Really like their good quality lamps and brought a few and (apart from Evri being Evri) very quick and safe delivery. Good no fuss customer service too.

Still awaiting delivery almost a week after the order was placed, warehouse computer system issues identified by the customer service team

Order placed a week ago with next day delivery promised. No communication since, order tracking from Evri on “we’ve got it”. No replies from customer service at value lights, don’t waste your time ordering from this site and save your nerves from stress. Useless company will be asking for refund today

I recently left a very negative review, so I felt it was only fair to come back and provide an update.
A few weeks later, I can honestly say that the follow-up customer service was significantly better. The team responded to my messages almost instantly, and when my product arrived with a broken part, they arranged a replacement straight away without any hassle.
Thank you to the team for taking my feedback on board and really stepping up. It's refreshing to see a company not only listen to customer reviews but also take meaningful action to improve the customer experience.
Every company makes mistakes from time to time, but what matters is how they respond when things go wrong. In this case, the team handled my concerns well and restored my confidence in them.

Outdoor, waterproof light, literally falling to bits after just over a year and Value lights are saying it is out of Warranty so they can't do a thing?

Very poor customer service!

I purchased an Outdoor IP64 rated copper coloured bulkhead light in Feb 2025. It was a nice looking product. I placed it on the wall in my relatively protected back yard.

Just over one year on I was doing some work in the yard and noticed that the outer coating on the fitting is peeling off across the whole light. Literally coming off in chunks. Meaning the light now looks awful.

In addition the rubber grommit to the base of the light that maintains the IP rating has entirely perished and cracked. Essentially this light has fallen entirely to bits within just over one year. I wish I could add pictures to this review to show how bad it is.

On contacting Value lights I have been told the light is out of warranty so there is nothing they can do........
This is not a warranty issue. This is situation where an outdoor light fitting has been sold and is entirely not fit for purpose.

Having asked if there is anything they can do, the repeated answer was no. Sorry it is out of Warranty.

This fitting was not cheap and I will now need to replace this fitting or risk water getting into my Water proof fitting and causing an electrical risk to my house, which in 16 months is laughable.

This business obviously do not care about their customers in any way, otherwise they would have realised this situation is not acceptable and should be rectified.

Wow, just wow! If this review stops one person from buying fittings from these guys then the last ten minutes have been worth it.

Beware! Their pricing seems inconsistent. I bought shades to test them out and when I went back to order more the price increased by almost 20%, even with the discounts applied. Very disappointing and makes it hard to trust the pricing.

I purchased bathroom lights from value lights unfortunately I had to return them I got in touch with value lights customer service and found them to be very helpful I spoke to a girl first about my refund and then I got a email from Andrew to tell me they were issuing a refund. I recently purchased a bedroom light fixture which unfortunately arrived broken. When I contacted customer service they responded within 12 hours and happily agreed to send a replacement light. Such fantastic service, very happy with Value Lights.
