Astronomic service costs and unreliable
Initially we loved our tap and we were paying the very expensive servicing costs each year. This year, after paying over £300 to get it serviced we were told the compressor had run out of gas and Zip cannot fix this so they condemned the tap. Felt like we paid £300 to have the engineer arrive and disconnect the tap and we got none of the service fee back even though we used no new parts or filter. Customer services were unhelpful and just said we wouldn’t get any money back. The one concession they could do was to offer £150 off a brand new tap but at £3000 it did not seem worth it. We will not be staying with Zip and will find an alternative company’s water tap. As an aside the Zip products at work always break as well so not a reliable company.

Disappointing
Engineer was polite and courteous. No issues there. However 5 days later we have the same problem with the tap. Then someone can't come out for two days.

Had a Zip tap for well over 20yrs now
Had a Zip tap for well over 20yrs now, and we had a new kitchen fitted and up upgraded our Zip tap, Peter the engineer was great, nothing too much trouble, on time, good communications all along the way, any mess he cleaned up after himself, and really took pride in fixing it under the sink, his attention to detail was second to none. Great job and well pleased thank you :)

I had a call the day before and the engineer arrived when they said they would. He explained what he was going to do and any issues he may encounter beforehand. Thankfully no issues and everything working perfectly, which is certainly wasn't before!
