This was my first experience of Rapid Travel Test's "Fit to fly" service. The test packages arrived promptly. I then submitted my daughter's test results from my hotel room in Folkestone at 21:30 ahead of a Eurotunnel booking to France the next morning at 07:30. However her certificate did not arrive within the specified 1 hr time period that night.

I stayed up until 23:30 checking my email, and rang the contact number a few times but there was no email and no phone answer - incidentally you only get to see a message stating that the office hours are 9am to 9pm on the "thank you" page AFTER you have submitted your test results. It was silly to try calling but I was pretty desperate to try anything because the lack of certificate was blocking an expensive family trip abroad, to meet up with other family members. Early the next morning I tried calling again, and I re-submitted her test results, and this time I got an email response with the certificate within an hour. However by this point it was too late for my booked ticket.

The lack of overnight response forced me to: pay extra to change our crossing AND to arrive several hours late at the reunion AND to pay out an un-refundable £50 for a local test alternative that I purchased in a panic in the morning, but then never needed to use, because there was no sign that my Rapid Travel Test result would come through.
So although I'm glad the service did eventually come through, it was after 10 hrs, not 1 hr. That overnight service failure caused a load of stress, cost and lost holiday time for our family of 4.

The whole process was really easy and efficient. I will always use this team in the future.

Awful experience; test wasn't returned within an hour; I called and spent 30mins on hold while they tried to get my certificate to fly; nearly missed my flight. Avoid this service.

Excellent company the only one able to offer tests and results in the narrow timescale we had catching ferry to Spain.
We only had a 48 hour time slot we had to be at port 3 hours before then crossing and disembarking 30 hours. No other company could offer and deliver results quick enough Sadly no walk in clinics like here in Spain in Portsmouth, took me a lot of research to find this company that delivered.
Not everyone can be vaccinated for medical reasons.
