Pete goes above and beyond. Hes very informative and friendly. I highly recommend roofbunk as a product. The quality is outstanding and it is very competitively priced in comparison to other brands on the market. His customer service and after sales are second to none.

After doing a search on google, I found Roof Bunk was the product for me. Pete Roberts was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The roof Bunk is a great tent and I'm sure I will spend some great nights under the stars.

I’ve got both the Adventurer and awning for the side of the car.

I love the Adventurer due to the width. It’s 135cm inside, so the width of an actual double bed. I looked at rivals that were more pricey and about 10-20cm narrower which does make a big difference. The quality is excellent. I’ve used it for three trips now and it’s been faultless. Genuinely takes me less than 2 mins to fold away now and putting it up is almost as quick. I have a bike rack on top which is handy. It’s quite high though, and you definitely need to use the included ladders to get it up there.

The awning is very good quality as well and had been a god send in the recent hot weather we’ve had. I thought I’d be testing its waterproof rating but we had some Sun for a change!

Pete at the company is excellent to deal with and always happy to answer any questions you may have.

100% recommend Roofbunk - absolutely love my Roofbunk Explorer Soft Shell Roof Tent and the customer service provide has been faultless. I wanted to wait a while before leaving a review, in order to be able to use the tent quite a bit before deciding on what to put and I honestly couldn't be any happier with the product. I've had the tent for approx. 6 months now and use it weekly. The quality is great and I've never had any issues whilst using it. The odd questions I had here and there at the start were always promptly answered with help/guidance/tips offered. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and know I definitely made the right decision choosing this tent and company.

I'm on my first trip around Europe with Roofbunk roamer . It catches everyone's eyes on the campsites . Quality of this tent is amazing , opening and closing of the zips to fabric itself. Me and my son had the best sleep in with plenty of room. Pete was amazing from start to finish . If you like sleeping in nature go and treat yourself with a Roofbunk .

I am delighted with my Classic Roofbunk. Bought it last year at the end of September 23. It's absolutely fantastic, could review it until I'd used it a bit.
Also bought the internal thermal insulation pod.
Been to Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia , Glencoe (-12) in December 23. Capenwray.
Pete Roberts was excellent he fitted it to the car showed be what was what so all credit to Pete.
My only criticism is the securing ties I don't think they are good enough as I put a strap on from front to back thus ensuring the Classic does not open at the rear and pop up as it did on the M74 on my first outing. Possibly something Roofbunk can look at, other than that I'm totally delighted with my Classic Roofbunk.

Incidentally whilst at Glencoe Dec 2023 there were two Tentbox classics there the could stand the -12 and left the same night so the insulation pod is a must for that type of cold we were like toast.

I have used the roof tent a few times now, and its great - well made, easy to setup and pack up and great quality.
I picked it up from Roofbunk and the installation was quick and professional.

Pete is a really nice chap, sincere, honest, reliable and friendly. My RoofBunk is great and very cosy/ comfy. I took my car to Pete’s shop and he fitted it for me. I would recommend him and the Roofbunk, I went for the hardshell tent. 👍

Great service! Delivered with great communication from the driver. I’m really happy with my Roofbunk. It’s superb quality and works perfectly.
My only issue was with my low profile roof bars on my Transit Custom. It’s impossible to access the fixing brackets with low profile bars. I’d recommend by 2 additional cross bars (4 in total) installing them closer to the ends of the roofbunk and also purchase a longer 13mm ratchet spanner so that it’s easier to access and tighten the fixing brackets.
Other than this issue, I’m really impressed and definitely recommend RoofBunk!

I have owned the RoofBunk Explorer for around 2 months now, using it on two trips too. The Explorer is an easy to set up piece of kit and is definitely a worthwhile purchase for anyone considering an upgrade from a tent but not wanting to invest in a caravan or campervan.
The Explorer takes two people to lift onto a vehicle but once it’s on the rest of the set up is simple and a one person job.
I also purchased the annex which zips onto the Explorer and makes for a good living/changing area whilst away camping, and is also a good space to sit in when it’s raining outside.
Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone thinking about getting it!

I have had four excursions in my recently purchased roof bunk roamer. It’s really easy to use, it takes seconds to set up which is really handy when it’s raining!

Would 100% recommend RoofBunk to anyone looking for a roof tent. From the beginning Pete was extremely helpful and answered any questions that I had! Pete also helped me find some suitable roof bars after I was told by Halfords that my vehicle couldn’t have them. During the fitting process Pete explained everything to me and made sure I was confident with how to set up the roof bunk before I left. Cannot fault the service I received!

I bought an explorer and what can I say, what a brilliant product I can’t be more impressed with it! The mattress is comfortable, all the materials feel really good quality, the built in light is a really nice touch also and Pete was an absolute please too deal with and has been very helpful with all the questions I had. I’ve used it 3 times now and it’s been an absolute pleasure every time, looking forward too more adventures.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish with Pete. He will go above and beyond to help. Aftercare is better than most, nothing is too much trouble.
We have the Explorer XL. Fantastic product, best quality out there, components, materials all extremely good quality, and huge inside. All this for alot less ££££ than the majority of competitors.
We have just returned from a 10 night break from France and Belgium as a family of 4, its awesome just to be able to pull up somewhere nice and camp for the night rather than stuck on a campsite.
Lots of well thought out touches and accessories that other roof tents don't have, like a small awning rail all round the base of the tent enabling the attachment of camping awnings or sunshades. We highly recommend.

Great company to buy from. Kept us well informed about times and product information. And they also fit the product at no extra charge. Definitely recommend them and the product is off good quality and good value for money. Definitely one to consider when looking for a roof tent.
