Very thourough course,
The lady was friendly, helpful and made everyone at ease.
Best first aid course ive done.

Very nice provider.
The course was satisfactory. However being a lecturer and an assessor, I didn't find her teaching method was all that good.
Everyone has their own teaching style but i felt that there was a great deal of PowerPoint presentation which was read out by the provider and some of the people on the course could be seen looking at their own phones and not really interested in what was being said.

A great deal of the time was listening to what she had dealt with or what ailments she had. Some scenarios would have been fine but it was non stop.

We did do some practical. Again I didn't find that the provider checked on everyone's ability and looked more interested being on her mobile phone.

We didn't recap on the previous days teaching to see if everyone has understood what had been taught.

Asked about spinal injuries and how to do a log roll if absolutely needed as I am involved with numerous sport and this is why I was attending the course.
Answer was " read the book". No practical!

Im not sure if I came away knowing exactly what I should do if I had to attend to a First Aid situation.

Have been on a better course three years ago with St John's.

Donna's knowledge and ability to convey that knowledge to all was perfect. As an experienced former primary school teacher she pitched everything well to all our school's staff - pace; depth of information; response to questions; personal touch with anecdotes from her experience etc.

Ease of procedures,I have used SJA in the past many times and found the courses very informative.

The instructor was brilliant in the way he taught the course and his general demeanor.

A fantastic course covering all the main elements of First Aid, from cuts and bruises to CPR. The course was taught by an excellent teacher, and run at a pace that allowed the class to ask lots of questions. Practical demonstrations were practiced by all class attendees. The facility is clean and organised with a canteen space for breaks. The staff were friendly and encouraging. I would recommend this course to anyone who needs First Aid for the workplace, Sport or Day to Day life.

I really enjoyed this one day Course.... I learnt a lot and it was very informative...our trainer, Raymond, was very nice and demonstrated everything perfectly.. I feel more confident after this one than I did after my first one. Hopefully I'll never need to utilise what I learnt but I'm glad that I have the information stored if I ever do. So thank you Raymond
