Really easy to book online and lots of available time slots. I was able to pick up the machine the next day. You can also choose between 24 and 48 hours.
The price was a lot cheaper than paying someone to clean them.
Pick up easy using the locker system at Tesco which meant I could collect early morning and the rug doctor carpet cleaner was in the same place and easy to purchase at the till
It wasn’t too heavy and fitted easily into my car
The machine is easy to set up and use
Brought cream carpets up wonderfully clean and smelling fresh and was able to clean 3 rooms as I used the max professional detergent ( they look like new) and they dried within a couple of hours

I've just booked a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner for the weekend. The booking process online was very straightforward and simple. I've used these machines before on several occasions and have always been delighted with their performance. Price for a 48 hour hire is very reasonable.

Hose pipe for cleaner itself was leaking so the hope pipe for hand tool and also had a little crack so it doesn’t suck the water from my sofa properly not very satisfied

Mostly amazing product and self service allowed me to pick it up in the evening from the local supermarket store!!

Cleaner did its job and booking was easy but took Tesco staff about 30 minutes to get it out of faulty locker. Needs sorting.

Great, rug doctor worked well on my beige carpets. Good collection and drop off too.

To be clear, the carpets cleaned up beautifully but getting to that point wasn't brilliant. Firstly, there was no pet cleaner fluid, then we couldn't get into the locker. The staff at Tescos didn't know what we should do, so after a bit of faffing we found the Rug Doctor customer services online. Thankfully there was a friendly voice on the end and on a Sunday. He said there was a problem with that particular locker and redirected us to another supermarket a 10 min drive away where we successfully retrieved the carpet cleaner.

Rectified quite promptly but caused a delay.

Cord not long enough to reach other side of room. Otherwise did the job well.

Absolutely brilliant value for money and did amazing job on carpet in my new house

The upholstery attachment is a complete waste of time as 1) it is incredibly difficult to attach and detach and 2) didn’t do anything! Oh and yes….because the upholstery hose hadn’t fitted properly it started pumping liquid all over the carpet!
There was no leaflet in the locker either as described in the videos!
Quite heavy to lift into the car!

The machine was dirty and did not function properly. Went to chat line and told an agent would get back to me 2 hours later nothing on chat line email or phone. tried ringing them several times the number would not ring although connected. I would not go anywhere near them again service is diabolical i wish there was a minus in the stars. I am absolutely disgusted with Rug Doctor
