Opened my first support ticket with…

Opened my first support ticket with Skystra a few days ago. Compared to previous hosting companies, they actually helped. The bar in the hosting industry is pretty low, but at least these guys were there when I needed them. That’s all I need from any company I deal with.

They helped me out a lot

I've had my website up for a few years, really easy stuff. In the last while, I've been working on updating it and have hired a number of developers to help me do it. Just like everyone else, come to find out these developers don't actually do much, and cost you a ton of money, but especially time!!! My website was completed, but had a few bugs. I asked Skystra if they knew anyone, they didn't, but offered to help with their new service. Thank god, because it's all done, and now I can work on my website again, and not with developers. Thanks S!

Great Service and Fast Website Finally

This one is a bit of a long one but here it goes: I had constant problems at my old hosting company and they kept blaming it on me and all I could see were my invoices and payments getting bigger and service getting worse. I came across Skystra a couple of times on Twitter and Facebook then it turned out one of my blogging friends used them and always had nice things to say about them on her own blog. I wrote their team with a couple of questions, kind of nervous because I didn't know how migrating my blog would be and I thought I would screw everything up making it go down or offline, the guy Marc who replied to in like 2 seconds on on their Sales form told me they do the migration and that made me feel much better :- ). Turns out they also migrate you for free so that was nice to save a bit while I maintained the contract at my old host and transitioned to Skystra's hosting. The migration couldn't have gone better, their team migrated my blog in a couple of hours and gave me constant updates which took a lot of my nervousness away. True to their word, my blog did stay up the whole time it was being migrated and then their team even helped me get something called premium caching setup that really made my blog load way faster than before that was really awesome. I had a little bit of trouble logging into my WordPress dashboard the day after it was migrated but they were on it and helped, it turned out my old host had a put plugin in my website that was creating login errors (go figure), but Skystra's support team fixed it in a couple of minutes and off I was. I've had my blog hosted there now for about a year and everything hums along like a bird. I am very happy with their service it honestly is night and day compared to what I had before. I also feel confident writing reviews and recommending them through my blog to my blogging friends and community because I know their service is worth it and their costs are more than fair. This is my thank you to the Skystra team to making my blog transition just that much easier and keeping my blog running fast, thank you Marc for your quick response and the fabulous team for giving me such great service.

Unprofessional, arrogant, disrespectful

I was seriously considering moving my website hosting to Skystra based on a high recommendation from a friend in Canada. My pre-sale experience was beyond bad.
When I asked why they don't offer a real time support even via chat, only email - the reply was along the lines "we don't and never will as it doesn't suit us, so if that's what you want go elsewhere, goodbye". Quite arrogant, yet I replied that I was still interested and asked for more info. Silence. No reply, I raised three or four pre-sale tickets - they all have been deleted from their dashboard as soon as they were created. The last one didn't even generate a confirmation email. My direct emails to the company remained unanswered. my email was blocked.

YES - that was my true experience with your sales team in Australia, Skystra. It was about a pre-sale enquiry so of course, I'm not your customer (and never will).

Skystra's reply is really disappointing and also revealing their self-centred culture. Personal attacks and backlash are not the way to respond to a negative review. A respectable company takes responsibility for the bad experience of the customer, client or a potential customer, and asks the person to contact them directly with further information and to resolve the issue. That's clearly something beyond this company's customer relationship charter.

TrustPilot has verified my review as genuine. Skystra has not contacted me in spite of the verification I provided to them, has not apologised and has not revised their attacking reply.

I do not troll, do not post fake reviews and do not suffer from a mental disorder. Grow up Skystra!

This person never was and never will be a customer. This review speaks for itself. The state of mind of this individual is pretty questionable and seems intent on trolling. We really hope this person finds the mental health help they truly need.

Huge Improvement in Service and Security

I got hacked at my old host and lost years of content it was a total mess, my old host wanted to charge me $300 per site to clean up a mess they had started. I came across Skystra on Twitter, someone named Marc reached out and they fixed everything for me, literally everything. I got all my data back and sites secured. This team was a total god send and real troopers, highly recommend them, I hope their prices stay as good as their service it's definitely night and day from what I had before and they deserve this 5 on 5 review after how much they helped me out of a serious jam. Thanks guys.

Moved my two blogs to them from my old host who was trying to charge me 300% what I had originally paid. Got a way better deal and they did the migration for me, happy new customer here!

Really awesome team and hosting...everything really sucked at my old host Site ground and a guy from Skystra's support team reached out on Twitter, they moved my sites for free and they go way faster now...they also answer my questions so that's nice too

Wanted to try their software but checked…

Wanted to tr their software but checked out their testimonials websites (2 of them have HELLO WORLD) on them!

I messaged on Twitter to ask if they could offer me 1 email account on a 30 day trial as I was not convinced by their testimonials and as i have many emails and several websites I was not willing to commit to a move without proof that they could deliver.

They simply blocked me.
Tells me what I need to know.

They have written i got mad which is completely false, they did not reply to the request they simply blocked me.

Most software companies offer a trial of some kind to prove their service at which point you sign up and pay, given the number of emails required and number of sites without a test switching service on such flimsy references was not an option.

Never has been a customer, and never will be a customer. This person got stuck with inferior service level companies, got jaded, and then got "mad" when he didn't get what he wanted from us (free service), hence this "review", because they think their non-customer opinion actually matters.

We're super happy this nightmare person is not our customer. It lets us focus on our actual customers and give them the high level of service they deserve.

Worth every penny

I had quite the situation with my last host infecting my business website with malware and emails bouncing...it was a mess. Skystra's onboarding team had my website and emails moved over in 40 minutes and all of the malware cleaned out within the hour of signing up. They did the move and malware cleanup for free, my site and emails work great now. This team truly deserves every single penny and good praise, I'm a customer for life.

Dependable and Communicative

I had referred a lot of clients to my old host only to be disappointed after many years of loyalty. Skystra moved one of my client site that was having real trouble quickly & efficiently, I found the way they communicated to be very involved and personalized. I like them and have since moved several clients over, will surely be migrating the rest of them over in due time as well.
