I purchased an Odyssey Mallet Putter and developed a significant rattle not long after. Showed a sales rep there was no abuse and he agreed to get it replaced, never happened! Contacted Corporate and got nothing but the run around and nothing done. Will never purchase anything from this pathetic company again. Only satisfaction is i am along time clubbuilder and absolutely slammed them on social media!

Quantum Max Driver uses Lead Tape

Callaways Quantum Max Driver can not be swing weighted without LEAD TAPE!. I traded in my perfectly swing weighted Elyte driver for the brand new high tech Quantum Max With the high thech LEAD TAPE option for swing weight driver adjustment. Callaway does not offer rear weight kits and suggests LEAD TAPE. I’m out 2 drivers and a lot of cash.

I wish I had read the reviews first, I ordered a jacket on the 8th November, website states 3 - 7 days delivery ( yeah right ) after about 10 days I emailed them to find out where my order was, I received an immediate I.A response stating some items may take longer, so, waited another few days still nothing, another email another A.I response, but this time promised a shipping refund, which I received a couple of days later, anyway after several emails I eventually received my order, 15 full working days after the original order date. NOT GOOD

Callaway quality standards dipping.

I purchased a set of Elyte irons, which were supposed to be standard length, loft and lie. After playing with them for a few rounds I noticed that they were about a club shorter and the setup seemed off. I took them to golf galaxy where I purchased them to check the loft, and lie angle on them. Each club was off on the lie angle up to 2 plus degrees. I am very disappointed in Calaways quality control. My bag is full of Elyte irons and driver, mini driver, rescue, and wedges. I’ve played Callaway since 1996 and the quality has always been spot on. The tech that bent my clubs back to standard said they are seeing this more often. Come on Callaway you make and charge for a premium product. Get your quality standards up to your prices! All I can do is shake my head when I think about how you have let your quality standards slip.

Do not order from Callaway Europe.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service.

3/4 months I’ve been waiting for my order. They do not answer the phone, they do not reply to emails, they do not engage on social media, it’s honestly a joke. I don’t know what to do. They’ve taken £1k of my money and then ignored me. I am about to explore what legal actions I can take as I’m honestly disgusted.

I can't believe the customer service…

I can't believe the customer service for Callaway. They have been the absolute best for both my husband and I. Time and time again, they went the distance for us personally. I have a scramble coming up, they were able to replace my broken driver so quickly. I really appreciated the fact that they went out of their way to make sure I had my club for the event. I will only buy Callaway from here on out. They have two customers for life!

Placed an order on 1 August (£57)…

Placed an order on 1 August (£57) hadn’t received it, chased it up, it’s now 10 August & been advised it has been shipped but could take 2 weeks, I’ve paid £7 postage which must be pidgeon class. They’ve advised if it doesn’t arrive in 2 weeks I can apply for a refund. I think this Company is probably a scam. Do not use. Ref WCA890749

I like my clubs, but Calloway sales and service embarrasing

Here is an email I sent to Calloway leadership. No surprise I didn't receive a response.

In recent months my wife and I had a significant birthday and we agreed we were going to buy new golf clubs. We always like Calloway and were inclined to purchase new Calloway clubs; so after working through club fitting sessions, we decided separately to make our new clubs Calloway.

We each purchased woods and irons separately, and from different sources (separate story) but in 5 different purchase transactions, Calloway only got an order right 1 time. Here’s the list:
1. Retailer/fitter-clubs were shipped with wrong grips. Grips backordered 3 weeks
2. Retailer/fitter-driver, 7 wood received as ordered.
3. Calloway sales (800#) - 1st set shipped to a made up address. I probably should have checked address on invoice but there was no reason to expect they could get my address so wrong. I was sent another shipment.
4. Calloway fitting at local course- ordered driver and 5-wood specifically requesting mid-size grip to match the rest of my set. Clubs received with standard grip.
5. Retailer/fitter - ordered set of LEFT handed woman’s irons and hybrid. Calloway shipped RIGHT handed clubs.

We have spent over $4000 on new golf equipment that has been nothing but frustrating. The game is hard enough without having to waste time with additional trips to retailers and exchanges.

My set is still not complete. Should I expect another screwup? or should I look to Taylor Made for the remaining pieces?

I pre ordered the Maverick 25 complete…

I pre ordered the Maverick 25 complete set golf clubs in mid June, for dispatch in mid July. Not been able to track the order online at any point but just put it down to being a pre order.

Last week I received a discount code for the Callaway website, enquired about being able to apply said discount code. Or potentially cancelling order and applying to a new purchase of the same clubs. Still no answer to the question and only seem to respond to emails once a week?!

Then today after returning from holiday and expecting to have arrived home to new clubs, I’ve not even had an email to say they’ve been delayed. So I called the customer service line. They were obviously working from home. Gave order details, and was told I’d have an email within 10-15 minutes on the status of my order. Guess what? NOTHING.

If I had the option to cancel online I would have a long time ago. They’ll certainly be getting cancelled in the morning. But they’ll probably mess that up too.

I’ve had some really bad experiences in the past with customer service, but the Callaway experience is 100% the worst. I’m literally trying to give them my money and it’s like they don’t want it! Unbelievable.

I can’t speak about their equipment as I’ve never played golf before. But if you’re thinking about buying Callaway clubs don’t go direct to them. It will not end well!

Still happy to keep pushing subscription emails down my throat too!

