Earlier this year, we were introduced to Strax Capital Legal Ltd by a firm that was dealing with another claim in Spain. They recommended highly, to make a claim within the U.K.
We had never heard of Strax and at first, we had our reservations but as it was No Win No Fee claim, we thought we had nothing to lose to recover funds made for a mis-sold timeshare.
From the beginning the Strax team were very professional and explained the process and what thery could and could not do.We were very pleased with Strax as they kept us informed of progress at every stage, asthey said they would do. We were recommended to Strax Capital Legal after being mis sold a timeshare in Malta. After an initial phone call consultation they inform us we should be able to get our money back, including expenses, but to expect the process to take some time. We gave them all the information they required and true to their word we were reimbursed of our purchase costs with additional interest of 8%. We were helped to produce a report to submit to the Ombudsman regarding our Timeshare. Thereafter all the negotiations were handled by Strax on our behalf. It took many months, but we were delighted with the eventual outcome which were due to our record-keeping and the work of Strax on our behalf.

If you have any claims, I would recommend Strax in an instant. I engaged Strax over 5 years ago to deal with a very complex claim with the FSCS due to a very professional property fraud of which I was a victim. The claim took a huge amount of time and effort to prepare but when it was submitted, it was rejected almost immediately by the FSCS on completely spurious grounds. Needless to say Marie at Strax gave me expert guidance to provide further information to resubmit the claim. Many rounds of ever more detailed questions followed. However, due to their method, the FSCS eventually calculated that I had actually made a profit on the case and therefore rejected any compensation a second time.
I was ready to give up but Marie was hugely supportive and identified another approach to counter their figures. Despite many attempts by the FSCS to ignore or reject the documents and details I kept providing, Marie kept me going to the conclusion. After a long and what seemed never-ending struggle, I was eventually awarded over £25,000 and I was very happy to pay Strax their very hard-earned fee.

I used Strax Capital to recover money we used from remortgaging our home and investing in Spanish property which went badly wrong.

We were told by the FSCS we didn't have a claim but eventually through using Strax Capital and guided by Alan Cahill we finally got a payout Strax worked on this for over four years and despite the FSCS asking for reams of information we persevered and won!

In 2006 we bought an off-plan property in Florida. Suffice to say that it all went pear-shaped following the 2008 financial meltdown.
