I spoke with Jodi at the Edinburgh office on 6 February. She dealt courteously and efficiently with my questions and was very clear in her guidance as to what was required of me.

Jodie has a very pleasant telephone manner and managed to make a really good contact with me. I would hope to be able to deal with her, when next I need to contact RBC Brewin Dolphin in Edinburgh.

- online portal does not allow you to trade
- a mystery what price you are buying stocks at. You give an instruction and later that day you find out?
- invasive and time consuming client due diligence process, making clients (me at least) feel like a criminal

I could not have been more pleased with the response I had fro Leo. He was patient and understanding. He made my day. I was extremely frustrated when I called him and he handled my concerns graciously.

Leo was able to confirm that a recent email was genuinely from Brewin Dolphin and kindly posted my reply via the phone call. He was also able to help my husband with an account query. This was done in a friendly and reassuring manner and put my mind at rest.

My call was answered very rapidly (unusual these days for a Customer Service line !) by Charlotte. My query was understood straight away and Charlotte was very knowledgeable on how to resolve the problem. Charlotte stuck with me and walked me through the actions I needed to do step by step until we were successful. Very polite, respectful, used my first name which I much prefer and efficiently fixed my problem. Good also to feel that it mattered to Charlotte and she was prepared to go at my pace. Well done Charlotte, well done Brewin Dolphin.

Simon was really helpful in telling me how to create a new password which I had difficulties with because I had forgotten the answer to one of my security questions. He was really patient and took me through the whole process
