One couple travelled from Wales and another couple from Scotland to Lincoln and stayed in a hotel to enjoy the truck driving experience. On the morning of the event we received an email stating that there were no trucks available. We emailed and phoned to ask for confirmation but no response was received.
Reading the company’s Ts&Cs they reserve the right do this at no notice with no refund.
The only vehicles that were listed as available were in no way comparable to driving a full size truck so obviously no plausible substitute was available.
We are therefore hundreds of pounds out of pocket with no compensation available.
We strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Your email on the day stated clearly “only the vehicles listed below will be available at this event” The vehicles listed were only cars and no lorries were listed. As stated above we tried phoning and emailing to clarify. Since no lorries were listed and we didn’t come to drive cars there was no point in travelling to site only to be disappointed further. Your communication is abysmal (your last email to us was addressed to someone called Ron?) and we have taken the matter up with Virgin.
Final comment.
Virgin have upheld our complaint with a full refund. Hopefully PSR will learn from this and improve communication and processes.

What an amazing day for myself and son at Llandow Circuit. Staff amazing, cars amazing, driver coaches amazing. Just amazing

Arrived at Curborough Sprint Circuit very excited but it wasn't clear where to go to sign in initially as the lorry was parked down the hill out of sight and no signs directing us where to go. When I did eventually get signed in I waited for the safety briefing stood in the hot sun due to there being no seating and very little shade available. The safety briefing itself wasn't very informative at all and didn't explain anything about driving on track like I have experienced at other track day experiences with different companies. I then waited over an hour in the heat, again stood the entire time due to no seating available. I understand there is an algorithm based queueing system that should prioritise everyone getting to drive their first car as soon as possible however I was disappointed to see people from later briefings being called to drive the car that I had booked to drive before me. It seems like the algorithm was broken this time! After waiting for over an hour I was told that one of the cars I had booked to drive had broken down. To be fair I did then get to choose any other car to drive instead which was fine. Eventually my name was called and I went and got in the first car I booked. I expected the instructor to point out controls to me, even just the basics, but he didn't at all. He told me to pull out onto the track after having my picture taken which I did and then gave me virtually no instruction whatsoever. The most he actually talked to me was to ask if I wanted to pay for extra laps. This felt very dangerous and I found the instructor rude and obnoxious. A short while later I went in the second car and found the instructor a lot more personable and polite. He gave me consistent instruction throughout my laps and felt a lot safer. The actual time spent in the cars however is far below that which I have experienced at other track experiences with other companies. Trying to check out was ridiculous, I again waited for over half an hour just to hand my lanyard over and say I didn't want any pictures despite being told in the safety briefing that it was extremely important to check out as if my life depended on it! Literally a process that could be streamlined by putting a container out for you to deposit your lanyard in but obviously this is their last opportunity to upsell you. The overall organisation on the day was awful, lots of staff looking disinterested and not very helpful at all unless you're paying for one of the many extras. conditions were terrible with no place to sit and wait for your name to be called and the waiting times were ridiculous. Cars seemed in poor condition and multiple cars broke down on the day. I understand all extra costs are advertised however it does take away from the overall experience when you're constantly being asked for more money all the time. The one positive was the second instructor I had, unfortunately can't remember his name but he was a young lad who took me out in the Mustang GT. Overall not a good experience at all and I won't be returning.

Our son had this experience as his 16th birthday present at Castle Coombe last weekend. He loved every minute. There is enough staff to keep queuing to a minimum. Each polite and helpful with any questions. The briefing was explained well even for the younger ones who attended. There was an optional upgrade which we took and our son got to drive 6 supercars. It was a pleasure to listen and watch him drive. The instructors conversations were clear and they safely showed him how to take the track smoothly, overtake when needed and most importantly enjoy the cars. A special mention to Rick in the Ferrari 458. Our son commented that he felt he understood the car, and had an exhilarating drive. Rick also inspired him and Duncan in the Aston V8 for similar reasons but this car handled differently and there was a huge appreciation for the confidence given and the feedback. All instructors helped make this an amazing experience and memory for a long time to come. The video footage package was we felt a great price and our photos will be framed and in our sons bedroom shortly. Thank you PSR we definitely will be recommending you.

Had a great time at PSR today driving both mustangs, great customer service from J.Y. Great staff and had a blast.

Can't see dates until you've paid.

Then the 3 yes 3 dates available are the day the schools start back.
9th Nov sat (I dont have my son that weekend)
10th Nov (he's at school)

9th also being a weekend is extra 24£ plus I've now found out that insurance isn't inc so thats extra 25£
So we're now upto around the 80£ mark. Then from reading reviews there's typically very few cars. So you end up having to upgrade further.

Total rip off

Had the most brilliant time at Castle Combe yesterday. Great cars, well organised and brilliant instruction and guidance! Stuart Mclaren was the pick of a great bunch and I really felt my driving "click" and flow in my laps with him in the 911 Turbo!

Had a fantastic time with PSR Experience at Castle Coombe. Drove some fantastic cars. The event was really well run. A massive thank you to 4 top instructors who really made me push the cars, in no particular order, Stu McLaren in the Ferrari 458, Callum in the Huracan, Enzo in the Audi R8 V10 and Pete M in the Aston Martin DBS. All were brilliant.
Also thank you to Andy who took me out in a high speed ride in the Radical, what an experience that was and I would highly recommend that. The car is incredible and Andy is a superb driver.
Also a shout out to James Crofts for spending time looking through lots of media at the end of the day. Absolutely brilliant day.

My only comment for improvement would be regarding the helmets for the high speed rides. Firstly the helmets are very warn with virtually no padding, I do not think they would provide much protection if the worst should happen. Also it would be far more hygienic if single use balaclavas were provided. Other than that a brilliant day as always with PSR.

