Sold Supposably Stainless Steel Plasters Trowels however on receiving the trowels I checked with a magnet and all are magnetic thus not "Austenitic Stainless Steel" no grade of stainless is indicated on the any of the tools these grade must be either Ferritic, Martensitic, Duplex, Precipitation-hardening , are magnetic thus will rust. Not possible to contact I Amazon feel this is sharp practice and misleading just stating Stainless Steel when in fact they cannot claim singularly Stainless but must show a Grade of Stainless steel, as except norm is that Stainless does not rust. Never buy a gift card direct from Amazon. Bought one for £50 to give to a friend and it didn’t deduct the amount from her order, Amazon refuse to refund as they say the card has been redeemed inspite of the fact that it did not deduct the £50 from her order. The most embarrassing gift I have ever given!
Their delivery service is absolutely nightmare
The delivery service is just getting worse every week. Not worth to order stuff and pay monthly the amazon prime anymore. If you can, shop and support local shops, every penny counts.
Beware of Stock Photography
I like Amazon, I have Prime so get free deliveries on most items, on average I have three deliveries a week so I consider myself to be a loyal customer. However recently I ordered a DIY item and on arrival whilst looking similar was not right for the job. The actual photo on Amazon’s site was a stock one. This has also occurred with another item. I am now awaiting a replacement and hope this time it fits. Amazon needs to make sure the items on their site match the description and photo.
Amazon, good varied selections at competitive pricing
Never had an issue, good selection and price ranges. They also have a pre-owner/refurbished dept, used them for a couple of iPads, looked almost brand new, no VAT as refurbished items, tax receipt anyhow provided.

They always say it was handed to resident when it never is. It is put in wood shed but even if we're in they don't knock the door. Perhaps they are all over worked and are delive too many parcels.

Amazon make impossible too complain, I have an ongoing refund issue with them and their customer service based in India is useless tney just waste your time. This time I decided too go direct too their head office, looking up the email address for complaints I submitted my complaint detailing every issue. Finally I posted my email which was bounced back with thee usual " this address does not accept incoming emails !

Ordered a laptop for kids Xmas presents, waited in all day Thursday, Amazon falsely claimed attempted delivery - doorbell footage showed this to be untrue. Package finally arrived Friday when opened it contained pens, a diary and pediasure powder. Clearly opened and resealed. They highlight the fact there’s expensive goods inside by asking the driver to take a password on delivery - maybe DBS check the thieves you call drivers

Bought some key rings from WWmily on Amazon UK for delivery today, using Prime. Thought I’d check the tracking to see when it would arrive and now it says Monday! Desperately needed these this weekend as we leave Monday morning.
Called Amazon CS, who said that I ‘should’ve checked my email or order after ordering to check the REAL shipping date’?! I told them how ridiculous that was as the item states that it will be delivered the next day, so why would I then check an email for a different date?! They couldn’t answer this and just said the same thing again. VERY frustrating. What’s the point of Prime shipping if it cannot be trusted?

Amazon has done nothing but lie about delivery times refuse to refund faulty items and the company in general can no longer be trusted as reputable. In a recent call to a returns manager named Ali he stared mocking me singing alice in wonderland and making racist remarks towards me and totally refused to co operate accusing me of trying to keep a fault item and get a refund !!! I tried to report him but they all stick together so I will never use Amazon again dishonest fraud company who stole over £200 of my money and left a 7 year old with no birthday present truly disgusting company to be avoided at all costs !!!

Amazon used to be a good option, but now I try to avoid them.
They’ve got a delivery service that makes Evri look competent. The driver just throws my parcel near the door after making up all sorts of lies.
I say in the delivery notes, please put in the shed. Ignored.
Do they knock the door or press my doorbell? Nope! They just chuck and run.
Are they honest on the delivery descriptions? No. Handed to customer. I don’t think so! They just chuck and run without even pressing the bell.
There are still alternatives to Amazon, I’m going to start using them more.
Unable to fix incorrect delivery location
I recently moved house and now at my new location Amazon keep delivering my packages to the right street and village but to the wrong house. I have spent several hours trying to get them to do something about this but this seems like the impossible task and they have no way of correcting this. If someone from Amazon UK sees this then it would be great to hear back about how to fix this. I buy hundreds of items from Amazon each year but I'm going to have to stop uness this is resolved. Surely they can fix this simple issue? I have seen some suggestion there is a IT system which gives them the physical location on a Sat Nav - perhaps this is set to the wrong location and the cause of the error? This must be costing Amazon but they just dont seem able to do anything other than offer a refund. Help!

I was standing at my front door, door open. The driver didn't even approach. Amazingly the driver handed my parcel to the resident, even though I was at my door.
No idea where is is, Amazon customer service useless, and fed me the usual lies.

Amazon’s Bully Tactics & Poor Delivery Service in a busy residential apartment…
I live in a busy residential apartment block with a concierge, and I have always given Amazon clear instructions: if I’m not home, leave parcels with concierge. This is not happening.
On more than one occasion, parcels were left on the floor outside my door without anyone ringing the bell or handing it to concierge. One time, I was at home and received a notification saying the parcel was “handed to resident” — when in reality it was just dumped on the floor. Luckily, I was home that day, otherwise it could have been stolen.
Instead of addressing these delivery failures, I received a shocking email from Amazon threatening to close my account, accusing me of claiming non-deliveries. This feels like bullying. It is not my fault their drivers don’t follow instructions. Amazon should employ drivers who deliver parcels properly and responsibly.
To make matters worse, when I did receive an item that didn’t work, Amazon complained about that too — as though customers aren’t allowed to report faulty products.
I have now decided to cancel my Prime membership. After years of being a loyal customer, I find Amazon’s treatment unacceptable. They should be holding their drivers accountable instead of punishing customers who simply expect parcels to be delivered correctly.

Three months ago I ordrred a photo for my Dad's funersl from photobox. It was delivered by Amazon but they just left in on the ground floor of my apartment block.
Photobox was unable to trace who
delivered this.
Amazon failed in its delivery and given the nature of the delivery this is totally unacceptable. I will never use them, directly or indirectly.
Amazon Prime locker fluck up
Ordered an Amazon fire stick to be collected from a nearby Amazon locker. I have Amazon prime so my order was delivered to the Amazon locker the next morning. The instructions from Amazon told me I needed to take my order number and show proof of identification at the locker (this is impossible as these lockers are just lockers 🤷♂️) the locker requires a 6 figure number to open the door where the order is located unfortunately this number was not sent. I chatted on line to Amazon who after implying I didn’t know what I was doing and after my insistence checked my confirmation email and had to agree the was no mention of the 6 figure code needed to unlock the door. I requested a refund and purchased the items click and collect from my local Argos with no issues. Going forward I’ll cancel my Amazon Prime and take my business elsewhere.
