concern despite medication not one that can just be stopped I had no choice but to wait, during that time I witnessed other people coming to collect medication to be told it wasn't ready one man had already been two hours prior and it still wasn't made up ,Asda st Leonards has the worst pharmacy I have even visited the staff have a couldn't care less attitude and need to learn to be more caring ,at the end of the day they are there to provide a vital service and have a duty of care,if they are unable to provide that then they have no rights in providing a pharmacy which is probably only there to bring more customers into Asda store without giving any consideration to patients that need vital medication.

My son was referred to Asda pharmacy by 111 for a consultation, we went there and and was told I’m doing all the things right at home for him, they didn’t check his throat or his ears (had bad ear ache) even though I said he had had a temperature for 6 days and the calpol and Nurofen wasn’t bringing his temperature under 37.6. They said they would refer back to 111. Just feel like we were fobbed off again by Asda pharmacy.

Seem to take an age with the person before, having a chat rather than giving advice.
When it was my turn, the pharmacist walked off even though I was right in front and never came back.
