All this was efficiently done and before going he discussed health & safety and do's and don's. Well pleased with the service.

Challenging moving job
I booked a two-person job to move a 3 seater sofa from my second floor flat. The movers were nice but it was clear they didn't really know how to move it and struggled to get it out causing quite a bit of damage to the paint work in the communal areas. This was completely different to the movers who actually brought it into my flat years ago who were clearly expert movers. They also came a day late because of a system booking error.

Great service; ropey portal

On using the service again, I have increased my original rating from 2 to 4 stars. The service was great, as before, and this time I found the details in my account beforehand. The portal definitely needs work, but the service is really good when you get it.

Some lovely staff
Pest controllers Paul, Matt & Steve were all lovely on the 3 visits I had. All very friendly, professional & have great knowledge, zero complaints about them.
My issue is, after 2 visits I realised I still had the problem…not the pest controllers fault at all, i saw they did a good job. When I realised I still had the problem, i called multiple times to be told different stories & the help desk was not helpful at all, until I spoke to Fahima, she was helpful & very empathetic. I have nothing bit praise for the 4 staff mentioned.

Appalling Booking process
I have been trying to get a quote to do electrical work, plumbing work since April ‘26 (now August). The have to be done simultaneously or within days.
The website is rubbish. e.g My sink is collapsing in & the electrics in my home are dangerous.
Go to drop down menu-select taps, complete my details for quote. Then go back for each item. Why?
Shame on Waltham Forest for not stepping in & sorting this out. They must be losing money hand over foot.
The worse shame is that if you are a vulnerable individual who wants someone from the Council to help, then you are let down.
The young persons that answer the phone after waiting 20 minutes is rude. The woman in particular has an attitude & hasn’t a clue about customer service.
I am sure that the tradesmen I good at their jobs but they are let down by the Booking process & the people who you have to deal with.
I am presently very unwell so dealing with this is the last thing I need.
Unfortunately it is necessary.
If I could give no stars I would.

I booked a one‑off bin cleaning service for a single bin, scheduled between 9am and 4pm, and nobody showed up. When I called after 4pm, I spoke to Alisha, who was completely unhelpful and showed no concern whatsoever about the missed appointment. No apology, no explanation, just a dismissive attitude. I had to request a refund because the service I paid for simply wasn’t delivered. A very poor experience — I wouldn’t rely on this company again.

Booked a bin clean, got an email saying they were coming today then got an email saying they are coming in two weeks, I don'y know what's going on and wasn't given a choice of when to book, really would be easier and quicker to do it myself, very confusing service and nobody on hand to reply to emails. 🤷♂️

Having reviewed your booking, I can see that the initial bin wash was requested on 12 August 2026. Upon checking the collection schedule, your next bin collection was due on Friday 21 August 2026. In line with our bin washing policy, bin cleans are only carried out after the scheduled collection date. As a result, the service was correctly scheduled for the next working day, Monday 24 August 2026.
Following your email of 12 August 2026, a member of the team arranged for the bin wash to be completed on 13 August 2026 at your request. The response sent at the time also explained why the original booking had been scheduled for 24 August 2026.
I hope this clarifies the circumstances. Please accept our apologies for any confusion caused.

Had an appointment for gardeners to…
Had an appointment for gardeners to trim overgrown ivy in rear garden. The appointment was for a Thursday but notified on Tuesday they would be arriving that day. Not helpful. The gardeners were efficient and helpful but did not have suitable equipment to reduce height of ivy as much as I would have liked.
