Big promises, questionable tactics with no follow through. Going with your bank and receiving solid answers is much more reliable. Direct Lending is a Waste of time

We had a loan going fine. Just before the appraisal was ordered; they stopped answering phone calls and emails. I had to get on facebook to find out that First Direct Lending had gone out of business. This was the least likable position anyone could have put us in. Just a sorry group of managers. They didn’t tell anyone including the people that work for them that they were going under.

Wanted us to sign a fraudulent document at closing. Set up closing for a Saturday when nobody was available to reach for questions. After 3 days they notified us they could not find our loan because the document was not signed. Then they sent us a letter saying they could not find the loan because of Credit Rating. All of this after 3+ months. Now they have closed the doors.