Do you even know what customer service is?!

Except they haven’t refunded. They keep saying they will and are ‘chasing the finance department’ but 7 weeks later no refund. And no communication either when we chase. We’ve now had to escalate and report as a disputed transaction with my son’s bank. What a waste of time and money for everyone involved (including Callaway) - all because Callaway seem unable to process a simple refund for an order they accept was never delivered.

Warning

If you are seeing this. Do not order clubs from callaways website. I have waited over 10 weeks at this point for my clubs to ship and after my 4th call to customer service to see what the hold up is, I have just been notified that the clubs are out of stock. I don’t understand what kind of system they have over there, but this is flat out ridiculous. I was given dates ranging from mid April to beginning of June for delivery, and when I complained about the delay, they offered me a whopping 5 dollars off my next order. Never order from these people they simply do not care.

I expected better from Callaway

I expected better from Callaway. I ordered a new club and it came today, except the club did not have a removable shaft like shown in the picture on its website, and like the older model of the club had. Life goes on, so I went to initiate a return. Unfortunately, the website was not working. I could not get my order history to come up. Obviously they were having website problems. So I called their customer service. Oops, I waited more than an hour on hold and didn’t reach them. So I hung up and sent an email. I’m sure I’ll eventually get to return the club, but I frankly expected a lot more from Callaway.

Worst Experience ever

I used to love Callaway, but after the month, I will not being doing business with them again. A year ago, amazing customer service, today-WTF! Took advantage of their trade-in program in March. My clubs were received on March 24th. To this day, I still have not received any credit. Contacted Callaway numerous times. Phone customer service useless hours on hold and never once spoke to someone. Used the "call me back" feature, never was called back. Out of the many emails I wrote, only three answered. Form letter stating my trade was initiated on 4/14/24 and would be completed in 1-3 business days. Look at the date of this review. Still waiting........ Callaway got my money and hundreds of dollars of my clubs, good day of fleecing from Callaway.com. I really liked Callaway before. As of today 5/18/25, still no trade credit. Still receiving the same form letter. Bank had to get involved, funny, Callaway responded to them pretty quickly. Sadly, I received the wrong refund amount on 5/19/24, and I am dealing with that now. However, the story's moral is that Callaway ignored me for two months, but once the bank pulled the money-Callaway responded to them.

Horrible Customer Servive

I have been trying to reach Calloway and return four polo shirts that were extremely tight fitting. I have been on hold for over an hour. I used the call back feature and when I did get someone was told they would email me the return shipping label. I was also told to use the return feature in my order. There is no return feature and the label was never emailed. I will never buy anything from them again.

No Customer Service To Speak Of

I’m extremely put off by Callaway Apparel customer service. You would think a customer’s first order would be a matter of some importance to a company. I ordered 3 shirts for an upcoming golf outing over a period of 3 days. There is a dress code and polos are required. The order was shipped on Monday 4/20 and expected by Saturday 4/26 with FedEx ground. 2-7 days. Only weather or an accident should prevent a package taking more than that from South Carolina to Colorado. The outing is the following Wednesday 4/30 through Friday. On Wednesday 4/23 the package arrives in Grove City, OH and proceeds to sit there for 4 days. I-7O is right next to Grove City, OH. Convenient, but apparently not convenient enough for FedEx. Friday 4/25 I start a series of attempts to try and get in touch with Callaway customer service to have them change the shipping speed (only the shipper can change the speed). Perhaps the package may make it by Tuesday evening before golf on Wednesday if I’m able to speak with someone at Callaway. No dice on either Friday or Monday. Their entire CS system is now AI and no one will answer the CS phone number. My email responses were all AI and nothing has been solved and I have yet to speak to an actual human being. The shirts won’t be here on time. Now I have to run out sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and spend more money on items I’ve already paid for. No help from Callaway CS. None. Zero. Perhaps if I would have spoken with a REAL person we’d be in a different spot. As of now, I will no longer order from a company that has no interest in speaking with their customers. This will be my first order with Callaway Apparel and my very LAST order with any Callaway branch. Nor will I ever recommend another Callaway product.

I am missing a club from my order

I am missing a club from my order. I tried to call Callaway Customer Service but was put on hold for 45 minutes then disconnected! I tried again the next day was and on hold for over an hour.
They have no customer service. I tried to message on their web site and that is not working either.
This makes me worry about the warranty on their clubs if I cannot contact the company.
I finally messaged their Facebook page and received a response from customer service that they are very busy will contact me in 3-5 days! I had a problem with a Taylor Made driver and they answered the phone and had a replacement out the next day. With Callaway you will be waiting for weeks just to contact them and then who knows how bad their warranty service will be! Callaway has gone downhill fast.

A broomstick putter order direct from Callaway Golf Canada

I ordered a broomstick putter online on 12/3/2024 (Order Number: #8878889). The price is $479. No updates for a very long time......in the 10 days between the Boxing Day sale the price was dropped to $429......
I made a follow up call on January 6th....a staff member answered my call and followed up on my order and also mentioned that a $50 credit would be discussed with the manager.
On January 10th, I received an email from Mr. Maxwell Pepper of Customer Support regarding the status of my order. I responded to an email that day to discuss the $50 credit and received no response…... I re-sent a follow-up email again on January 15th…...

On January 17th, my credit card was charged $503.99 and the status show order shipped. Ends up, I received the shipment on January 20th. I guess they will never credit that $50 back.....
