Hello David, We have reviewed your correspondence with our customer service team. UPS shows that all 3 packages were delivered to you in June. We were only notified that you were missing a package today. As mentioned under our shipping policy we require customers to reach out to us within 14 days of receiving their order to notify us of missing packages or items. We have this policy in place so that we can complete a claim with UPS within their timeframe. Because we were notified over 90 days after the order was received we were not able to resend the product. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Double Pergola Kit installed with no issues...
everything I ordered came in on time, however the 2nd shipment came in with missing parts (Shade Sail buckles) .

We are very pleased with our Toja shade. We did not use the Toja grid system to build our pergola and it still works great. The shade stays tight and looks beautiful. I see a lot of saggy sail shade but not ours!! Very pleased. Shipping was super fast.

Really great products that look and function exactly as advertised. I might recommend having a wood planer available - I needed one for my lumber but it was easy and quick.

Hi Christopher, thank you for your review! As a reminder, our primary line of brackets are made for 4x4 and 6x6 dressed wood. There are different cuts of wood. Dressed wood is planed on all sides, has rounded corners and is most commonly referred to as 4x4 and 6x6 in stores. Dressed wood is what you would want to use with our primary bracket offering. Note: 4x4 wood is in fact 3.5”x3.5” - the industry simply calls it 4x4. 6x6 wood is in fact 5.5"x5.5" - the industry simply calls it 6x6.

The finished product is amazing
The finished product is amazing. What a great look! I purchased the 6x6 hammock kit with three sail shades and two curtain rods. The curtain rods don't like up perfectly on this which is the only reason I deducted a star. They could use a bit of a redesign. Everything else is perfect. I even added the shelf accessory and all of the components were well made. A tip is that each part comes with the exact perfect number of screws. This means if you drop one, you need to find it. I ordered a couple of extra packages of screws and was glad that I did! If you are thinking about ordering, be assured that the quality is better than you might even dare to hope. You do need strong people to put it together.

Great Pergola and Wave Shades
The Toja Grid kit accomplished exactly what I wanted, which was a custom size pergola on my rooftop deck so that I could have some shade. I probably could have had someone build it using big bolts or other brackets, but the Toja system was a lot more straightforward. I added Toja wave shades, which is what people notice the most when they see it.

Quality product & lightening fast shipment.
What should be improved:
Screw quality. Include a bit that works with your screw selection. I stripped the first three screws until I found the proper bit.
Engineering recommendation for climates that have snow are those who plan to put a tin roof on their Toja.

Hi Matt, thank you for your review. Did you reach out to our customer service team to inquire about what bit to use? As noted on our FAQ our brackets have an outdoor powder coating on them, that lasts up to 10 years, this allows them to be used in all weather and can be left up during the winter months. Our brackets are not structural brackets or intended to have fixed roofs, customization or anything outside the intended and indicated use of pergola as shown. For anything outside our recommendation, we advise consulting with an engineer. Always check your local building codes, HOA, and municipal requirements in advance of building as they vary by city/state and region.
Well designed and made product

This system is great
This system is great. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the stitching on the canopy deteriorated after 2 years in the desert sun and I had to order a new one. Not sure there’s a solution for that. The sun is powerful and I’m sure any thread wouldn’t hold up here.

We love our Toja Grid
We love our Toja Grid. We opted for 6x6's and ordered the 8x8 size for our pool area. Definitely a solid structure and gives us nice shade when we need it. I just wish the cover was waterproof so that we can sit out there in the rain.

Hi David, thank you for the review. We aren't sure why you didn't receive a shipping email. According to our system you were sent a shipping confirmation SMS and an email on May 17th and then a delivery email on May 18th. Perhaps the emails landed in your junk or spam boxes.
