Ian recently snagged my new build and I am delighted with the service provided. A genuinely nice guy and excellent professional. He spent many hours inspecting the build and was very thorough. What I was also impressed by was the way he explained things in a way that I could understand. 90% of the snags I would never have noticed so very pleased with this. The report was detailed and easy to pass on to the developer.

The following day Ian contacted me to ask about another snag he had remembered and then updated the report accordingly, this shows that he will go above and beyond for his customers.

Ian came out the day after I moved into my new build home and spotted a number of things I just wouldn't have noticed myself such as the guttering, flashing to a Velux window and broken roof tiles. He also picked up numerous other imperfections to paint work, issues with doors and lintels, issues with tiling in the en-suite and the biggest was a leak. Thanks to him spotting this, the site team came out and dealt with it the same day and rectified the plasterwork and paintwork before my flooring was laid. Ian even came back a couple of times during the following week to make sure the damp was drying out and the leak had been resolved using his thermal imaging camera.

Having experienced issues with my last new build I decided to go for a pro-snagging survey on my new property. I thought I was thorough and had strong attention to detail, but Ian (SnagCheck Solutions) is on another level!!! He identified hundreds of issues including a leaking shower, debris in the guttering (spotted with his drone), cosmetic faults, and electrical issues. Well worth the money.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ian for a snagging inspection on our new build, and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Ian came in bright and early and spent several hours combing through the house.

He was very detailed, inspecting the roof installation with his drone, while also checking pipes, and walls for water leakage. He also help identify that some radiators were working inefficiently. Ian was so thorough that he identified a previous plumbing fault that the developers thought they hard taken care of.

Despite the house being well-finished, Ian identified over 100 snags—90% of which I would have never noticed on my own. His attention to detail was outstanding, catching everything and presenting it in such a way that it’s for the developers to review.

Later the same day, he provided a comprehensive report with detailed images. Ian’s professionalism, expertise, and value for money were second to none.

I highly recommend Ian’s snagging services to anyone moving into a new build. The peace of mind he provides is well worth the investment!

I contacted Ian prior to moving into our new build and he explained what he would do. Two days after getting the keys Ian came round to do his snagging (we hadn't moved in at this point so he didn't have to work round any furniture). He spent several hours checking the house, and used his drone and thermal imaging as well. He commented that the house was very well finished, but still found over 130 snags (he was being generous as some of the decorating ones he grouped together). He puts red dots on everything so they are easy to identify. Ian provided a comprehensive report with images later that day. I had my ten day site meeting with the site team yesterday and went through the snagging report. They have agreed to sort most of them. Ian identified lots of things I would have never picked up on such as damaged bricks,bricks out of line, things out of plump, problems with windows and plumbing, poor sealant etc. Ian was very professional. I would highly recommend Ian, and he was the best quote I got. Why someone would spend a fortune on a house and not pay a few hundred pounds for a snagger is beyond me.

I contacted Ian prior to my my move into a new build and once I had the keys, Ian turned upon time, the following day. I was very impressed with how thorough he was and worked around boxes and furniture arriving. After the survey Ian left and within a hour my report was sent across. I would definately recommend this company to anyone!

He found a total number of 61 snags, even after stating our house was built very well with a great finish.

Ian came to view the property that we have lived in for 20 plus years. We had always experienced an issue with condensation during Autumn and Winter seasons which we assumed was damp. He visited the property, performed an internal humidity check on different internal and external walls and gave us an honest and transparent conclusion that it was a fault with lack of internal ventilation and airflow. I took on board the technical advice which was explained to me in layman terms and now the problem is fixed. No more black mould patches on the walls. Perfect solution to a long standing problem. We never realised the issue.

Thanks to Ian for helping to identify issues that we had not spotted on our new build home. Having someone who understands the regs was definitely best way to be able to get things corrected and made proper with the house.
