Sinfin pharmacy Derby
I went to the pharmacy at Asda on the 25th of October at Sinfin shopping centre Derby. I didn’t get there until about 8.50pm after being given the runaround on the phone by a different pharmacy!
I was in a desperate state as I had a UTI! Initially I was told that there was nothing they could do for me as they were about to close and the consult would take too long! I was told that they sold sachets that may help, but I didn’t have my purse with me, my daughter had driven me and was in the store buying a hot water bottle for me to help with the pain! I explained that I had no money on me and walked away. There was a younger girl at the pharmacy who called me over and told me she was going to buy the sachets for me, I was so overcome with gratitude that I could have cried, how very kind of her, she suggested I made a donation to charity when I protested! I’m so grateful for that act of genuine kindness when I was feeling so desperate!
Then the pharmacist called me over and explained the sachets wouldn’t work and said he was going to give me antibiotics, he did the consult and voila, I had the drugs that I needed to help me!
I will never forget the kindness from these two wonderful humans! Thank you Aggie and thank you to the locus pharmacist!
No good!!
I’m disabled and can’t get out so rely on my son who is my carer to run around for me. Every time he goes he gets sent away and told to come back, I’ve spent two days ringing and ringing to ask a question about my prescription but they never answer the phone. My son doesn’t drive so has to walk 30 minutes each way every time. This is terrible!
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking service with them
Absolutely shocking service with them. Priority for them is money over customers health. I like most people are worried about weight. Myself especially as making my other health conditions worse. I gave them all my medical background including stomach issues and they still said fine for me to take injections. Only side effect highlighted was could effect HRT. Cut to 24hrs later and I was admitted to hospital with agnosing pain unable to keep any fluids done or food. It is still effecting me now. Raised a complaint with them which they ignored for 2 weeks and they came back spouting to and cs. No ethics or duty of care thought about. I am no in process of reporting them to regulatory board.
Lifeline
I attended on Saturday, following a sleepless night, after a bite/sting became clearly infected.
The pharmacist was brilliant. She briefly examined the wound, gave me antibiotics and checked my blood pressure that was unusually high. She explained it wasn’t unusual in respect of an infection. She arranged for a follow up bp check, and gave me symptoms to be aware of in case the infection got worse. I was so grateful, and can’t recommend them enough.
Shocking service
Shocking service. 20 minute wait for a flu jab only to be told there was no one to do it! This was 20 minutes after the appointment time! A big queue of dissatisfied customers. One star for showing up to work but nothing for anything else. Terrible and will avoid like the plague.
So slow
Came to pick up a prescription today at Sutton-in-Ashfield. So slow despite 3 staff.
ASDA PHARMACY ARE AWFUL
I went this morning to Asda Pharmacy, I wanted to see the pharmacist for a consultation as I had an ear infection, the lady behind the counter said it would be £25 charge to see pharmacist and whatever charge for medication. I am absolutely DISGUSTED that ASDA Pharmacy would charge me it should been for free. I thought all chemist taking weight of GP for minor problems definitely would NOT be going to ASDA again absolutely disgusting and appalling service.
ASDA Canterbury Flu Vaccine Appointment
I went to ASDA Canterbury for my flu jab appointment today to be told they'd run out and everyone was called this morning and told this. I hadn't received a call but was just continually told everyone had been called. When I said that I definitely hadn't and it would just be nice for them to say sorry I was told by the member of staff that she wasn't going to say sorry as she hadn't been working that morning. I was really shocked at the rudeness.
Medicine not ready inspite of being…
Medicine not ready inspite of being ordered 2 weeks earlier. They said they only revieved prescription the day before, but my GP usually sends same day. Told that even though an essential medicine for diabetes and that I didnt have enough, I needed to wait 48 hours for them to get ready. Even if they had received the prescription earlier they stated that the wait would be a minimum of 2 hours. Luckily I am a licensed medical practitioner so would be able to write myself a private prescription if I needed the medication from another pharmacy, but it shouldn't need to come to this. To be fair, the overworked pharmacist said he would try for the next day. I think I would be better off using another pharmacy. This one used to be good, have deteriorated significantly due to inadequate staffing. The store is West Bridgford in Nottingham
The service I received here was out…
The service I received here was out standing, I had a rash come up on the Monday and my local Gp said it wasn’t shingles (couldn’t diagnosis it) Come Saturday I was in so much discomfort I went to by some anti histamines as my GP follow up appointment wasn’t until Tuesday and I was so in so much discomfort. Gentlemen behind the counter invited me in to the consultation room straight away said it was shingles and suggested that I visit The summer field walk in treatment center so that the Gp on shift could prescribe me something straight away…thanks to this pharmacy I was able to get treatment that eased my condition straightaway and get me on the road to recovery

