While we cannot discuss the specifics of an individual client's account in a public forum (and are not sure of your identity), we can say that your description does not align with the performance we have observed across users of our R-50 strategy. Although the R Series has been intentionally defensive in the current market environment and has underperformed offensively this year, it has not resulted in the type of widespread losses described here. As market conditions changed, we proactively recommended that many R Series users transition to our A or S Series strategies, which have been better suited to the current environment.

Earlier this year, we also offered all clients the opportunity to migrate from VPS-based trade copying to our newer, significantly more robust copier infrastructure. System connectivity can materially impact performance, so we encouraged all clients to make that transition.

Regarding refunds, we honor refund requests that fall within the evaluation period and conditions outlined in our agreement. Those guidelines exist so that every client is treated consistently and fairly. Once that evaluation period has expired, we are generally unable to provide refunds.

We would be happy to review your account history with you, including your system configuration, communications with our team, and any outstanding concerns regarding your account or withdrawal request. Please contact us directly so we can investigate your specific situation.

While we are naturally disappointed whenever a client is dissatisfied, we also believe it is important for prospective clients to consider feedback in its proper context. The overwhelming majority of our Trustpilot reviews are five-star reviews, and we are proud of the reputation we have built by serving hundreds of clients over the years.

The January through June period referenced in your review has been one of the lowest-returning six-month periods in our company's history. However, it is equally important to note that during this same period our products experienced zero losses and maximum drawdowns of typically under 1/2 of a percent. That outcome was not accidental—it was by design. Rather than taking excessive risk in an effort to force higher returns during unusually unstable market conditions, our machine-learning models intentionally reduced exposure, trading more conservatively, and prioritized capital preservation.

This philosophy has been central to Ridge since our founding: preserve capital first, pursue returns second. We recognize that this approach may occasionally result in more modest returns during exceptionally difficult market environments. However, we believe that consistently protecting client capital is far more important than chasing short-term performance by assuming substantially greater risk. History has shown that many higher-risk trading strategies produce impressive returns for a period of time, only to suffer catastrophic losses that ultimately end the strategy altogether. We have deliberately chosen a different path—one focused on consistency, disciplined risk management, and long-term sustainability.

Over longer time horizons, our products have historically produced substantially stronger returns than those experienced during this unusually challenging six-month period. As with any investment strategy, we believe performance should be evaluated over complete market cycles rather than isolated periods of exceptional market uncertainty.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Unfortunately, we are unable to locate a current or former client by the name of Patricia Holmes in our records, so we cannot verify the authenticity of this review or address any account-specific concerns.

That said, there are several statements in this review that are inconsistent with our products and how they are represented.

First, at no point do we advertise, promote, or imply returns of 30–40% per month. Achieving returns of that magnitude would require an entirely different level of risk than our products are designed to assume.

Our products are designed to target average returns in the range of approximately 2–3% per month over time. This does not mean that every month will fall within that range, but rather that, over extended periods, our products have generally landed within or slightly above those targets.

Additionally, every new client receives a simple guarantee: if, within the first 90 days, their product has not achieved a net return of at least 3%—a threshold that exceeds the S&P 500's long-term historical average—they are eligible for a refund of their licensing fee. In other words, clients have the opportunity to evaluate our products with limited downside and a clearly defined performance benchmark.

We welcome honest feedback from verified clients and are always available to address legitimate concerns directly and transparently.

We’re currently reaching out to all R-10 users to coordinate a transition to an updated mainframe configuration.

R-10 has performed exceptionally well over the past four years. While 2025 year-to-date returns have been modest, the system has done exactly what it was designed to do in challenging conditions: preserve capital. In an environment where many comparable systems across the industry experienced complete drawdowns, R-10 remained resilient.

That said, we’re not standing still. We’re actively migrating R-10 users to a refined subset of strategies specifically trained for the current market environment. In addition, we’re including a fully complimentary diversification component designed to enhance returns without introducing additional cost or risk.

Hello Kevin,

We’re sorry you weren’t satisfied with the outcome of our systems. Looking at your record, you utilized two of our older algorithmic systems, R-2 (which is still running) and R-2.5 (where you had an issue).

We see that in August and September of last year our team had been reaching out to you because we noticed your MetaTrader platform was disconnected from your brokerage. This happens when brokers disconnect from their servers while the market is closed, typically to perform maintenance. Sometimes those reconnections are not established automatically. We walk all clients through a quick weekly check to be sure they remained connected, and this information is also in our user guide. This has nothing to do with our software, but with the client’s brokerage itself. However, we monitored these connections for clients and would reach out to anybody who we saw was disconnected for any extended duration. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach you as you were out of the country. This is why your R-2.5 system saw a loss.

Your R-2 system is performing excellently and is still running today. Your R-2 has yielded a net return of just shy of 13% with a maximum historic drawdown of only -1.5%. Stupendous results. You could even consider increasing the risk parameters on this system slightly and yield a higher return with only a moderately increased risk. We’re happy to assist you with this if you’d like – just reach out to your account manager.
Regarding your R-2.5 disconnection, we no longer use a VPS / MetaTrader connection setup on any client accounts. We made an internal investment in a cloud-based system to replace it, since we saw too many instances of user-errors such as yours.
