Funny how Trustpilot has this company as a 4.2 stars and every single review has a 1 star and claiming they are a bait and switch scam company... seems like a scam sticking up for a scam. Then the people at smartcheapfares tout what a great rating they have at Trustpilot when they are called con artists by me. They ripped off one of my loved ones today when she was trying to catch a flight back west to see her sick mother who went in hospital. Sad that companies like this are allowed to operate and its equally as sad that companies like Trustpilot will prop up pieces of crap companies like this for the right dollar amount. Look for yourself at how many bad ratings they have and how they could be a 4.2.......................

The people are not to blame for this website and how it is deceiving.
Emily and Vincent were fine to deal with. I was very unhappy that I booked through this site and will NOT use it again. Read the fine print.

When I originally booked my ticket they told me I was able to have a carry on & I thought it was added, however today when I received my ticket, it shows “No carry on bag.” It was difficult dealing with customer service and nothing was resolved.

My son who is in college in another state needed a plane ticket home. He found this site and booked a ticket and received a confirmation email with the agreed itenerary and price. A few hours later a man with this company called to say there was an issue with the return flight and my son would need to pay an additional fee to book a different flight for different days. My son said the dates are not negotiable and asked for a refund instead and the man said no refunds. I then called to see what the issue was and the man began yelling at me that there are no refunds and if we dispute the charges he will have my son blacklisted from flying any airline. I asked how it is legal to take his payment information and send a confirmtion email for an agreed flight and price then not give him the opportunity to authorize a change in the agreement before charging him. We will dispute this with the bank and in the meantime had to book the exact same flight through another website.

I made a really mistake to book a fly with this guy and this agency. He booked a fly for March instead of February and we found out just at the airport. I did mentioned many times I need for February and he said yes and I didn't paid attention enough to realize that he maid the mistake. And he also charged extra money because he said that the fly wasn't confirmed,but at the airport the extra money didn't show up.
Also the agents are talking alot and really hard to let us talk.And they are so sarcastic,after every word I said he used to say"îhî".
Very disappointed for their service.All agents was the same.

Their rep "made a reservation" for the flights and emailed the itinerary. No charges were to be made to my credit card until the booking was confirmed. They called me back to confirm and to ask that I authorize the purchase with AmEx. The charge had barely been processed when they called again and said only one ticket could be issued and the other two were on standby. I said this was not acceptable. I was told my only option was to change the dates or to pay almost double to upgrade. No refunds would be made. American Airlines has no record of the reservations.
