Horrendous experience!

Returned two sets of lights and have proof of delivery. Have emailed Value Lights over 10 times requesting the refund.

Over 3 months later, no replies and still no refund!!

I have used value lights on a few occasions now,
And I have always found them to have a very large range to choose from, also their prices are very reasonable!
And they provide fast delivery also!
Each lamp and light fittings I have purchased from here have been a very good quality!
Items come very well packaged to prevent any damage, clear easy instructions,
When ever I need a new lamp, light fittings or even bulbs this is the first place I go to!
So I can 100% recommend this company!

Ordered a light from Debenhams in November which was for a lamp which i later found out had been supplied by ValueLights. Awful experience with Evri who were delivering but never arrived and then advised that the lamp had been returned to supplier. After 3 emails to Debenhams and no response I read another review who said that they had contacted the original supplier. Wish I had done this 4 weeks ago. Phoned ValueLights and explained the problem and they could not have been more helpful. They apologised even though it was not their problem and said that they would send me out a replacement but could not guarantee when. Fully understood but to my surprise within 48 hours I had had a replacement from them - unfortunately though Evri did leave it outside on the doorstep in the rain but no damage. In future will purchase directly from ValueLights. Wonderful service. thanks.

Having discovered that there was a small defect with the lamp I'd ordered - I have three other identical lamps - I contacted Value Lights by email, attaching a photograph. The response was almost instantaneous, as was the offer to replace the lamp, and I have to sing the praises of Lee, who ensured that it was delivered at the earliest opportunity by Evri.

My package had been left out in the rain contacted seller they reassured me that if damaged they'll replace it explained Christmas present so they have fast tracked me a new lamp even though it was carrier company that were at fault

Nice product had a problem with courier delivery and customer service was excellent. would definitely recommend

Very happy with my Bedside lights

First of all I placed an order with Value lights on the 3rd Dec 25 was meant to receive it by the 9th. Evri the carrier Company received my parcel it was on its way when they lost it. I emailed Value lights and Lee kindly resent my order and I received it within a couple of days. Great customer service no hassle 5 star treatment. Keep up the good work I have no issues about using Value lights again.

I cannot fault the excellent service received from this Company. There was a problem with an undelivered order via Evri (not unusual). ValueLights sorted out my query immediately after I had contacted them. They left "no stone unturned" to ensure full customer satisfaction.

The uplighters I bought are perfect for the room, good quality at a great price. The cable clips were missing, possibly an error at the manufacturer but the team at Valuelights were very helpful and sent replacements.

I would strongly avoid using any company that fails to do the basics of a customers right. My parcel was left outside in a public space no fault of my own but the courier themselves and value lights are refusing to refund me even with the proof of my parcel left unattended without me giving my permission for my items to be left outside. Even after explaining my legal rights under the consumer rights act 2015 I am still getting told they won’t do anything unless I report it as a theft even though IT IS SOLELY the sellers responsibility.

You cannot refuse me a refund because I haven’t provided you a police crime reference number, especially if the issue is a non-delivered or faulty item. Which in my case it would be non delivered as I did not give permission for my items to be left outside.

When I first reported this , the first thing they said to me was we need a crime number so we can claim back our costs from Evri. Lmao sorry what? You want to claim back YOUR costs ? Oh okay well that’s fine then ! Let’s just worry about YOU and not the fact that ME as a paying customer has had their parcel not delivered because it was carelessly left outside in a public place and now YOU are only concerned about getting back YOUR money from Evri? Instead of opening an investigation with EVRI and finding out WHY my things were left outside and coming to me with a suitable resolution like a refund or replacement you want me to chase around getting numbers so you can clam back your loss of money? Absolutely insane. I am not doing the back and forth in the emails respectfully, I don’t do that. I have made myself overly clear that if I do not receive the refund I am legally entitled to , I will be taking this further because at this point you’re point blank refusing to deal with my problem legally and professionally.

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. I blundered on my order and wrote to them for advice. Because they are so efficient my order had been dispatched so it couldn’t be altered. Despite this they advised me what to do to resolve the issue Thank you, rarely have I experienced such brilliant customer service

The 8 Inch LED Rechargeable Table Mirror with 5x Magnification I ordered in May 2025 was delivered as ordered and was well packed. So far, the Mirror is working and charging well. Good value with the discount! So far, there are no issues!

I ordered some beautiful lamps from Amazon but unfortunately had an issue with the dimmer, I contacted value lights who sent a replacement which I received in a couple of days, a superb after service. The lamps are stunning and look fantastic in my living room, really well made and great value for money, so overall a extremely positive experience with valuelights, will definitely use again

Super kind very understanding .Having such a very bad time losing my parcels .But come to realise there are special company's that go that extra mile THIS IS ONE OF THEM .ordered an outside wall lantern that never came EVRI LOSS so opppologetic when it wasn't even there fault offered a new one straight away .but wasn't risking another loss .so straight away they still said how sorry they were and gave me full refund .so kind great company .Great service don't hesitate to buy from this company .thank you kindly Mr and Mrs read bitterne southamptonxxxx
