Product Colour Totally Different To What Was Advertised
One of the worst companies I’ve dealt with online! Sent out a totally different product (colour wise) to what was advertised on their web page.
Ordered black riven granite sett but obvious they sent a light grey coloured sett, to which they contested.
However factoring in variance in colour with natural stone products and also listening to them saying it was a ‘sand film/layer’ on the product that made it appear lighter in colour that was not the case! Having washed down one of the setts as per Stonemarts guidance and instruction along with sending through photographic evidence (before and after) they would still not accept responsibility that they had sent the wrong product citing variance in colour with natural stone!!! The setts delivered were no where near the same colour as advertised and after many what’s app messages (they never once contacted me by phone) they agreed to take the stone back but charged me £70 to collect!
Not to mention all the hassle this created for me and my builder who was on site to do the works.
Be very very careful with this company because they will stick to their mantra of stating the variance colour with natural stone….you also note that most of their website photos show their products in a wet rather than dry state!!
To cap it all off they also took back the HELLO10 welcome discount absolute scammers!!!

Regarding the Black Granite colour, we try to represent our stones accurately on our website. However, due to the natural variations in stone and factors like lighting at the time of photography, screen settings, and the stone’s appearance when wet or dry, some colour differences may occur. We understand that this may not have met your expectations, and we apologise if the product presentation did not fully convey these nuances.
Throughout our communications, our team aimed to clarify that we shipped the correct product as ordered, although colour was not as per your expectation. Therefore, replacements would not resolve your concern. We genuinely tried to find a suitable solution, offering a partial rebate on the return charge as a goodwill gesture.
Additionally, we would like to clarify that the total deduction from your refund included £60 for the reverse collection. Additional £10 deduction was for forward shipping cost, which is a standard procedure in case of returns. There was no deduction applied for the HELLO10 welcome code, and we apologize if there was any misunderstanding here.
Customer satisfaction is a high priority for us, and we regret if there were any miscommunications along the way. If you’d be open to discussing this further, we’d appreciate the chance to resolve any remaining concerns and ensure a positive outcome.

Order was short and poor customer service
UPDATE
I initially left a one star review and have now ammended this to three. Stonemart offered me a refund on the missing setts and a refund on the initial delivery. I still required the product and compromised on the provision of missing setts at their cost which they agreed to. I received the missing setts within a couple of days. As I said in my initial review, the product is good but sometimes things go awry. I would use Stonemart again based on the way they handled my complaint.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
I can't in good conscience give this company a favourable review. When I initially sent my order through to them I advised them on the weak bridge on my road and advised the route in and out to avoid said bridge and thus a fine. They saw fit to send the order in two deliveries and I was to receive them two days after order at a delivery cost of £50 plus VAT. The first part arrived on an 18 tonne lorry, with no problem with access and egress, with the remainder to be delivered separately later that day. At about 4pm that day, a Friday, I received a call from the courier company saying that the driver was concerned that he wouldn't be able to get his lorry, the same size and type as the first delivery, down my road and turn. I explained to them that the first driver and lorry had no problem to which they said the driver would give me a call to discuss. I never received that call and heard nothing from the Stonemart or courier company til after the weekend. On the Monday the courier company advised via email that they were sending the remainder via a smaller vehicle and the Stonemart messaged me telling me of this new arrangement and asking for another delivery fee of £54.71. I made them aware of the fact that I'd informed them of the weak bridge in my initial order and of the fact that the first part of the order came on an 18 tonne lorry with no issue. I also argued, to no avail, that I should have had my delivery fee of £50 + vat returned to me as I didn't receive it all, for whatever reasons, on the day I had paid for it to be delivered. The second part of the delivery arrived without incident and I didn't hear anymore from the Stonemart until I informed them that part of my order was missing. I paid for 200 setts but received only 150. We have had a to and fro via email and nothing is getting done to resolve this issue.
Apart from that already mentioned, there is nothing wrong with the product, it's just the company who have been a huge disappointment.

Unfortunately, this can occasionally lead to the issues outside our expectations, in spite of regular co-ordination by our logistics team.

Great customer service from beginning to end of our purchase. I like to support local but prices were out of our league until I found these guys who had similar porcelain tiles at half the price plus you get free delivery. They arrived safely, each tile individually wrapped & corner protectors on too. Absolutely perfect.

This company failed to make delivery on three separate occasions. Today was the third time it has happened and Stonemart did not even have the courtesy to let me know that there was yet another problem and that there would be no delivery. They have every excuse imaginable but the truth is, it is just a very unprofessional service. Yes, it is cheap but there is a reason for that. Wasted so much time on this. I would rather pay more and use a company who treat their customers with some respect.
