I was unfortunate enough to become involved with unscrupulous, fraudulent people who used lies and deceit to cause me to lose many thousands of pounds. Fortunately, the company called Strax Capital was able to collate all the information I had and take my case to the ombudsman (FSCS) and make a successful claim on my behalf. I still lost money, but a large percentage of it was returned to me, as there is a cap on the amount that can be awarded. The proof required was extensive and it took many months hard work, but they kept on the case until they received the desired result. I couldn’t have done it on my own.