Staff were so lovely and really helpful. My daughter had a really great time driving the mustang. Great experience all around and I would recommend to everyone. We will go back.

Had a fantastic time, staff from booking to the actual day were brilliant really supportive. Pete encouraged me to go that extra bit and I’m so glad he did. I laughed, he laughed and I so enjoyed the whole experience. Cars are lovely to look at but driving my dream car a mustang was an experience I’ll not forget. Fantastic time

Fabulous time driving Ariel Atom at Bicester Heritage centre, Bicester. Venue really well organised, the team and instructors were amazing. Great adrenalin buzz. Recommend it to anyone if you want some real fun.

Unfortunate day out.
Started off well, staff all friendly and very well accommodating, switching drivers last minute ect. However seems instructors can get it wrong and then blame it on participants. For context this experience was with PSR experience at Bicester Heritage circuit and I have had previous experience in similar cars to the Arial Atom that I was driving.

I had booked the Arial atom experience 8 laps along with a sighting lap. During the sighting lap was essentially shown the driving lines and explained that it is paramount that you need to listen and do exactly as the instructor says during the Arial Atom experience (which is perfectly reasonable) first 3 laps started off well to the point I was being complimented by my driving. I had continued listening to the instructor, on my 4th or 5th lap, as coming down the straight and approaching the right hand bend, slowing the car and foot firmly on the break, I was told "OFF BREAK" by the instructor followed by "TURN IN." Meaning coming off the breaks and turn the car into the corner, at this I was very sceptical if the car would go round the corner, as previously stated I have had previous experience and knowledge and thought we were going to fast to take the corner thinking that we'd probably spin, that being said I trusted the instructor and had thought maybe he was trying to show me how well the car will grip and handle the corner. I was very wrong, as I had expected we were too fast to take the corner which had resulted in a spin (still perfectly on the track, make it clear didn't hit anything).

Following this spin, I had said to the instructor that I thought we would spin as we were too fast to take the corner, but you had told me to come off the breaks and turn on which is exactly what I did. The instructor didn't respond or say anything but instead told me to drive back around the track in 2 gear (very slowly) and bring the car into the pits. I had done so, other staff had had a breif chat with the instructor whilst I was still in the car whereby the instructor has said word to the effect of: "He doesn't listen, I won't take him back out, he's finished 3 laps early."

I was stunned by this as I had simply listened to the instructions given and we had spun, i was able to explain this to another staff member politely explaining what had happened trying to explain that I have had various knowledge and understanding of driving techniques in these types of cars, unfortunately ultimately my word agaisnt an "instructor" wasn't going to be taken into account. The other member or the staff after hearing my version of account had said: "oh well maybe a miss communication" had asked if there was anything that could be done or if I could go out again ec, apparently not nothing could be done for the mistake of my instructor. Wish that I had ignored the instructor and had driven to the standards of my other training and knowledge, I would be confident in saying had I not have listened to my instructor we wouldn't have spun.

I would highly recommend actually booking a proper track day with the likes of silverstone or similar to avoid any issues like these. Silverstone single seaters is a great experience for novices or someone that hasn't been in a single seater before.

The experience was bought for me as a Christmas present. Having had some track experience, I didnt have high expectations of the event as I was expecting to be restricted. However, I as totally wrong. On the day I opted for a Ferrari F430, Porsche 911 and Lamborghini Gallardo. The instructors was great. They all quickly realised I had some experience and adapted their guidance and instructions accordingly. They really let me drive to my abilities and were positive and encouraging. Their instructions were very clear and enthusiastic. The organisation worked like clockwork. There was very little waiting. The drivers briefing was concise and clear and the whole event felt very safe. Im one of those popes who never buys photos taken of me at events but the photos and videos were really good so I bought the lot! All in all a fantastic event, run professionally, safely and efficiently. If PSR were to do anything more intensive, I wouldn't hesitate to sign up.

So the positives, lots of parking, check-in was easy, cafe and bar with seating. Briefing was on time. The cars were amazing and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The negatives, standing around waiting to be called, in a tent full of people in the heat. We had booked three different super-cars and there was at least an hour of standing between each car, so we arrived at 2pm, and left at 5.15pm, for 15 minutes driving. Takes the shine off somewhat...

We booked the PSR Experience for our son’s 12th birthday and brought four of his friends along — and wow, what an unforgettable day! From start to finish, the team was friendly, professional, and made the kids feel like absolute superstars.

Each of them got to drive a Porsche and a Lamborghini, which completely blew their minds. The instructors were brilliant with the kids — calm, encouraging, and clearly knew how to make it safe and seriously fun. You could see the excitement on their faces the whole time (and even more when they got their certificates and photos afterwards!).

It’s not easy to impress a group of 12-year-olds these days, but PSR absolutely nailed it. Every one of them came away saying it was the best day ever. As parents, we were really impressed by how smoothly everything ran and how well looked-after the kids were.

Would highly, highly recommend for a birthday or special treat. This isn’t just a day out — it’s a memory they’ll have for life.

what a great afternoon out , i got a voucher for xmas , and booked into the East Fortune venue at the air museum, I paid extra on the day for more laps and an introductory lap, two family members bought passenger laps on the day and they were also thrilled . the staff and drivers were all brilliant, have to give a mention to Ian, my instructor , 5 star review just for him , the car and the experience was much better than I was expecting . thanks

Great experience for my kids. Getting to the driving centre easy to navigate. The staff were very friendly and ensured the safety of all.
The only improvement I'll recommend is to fix the broken roofs meant for audience. It was raining and we got slightly wet.
Aside that it was a wonderful experience.
