They were great and very supportive. They helped me book my test really far away as I live in London but needed to take my test in Leeds because I wanted to jump the waiting queue! So I hired the car and driver for the day and they even gave me a mock test too!

Really good scheme. And I passed with no majors or minors.

Had booked a test on short notice and my regular instructor was not available.
Spent half a day looking for alternatives and finally reached out to them. Their response was quick and an instructor was arranged in a few hours as assured.

The go to guys for such last minute arrangements.

Trustpilot reviews were an important deciding factor too.

Excellent service. Booked a test on short notice and my instructor was unavailable. Contacted them and they arranged a Driving test car with an instructor for my test the next day. Would definitely recommend if you are in such a fix and need a way out.

Good customer support and service. My instructor was Falz, great guy with very positive aura and energy. I passed with the car provided by test1cars and their instructor Falz did a great job too

Brilliant experience. I didn't have an instructor's car as I took a cancelled date & I didn't take many lessons, and needed a car on a short notice. The instructor arrived on time and told me basic things to take note of, passed safely.

Absolute life saver of a service! My instructor withheld his test car from me and I was left in a situation of having no car 24 hours before my test. The team quickly got back to me to confirm a car and an instructor. On the day I had an hour to get used to the car and a quick lesson with my instructor who ran through all the important things for my test (manoeuvres and a quick drive around). My instructor was so lovely and helped me to calm down before my test. He gave great feedback which I took into account in the actual test. I ended up passing which just wouldn't have been possible without this service!

Helpful and always sort out any issues you may be having would highly recommend

I managed to get a car for my test with 2 days. The communication and payment process was all straight forward. The Driver was so efficient and punctual at the centre. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a car and driver for their test.

Great experience. The response I got was very quick and positive. Sunny (instructor) was very professional and his tips were very helpful. I passed the test first time. Thank you so much and would definitely recommend Test Car 1 who are looking for last minute instructors and cars.

Quick response and reliable. Given my situation-only 2 working days away from the test day, the turn around time was awesome that made me take test and achieve my driving licence. You were pretty quick in assigning me a brilliant ADI at my DTC. Appreciate the Team in Test Car 1 for very smooth and joyous experience, Keep it up guys!!!

Very reliable! Good car condition and very nice instructor! Highly recommended!

Great service. Highly recommended

I needed a car for my daughter to take her driving test miles away from home and didn’t know where to look, lots of Google searches and test car 1 kept popping up. I was a bit unsure as to what I was getting into because you can’t be to careful nowadays. I looked up the reviews and messaged them. Although it’s a bit of an outlay it is so worth it to have the stress taken away. Andreas messaged me back very quickly and said he would have me an instructor and car within few hours, make that 1 hour. I had the driving instructor Dave from Lee on the solent call me a few mins after my text and everything was arranged for my daughter to have an extra lesson and her lesson and test on the day. She passed with only 3 minors and it was all thanks to test car 1 finding us Dave. Please, if you are stuck without a car for a driving test then don’t be worried about contacting Andreas and team, they are there to help and are there with congratulations when you pass.
Thank you test car 1 for making my daughter cry happy tears today 4/2/22. Myself and my husband will be crying when the need for petrol money starts!

Hello. Thank you so much for letting me book a car for my test.. I'm glad to say that I passed my test and Stuart the instructor was amazing. Thank you again

Great service. The response was quick and efficient as we needed. Thanks for helping out with our "pass"

Email these folks if you're stuck. Quite quick to respond and definitely capable of helping out, even if you're in a tough spot. Will recommend that you follow-up to confirm everything if your test is extremely short notice. That said, these guys managed to find an available instructor within 24 hours of my test time. What's more, that instructor was great, and I passed!

Couple of negative points. The phone number doesn't work sometimes. You really need to email them. Also, I had some weird hiccup where I booked on the website but didn't get contacted back with confirmation. When following up the day before my test, they didn't even have me in the system yet despite the fact that I got automated texts from them. Stick with email. They got it right in the end (and fast) so I won't ding them.
