If I can put as zero i will. Seller sent items totally doffer from the picture and return/refund is such a pain. The return pickup time only option was 10am-8pm! And i waited the whole day without any attempt, status shown as driver attempted but failed and will retry another day! And after multiple times speaking with Shopee agent, it was not resolved despite assuring me driver will pick up next day, specific time etc.
If there is -* i will really give no star at all not even worth 1*.
I had purchased using cashback voucher which get me 252 coins and received defective product. I had rrquested for a refund and seller offer for me $3 discount. I accepted the offer as i check the product since usable but of coz i do not know how long it will last. After accepting the offer and i realised not only i can make a review for my 7 coins even my cashback 252 coins is gone.
I contacted and chat with the customer service staff Elton. He told me this is company policy but it is not stated in the T&C. This policy is just to protect shopee and seller which is unfair for buyer like us. It did not have any pop up to notify us that 7coins and cashback coins will be gone if we accept the offer from seller. They only able to reinstate cashback voucher again which i mean whats the point for it if i am not able to get discount on my next purchase with my coins that should be given to me.
Since unable to get back my 252 coins, i requested for discount voucher instead of cashback which is another alternative, at less i still can save abit of money for my next purhcase but was rejected and said only able to reinstate of what i had use as it is company policy. That is ridiculous. Shopee waive off my coins and now return with cashback voucher again instead of return with alternative discount voucher as compensate for my lost coins that is waive off.
Customer service Elton, just cut the chat off and my problem is not solve with alot of frustration for being cheated of the coins that we supposed to get.

If there is a zero star, I would select that. Many branded items are out there, buying is so easy, for example for my recent bad experience, Vinda deluxe toilet paper. I bought because it showed how good and how thick it is. I wanted to check the quality, opened one roll, tore two pieces to check, to my horror, the quality is so bad, so thin and broke easily. I wanted to return and refund. It was rejected. I requested for a return and refund again and still under review. Never never trust the advertisement completely.

After more than three rounds of explaining to Customer Service (with screenshots, evidence, and the patience of a monk), they still confidently insisted everything was perfect. Truly inspiring levels of gaslighting—please teach a masterclass.
And just when I thought Shopee couldn’t surprise me further—the delivery service! 🌟
Clear delivery instructions? Who needs those! Instead, they deliver to random floors and send a rude and aggressive delivery guy who interrogates customers simply because he couldn’t read basic English instructions. Revolutionary service model. 👍
But wait, there’s more—the refund magic trick! 🪄
A promised refund of around $9 to my MariBank credit card since 10th November that still hasn’t arrived, despite multiple reminders. Incredible suspense. Who needs Netflix when you have Shopee’s “Maybe Tomorrow” refund service?
At this point, I’m convinced Shopee is conducting a social experiment to see how far they can push customers before they give up. Spoiler alert: I’m done. 🚫

I wish I could give 0 stars!!!!! Their customer service is trash and good for nothing but repeating the same " we will escalate, we will forward to relevant team" garbage speech. Some even have the nerve to say "your feedback has been noted". I am not giving you feedback. I'm asking for a resolution to my problem which is non-delivery of item that I paid for and the fact that the estimated delivery date has changed every day and the item is never out for delivery. In fact, my order has not moved for 5 days now since it was handed to shopee's low-grade courier SPX!
Do not bother calling their hotline either because the agent on the line who sounds like an outsource from overseas, will just tell you the same garbage that the matter has been escalated. Nobody is doing anything to get customers their orders! nothing but lip service to placate the customer. I will continue to chase and press the speed up delivery button till you incompetent expletives deliver what I paid for!!!!
I will also be making a police report against Shopee, SPX and reporting your shady practices to CASE! Platforms like shopee should not be allowed to get away with deceiving and stealing from customers!
Another warning, please take regular screenshots of your order details because customer service lied to me several times that item has not reached Singapore hence the delay. I have a screenshot that item reached Singapore and handed over to SPX 5 days ago now!!!! Since then they claim they are still sorting and item has not moved! How will we know our order was not lost or stolen by SPX staff? Screenshoot everything because shopee customer service lied to me.
Shopee releases a voucher that allows one to redeem 8$ upon a 32$ spend. Twice the voucher still had a red button that stated "CLAIM" when I did claim it-it automatically stated all redeemed. Generally if all vouchers are fully redeemed the fully redeemed sign shows up- and one does not see the CLAIM sign at all-this saves the customer from clicking on it to be just told it is fully redeemed----these two times, despite there being only the CLAIM sign and me clicking on it -I was told it was all redeemed after I clicked it-this is just so unprofessional of Shopee because it is such a waste of the customer's time. Since it happened 2x-it makes me wonder if the voucher really exists
Delivery service have been ridiculous.
Also, made a purchase earlier. Notified by bank that amount has been deducted by Shopee and yet on the app it states pending payment. Spoke to live agent and was completely useless, only said to wait for updates.
Lately my experience wihh Shopee has been really bad and inconvenient.
I am very disappointed with Shopee’s service. Their “next-day delivery” promise is a complete hoax — my item was not delivered even after three days. I had to request a refund, and even that process took time with no clear updates.
Shopee also failed to resolve the issue within their own stated timeline. I tried contacting their customer service several times, but there was no proper reply or follow-up from their agents despite my repeated messages.
Overall, this experience was very frustrating and unprofessional. Shopee seriously needs to improve its delivery reliability and customer service responsiveness.

