The two Matts came and installed the terracotta coloured bricks on the exterior walls of my Victorianmid-terrace home two weeks ago. The whole process took just 2 1/2 hours.
The work was carried out efficiently and all mess and dust which was just outside was cleared up. The life-time guarantee was a big attraction and the price a lot less than other methods.
I was also very interested in this green option which does not require the use of chemicals and all the mess and days of work INSIDE a property with more traditional damp proof courses where skirting boards and plaster have to be removed.
The company is used all over Holland and the Dutch know a thing or two about damp and water. Perhaps better marketing in the UK would raise its profile. Using SmartDry compared to traditional methods seems a no brainer to me.

SmartDry were great they arrived in time, told me exactly what was going to happen on the day and completed the work earlier than expected. They also did a great job cleaning up. I understand that results won't be instantaneous, so can't comment on that for now, but the work seems to have been done to a very high standard.

SmartDry were very helpful with explaining how their system works and why it was a good fit for our property. The work was carried out on time and they even phoned several times to ask some additional questions and to suggest solutions to some minor unexpected snags. Everything was left neat and tidy and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone with similar damp problems.

I am leaving feedback on our experience with the company only as obviously it is too early to say whether the product works but I am quite confident it will.
Everyone from start to finish have been very professional and courteous. I heard from my tenant and she said the guys who completed the work were very nice to her and her young son which I am very grateful.
The survey was completed within a couple of days and work completed a couple of weeks later - very impressed so far.
Yes it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and if it does the job then it’s worth every penny.

The installer phoned ahead to say they were in traffic, once arrived he got straight to work, no hassle and finished in the time frame as instructed with the quote

I had the SmartDry system installed in a property I rent so wasn’t around whilst the work was carried out. Talking to my tenant the work was completed much sooner than they thought and the workmen where friendly and didn’t leave a mess afterwards, there was also no need to do any work on the inside of the house, such as removing skirting boards and the mess of knocking off any plaster then re-plastered afterwards. It’s been a few months now and the damp hasn’t got any worse so it’s obviously working, I guess the proof is in the pudding once I redecorate but is looking promising.
I would definitely recommend SmartDry for any kind of damp problems especially with the lifetime guarantee, It’s the most cost effective way in the long run as other systems such as injection only last for so long before it needs re-doing.

Would give 5 stars but of course don't know how effective it is yet. In all other respects I would not hesitate to recommend. Easy to communicate with, on time, polite, tidy and quick with zero mess.

I found Smart Dry an excellent company to deal with. Scott in the office has been very helpful throughout the whole process. Oliver came out to complete the survey promptly and explained the system well and was very professional. I also can't praise Matt and Jason enough who did the work. They cleaned up after themselves and made the process as easy as possible (even getting our washing off the line so it didn't get dust on it). I have marked it as 4 stars for now as I can't rate if it has fixed our condensation problems until after the Summer but the process of dealing with Smart Dry is highly recommended.

They came when they said they would. The work team were pleasant and informative. The work was done quickly and neatly, and the cost was reasonable.

Very happy with the service and pleased with the end result of the work. Engineers were polite and made sure to tidy up after the job.

Good response time from initial contact through job completion, the guys that did the work were excellent, extremely quick and tidied up as they went along, offered them a tip at the end of the day when they had finished, but they declined, telling me it wasn't company policy to accept gratuities.
Anyway Thanks SmartDry, just got to wait and see now how well the product performs.

I could not be more delighted with the service & quality of workmanship provided by every single member of the SmartDry team I encountered. Their knowledge of & passion for their product gave me huge confidence when making my decision. From my initial enquiry which Glynn responded to speedily & informatively, to Oliver who did the survey, explaining the type of dry brick they'd use & that they'd colour match my white render & two shades of brick work, & who was hugely helpful in fixing the date for the work to be done, to Jamie & Matt who arrived bang on time to install, working quickly & cleanly, checking I was happy with everything at each stage, to Scott in the office who followed up the next day to ensure I was happy with the work that had been done & the service i'd received. The process was a breath of fresh air from start to finish & it was lovely to encounter people who clearly cared about the work they were doing. I cannot wait to watch my watch my walls dry out & look forward to their return visit in a year to see the results.

The whole Smartdry team were great - no problems at any stage. The product itself is really clever - a real find for me, as external insulation and over raised ground level were proving a problem with traditional DPC.
My request for a survey and quote were responded to really quickly and the work was carried out about two weeks later - it was finished in a day by the three highly skilled and super efficient technicians with absolutely no mess, no replastering or anything like that. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

From my initial enquiry which was handled very professionally by scott at the office. He arranged for their surveyor namely Oliver, who came out to see me the following week along with another lady who was a trainee. Oliver was also very professional and advised me what the problems I had were and how the damp problem had measured to show damp on lover level on two walls and also higher up where the chimney breasts are. He explained to me in detail how their product would eradicate the damp problem within the walls. I was given a quotation by oliver at end of visit which I accepted and a date for the work to be carried out the following week. On the day that the guys were coming to see me Jamie phoned me at the morning to advise he would be about 30minutes late due to motorway traffic. He arrived at 9.30 with another workman and he did contact his office to say he needed another workman who then arrived in a couple of hours. Jamie and the other wormen worked constantly till the installation was compleded. Jamie is a credit to your company along with the other two guys who helped. They removed all rubbish and cleaned up. I would definitely recommend smartdry to anyone.

i was confused about why they installed an extra 6 air bricks around my shed wall as that is not connected to my home. They then came out and fixed the problem installing three more air bricks inside the shed where it was actually needed. The instalation of the bricks and the work carried out i would say is of good standard. my only other issue is that the house had foot prints of dust inside and there was the same dusty essence behind the tv where the installed an air vent. i think they tried to clean it up but it was left with a lot of orange brick dust and marks on the floor

the lads that done my damp proof were fantastic and did a A1 job no mess and even took there boots off when they came into the house, just waiting to see how the damp proof works in the next 12 months.