Went to collect some cystitis sachets for my partner who was in pain, encountered 3rd degree questions in the end they wouldnt serve me, clearly stated on google can be purchased over the counter, absolute wankers 😩

Went in with a prescription from Dentist
Waited 10 mins to be served as nobody on desk, paid for it, told it would be 15 mins, stand by the side and I will give it to you when I see she said , no problem…..
did a bit of shopping and proceeded to go back to collect and queue was 6 deep by then. Waited and waited and waited…..ended up leaving and will try later on. Painfully slow service.
4 trips to get 1 prescription filled
4 trips to get 1 prescription filled. 1st one I waited 45 minutes and got it part filled then 3 return trips. 20 minutes drive there, 20 minutes back and 1/2 hour in the queue. Makes approx nearly 6 hours of my time to get 2 common items. Never mind the fuel costs there and back. Then to add insult to injury they over supplied the 1 item on the 4th trip. You could have it back if you want to collect it but be prepared to make several trips and wait outside my house for 1/2 whilst I decide if I want to deal with you. Shocking service!
Asda Pharmacy Turner Rise Colchester
Asda Pharmacy Turner Rise Colchester. Unfortunately on the few occasions I've had to pick up medication my experience has not been a good one.
Despite receiving my batch prescription and speaking with
the staff who then speak with the chemist
Each time I go in they never have the medication.I'm being asked to call them at least a week before and then to call them again to
make sure its in.
Then when I do arrive I'm being
asked to wait 30minutes.
Can I suggest that if as a chemist
you have a repeat batch
prescription for a customer that
you have the item in stock This
would be a much more proactive
and efficient way in dealing with
patients who have repeat
prescription and stop these
patients having to come back
which in turn creates a long queue
which spills out from the
boundary of the chemist into the shopping area.
However despite this the counter
staff are approachable and
friendly.
This site is small and very busy for such a large Asda.Maybe a bigger
area would benefit the heavy
footfall

Asda pharmacy is the worse in Lowestoft…
Asda pharmacy is the worse in Lowestoft in my opinion. Twice couldn't find my meds. Sent me to East point, they told me they went there. East point very professional told me to tell Asda they do have them. I went back. After 20mins they found them. Clearly the staff are not trained in online systems. The pharmacist today 04/10/25 was to busy to do my prescription as he had a flu jab booked. I was told at 13:00 to come back a 7pm today. In my opinion, please can you get some better pharmacists. . The ones you are using are not effective in their jobs. I'm aware that the more competent pharmacists left to go to better pharmacies . Please 🙏 can you make your service better by looking at the reviews you receive. I'm looking forward to seeing some improvement soon.

This is the most uncaring team I've seen in a pharmacy! They are rude and unkind even towards vulnerable people
Newark Asda Pharmacy, staff sadly impatient and officious.
My wife and I went to Newark on Trent for our flu jobs. We had booked on line and had been told that we only needed to provide our reference numbers. However, when arrived we were asked to fill out forms online. My wife said this was not possible because she had data on her phone. She was then asked to provide her NHS number by going on the NHS app online. I would have left at this point and gone elsewhere, but my wife had already paid. The lady who gave me the flu jab was also very impatient and officious. She was unhappy that she had to go online, although this literally took about a minute. She also told me off because she thought I should've worn a shirt that made it easier to inject into my shoulder. We will not be going back to the Asda Pharmacy at Newark, as there are plenty of alternatives where I have the staff to be friendly, courteous and polite.
Went today to get some Covid tests
Went today to get some Covid tests, but was nonchalantly told they didn't have any.
The thing is, I actually have Covid and would rather not personally visit every pharmacy in the area, spreading my germs, in the hope that they have a test.
One would think that during a pandemic, adequate tests are available, especially from a healthcare provider.
Very poor indeed.