I honestly cannot complain enough about Shopee. They fail to protect buyers, and equally fail to protect sellers — including their own collection point partners. There is zero sense of customer recovery or accountability. It feels like nothing more than a profit-driven platform.
First, one of my parcels went missing and my complaint was abruptly closed with no proper explanation, just a photo of the package. Then, a few weeks later, another parcel that was supposed to be sent to my selected collection point was instead redirected to another address of mine without my consent.
To make matters worse, the delivery driver — who usually drops parcels without contact — decided to call this time. He rushed me to reply and confirm delivery, clearly to secure “acceptance” over text and avoid responsibility. Only after checking did I realise the delivery went to the wrong address.
I informed Shopee immediately that the address used was not the one I selected, and that the address was only used for my seller account. As I am currently in the middle of moving (which is why my store has been on vacation for the past 1.5 months), this error could have been easily resolved with proper service recovery or redelivery. Instead, they ignored the issue and closed my case again.
Even as a seller, my experience with Shopee’s support was disappointing. When I was new and needed guidance, the customer service team was not knowledgeable enough to provide proper advice — they simply told me to ship my first order using any courier. As a result, the tracking never synced to my account, and it took almost a year for my order income to finally be released to me.
Truly the worst customer experience. Shopee seriously needs to review its support standards and commitment to both buyers and sellers

yappypets sells worm-infested pet foods, many customers have kena and tried to raise a complaint, but not only did the sm team of yappypets and infamous sherylwoo continuously cyberbullied the customer, yp also blocked any chance of customer from reaching out. When it comes to badly behaved sellers, Shopee msilences any truthful reviews, and disallow any chance of refunds. The food not only caused detrimental suffering to pet, but caused great sadness to the family. Bottom line Shopee is no longer a customer-centric place, they’d rather protect abusive personalities than see to safety of their customers and accountability of their sellers/logistics partners. Whether it is yappypets or Shopee, deal at your own risk!

I am a customer and seller on shopee.
1st as a seller i will says shopee has high commission charges compare to other platforms. 2nd their shipping charges are not consistent. For the same item same qty. I am charged 2.03 at time and 4.30 at time.. very little profit from selling in shopee.sg , so i will need to increase the selling price for item i sell in shopee.sg.
As a customer, shopee is convenient but when there is refund or return of product, it a pain.
I bought $150 of shopee.sg vouchers from shopback . When i received defective product bought using these vouchers, shopee do not refund me the voucher value. Only refunded the cash value. I realise it when i am refunded 0.99$ for an 1
$11 item so i reach out to customer service. They were helpful to help. But i have to chase after them every few days to remind them to return me my vouchers...this is wasting so much time.

This seller took a long time to ship my item, contacted them and they said it is fulfilled by shopee warehouse. Shopee confirmed it was false. Seller had lied to me. I said I would be launching a report and seller threatened to report me for "false accusations". Told shopee about this, did absolutely nothing at all. Could not even accede to my compensation request. How disappointing.
