Terrible service and scam
Terrible service and scam
I purchased a car on September 1st and was charged a fuel charge of £60. I also told the salesman involved that I will be taking my car to an independant garage and any faults will be theirs to fix.
Lo and behold, soon as I get in the car there is no fuel.
Also the dealer service paperwork seems to have been missing.
I ring back the next day and was told that the fuel charge will be repaid in a couple of days. I also asked for the service paperwork to be sent.
I also told them that I took the car to a dealer and the rear shock absorbers need replacing, they asked me to get a quote from a Bosch approved garage which I did and was told I will be called back the same day.
It has now been over 2 weeks and I am writing this review on the 18th September and no one seems to want to reply to my emails or calls.
I was scammed for the £60 fuel charge, my service paperwork has not been sent to me AND they are refusing to honour the repair they had promised and is under my statutory rights.
I will be taking the car back for a full refund if not resolved and raising a complaint to the Motor Ombudsman

A worthwhile trip
I made the trip from north Essex to Orpington to view a car. Although I ended up not buying the car I had selected online the experience was worthwhile as I was able to see more clearly what was on offer, what my car was worth on the market, and to clarify in my own mind what I really wanted. Jack was helpful and well informed and if the situation arose I would be happy to deal with him again.

Next steps after multiple bad service instances
Further to my previous review, 6 weeks ago, to which management replied stating:
‘A member of our Management Team will be reviewing the matters you have raised in full and will contact you directly to discuss your experience further, investigate your concerns and understand what has taken place.’
I was contacted via the phone, apologised to by a manager, he offered no form of resolution or compensation for the wasted fuel, wasted time etc. he stated he would contact the relevant companies to get the hard searches removed, to which he has not done and I have heard nothing back since. This will now become a legal matter until the hard searches have been removed. P.s there are 6 hard searches from this company! DO NOT USE THEM

Awful. Bought a car, finally when they did call back. Lots of chasing them! Unprofessional experience in collecting car. Minor fault first day of receiving the car and the detail in getting an appointment for the repair was unnecessary and took too long for the minor fault. Was the called 5.50pm to cancel the night before after rescheduling my work. Overall really bad experience. The customer service is lacking maturity and focus. The cars sell themselves.

Customer Service?
Waited 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment to be seen having paid the £99 holding fee. Paid a £500 deposit after seeing the car and arranged a collection date. Called to rearrange the collection date which seemed no issue, only to call the day before to confirm and found that nobody had a clue what was going on.
I was repeatedly promised callbacks that never came. Eventually I was told there was an issue with the car’s engine the night before collection day which I’m unsure as to how it passed their “175 point check.” I was assured I’d receive an update about the car the following day - again, nothing. Emails ignored. Calls ignored. When I finally managed to make contact, I was told they had tried to contact me when they hadn’t.
The deposit was refunded quickly which is the only positive I can give them.
Shocking communication, organisation and a complete waste of time.

Just been with Jack W who took me on a test drive. Very relaxed, not over selling. I liked the car but unfortunately I can get the same car at another dealer for less. Jack was straight with me explaining why he couldn’t discount and match the other price.
We both shook hands and wished each other well.
I’ll definitely go back to Prestige Cars when in the market again.

Absolutely shocking experience
Bought my car less than 6 months ago with the extended warranty. The car developed a fault which I brought in to be repaired by the service centre. They've had my car for more than a week, and after daily calls, they are still unable to tell me when it will be fixed. On top of that, they said a courtesy car isn't available for another month. No sense of urgency whatsoever even when I told them i live rurally and have multiple school runs to do. Absolutely shocking aftercare.
