I was drawn in by the high APYs (which is why they are getting 2 stars instead of 1), but I will NOT be sticking around. Raisin's customer service is AWFUL, and some of the policies they have in place are ridiculous.
• No easy way to get your money out quickly: Raisin does not offer checking accounts, ATM cards, or wire-out conveniences; you must transfer money back to an external bank to spend it.
• BUT each time you need to do so, you experience transfer delays: Moving money in or out takes 1 to 3 business days, and funds often sit temporarily in a 0% interest "Cash Account" before hitting the target product.
• AND you're out of luck if you want to switch your linked account or have multiple linked accounts: You're restricted to a SINGLE linked external bank account, and they won't let you make changes to that account for at least 60 days after signing up.
• ON TOP OF THAT their Customer Support sucks: If anything goes wrong (let's say you close the account you transferred your money from and now the system won't let you link to a different checking account), get ready for unhelpful automated chat bots, slow phone and email responses, and WEEKS when you'll be unable to access your money or even log into your account.

Just use Nerd Wallet to find banks paying good rates and place your money directly with one of them instead of this weird platform.

Eric the UK customer service. rep was extremely helpful when explaining how Raisin works. Raisin is a great concept. Being able to get better interest rates by switching banks without having to open new accounts is very innovative. Wish I had found Raisin years ago

THIS IS NOT A BANK! This is a 3rd Party portal. Feels like a HUGE SCAM!! They took my money and said my account was with Merit Bank. I have no recollection of providing my info to Merit Bank. Then I was told the money is on hold and not with Merit Bank yet. I had to provide more info before the funds would be released. This seems like a huge phishing scam and perhaps should be investigated by the banking regulators, since they are a front for transferring money from safe institutions. BE CAREFUL!

Jack was very helpful in assisting me on navigating through the system to transfer money from the high yield account to my personal savings account. The interface is very confusing.

The website was't allowing me log into my account:( The called the help line and with a short wait time, the CSR resolved my problem.

Nate, the representative I spoke to, was extremely helpful and patient and resolved my matter in a timely and efficient manner. He assured me that all of my information was accurate since I was a little concerned that I had perhaps fallen for a scam since I had gotten locked out of my account. His reassurances helped ease my mind and gave me confidence that all was well, and it was just a glitch on my side, trying to login. He got my account unlocked through the proper channels and I was back in business by the time I lovged back onto the site.

When those companies et al that strive to promote their business/es and in order to keep customers happy, one of their first priorities is to focus on hiring their representatives/associates who will actively serve as the first-line communication to the business. It was imperative for me that I contact Raisin today to update my account, and to verify certain movements in that regard. It was my luck that your associate, Mr. Ethan, was the right person that I needed at that time. He was personable- patiently letting me articulate all my reasons for calling. He asked to right questions to quickly allay my concerns. He provided other Raisin banking information that -had I known, I would not have cancelled my account. As a result, I now have the option of continuing with Raisin. He was knowledgeable of Raisin's products when I asked about them. He is a gentleman and an asset to Raisen. Additionally in this regard - the few times in my 3months' experience at Raisin, your associates were always pleasant and helpful.
