Do not waste your hard earned money!
I had no better treatment at the clinic than I subsequently had free of charge from a local audiologist. My initial £195 appointment told me nothing I didn’t already know from the NHS and the hearing aid I was fitted with (£250) was no different to my NHS one. Yes the clinic offered further help but I was really unhappy about the amount of money I had already spent and could see many expensive appointments in the future so I cancelled my treatment.My local audiologist has sorted me out and all follow up treatment is free.

Update. I didn’t make it clear that the £250 was a fitting fee, if I had kept the hearing aid they recommended it would have obviously been much more expensive. Also I have been verified as a genuine customer of the clinic and have a letter dated January 2019 they sent after I complained directly to them.

The Tinnitus Clinic are not the cheapest but they provide invaluable expertise in managing an otherwise extremely demanding condition. They have the necessary staff and plenty of admin backup and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I have been coming to the Tinnitus Clinic off and on for the last 3 years and have always seem Mark, who is an expert in this field.
I am currently under treatment for my tinnitus in my left hear and it seems to be working. I have another appointment booked to see Mark in a few weeks, at which point we will discuss the next stage of my treatment.

Tinnitus can be a very devastating condition but with the help and support from the tinnitus clinic I have managed to overcome my anxiety.

I saw Steve Douglas and he was very understanding and helpful. He has a calm easy manner and was very responsive to my hearing issues. He also gave me good advice and some helpful recommendations. Initially I went to Specsavers but the difference between the two was night and day. Don’t try to cut corners with your hearing. I had a detailed hearing test, three appointments and he sent my hearing aids for repair (which Specsavers wouldn’t do because I hadn’t bought them from there) then mailed them special delivery to me. Great value, great service.

Always an excellent service from Mark Williams at the Tinnitus Clinic. I have been coming to him for a few years now and he really knows his stuff. My tinnitus is so greatly improved and now he is working on my hearing loss (age related) and already my hearing is so much better. I really highly recommend him. Don’t be fobbed off by doctors saying they can’t do anything for tinnitus because I am proof that it can be treated very well.

When I first attended the clinic I was in a desperate state with tinnitus. The care was most professional and so helpful I don't know how I would have managed without it. The continuing care is there too, if I have a problem with my devices I just ring or e mail. The staff are always very helpful and efficient.

Professional review with no pressure to take further treatment. Mine was in the mild spectrum and it was decided to keep a watching brief at this time.

Did an hearing test confirmed no hearing loss , spoke highly that my tinnitus would get better on it’s own , no change yet but early days ,no pressure in buying expensive neuromodulation devices though they did recommend it if it didn’t get any better in the coming months so at least I have options available,

Early days for the treatment but things seem to be going in the right direction. Nothing through the NHS to treat tinnitus and the service I have received from The Tinnitus clinic so far has been excellent.

Excellent service, got to the root of rhe problem, no easy fix but hopefully going to reduce my tinnitus. Not as expensive as I thought it was going to be.
