Customer service does not take care of customer and doesn't cover parts or product under warranty!

Have a fridge/ freezer under warranty with Westinghouse and having a lot of problems with service department. Fixed and broke again within a week. Getting service people to come takes weeks. Keep being told lies and there is no communication. Been going on for 6weeks and am over themfri

We ordered the generator from Lowes and it was delivered in a timely manner. Set up was easy and its runs well.

Comme elle était encore sous garantie, j'ai appelé le service d'assistance de Whirlpool, qui m'a redirigé vers un revendeur partenaire chargé d'assurer la maintenance et l'assistance technique ; en d'autres termes, ils s'en sont lavé les mains. Comme on pouvait s'y attendre, le revendeur n'a manifesté aucun intérêt pour résoudre mon problème ; j'ai donc, pour l'instant, acheté une plaque à induction portable… Une expérience pour le moins décevante.
UK version: I bought an induction hob 3 years ago, few days suddenly the hob wouldn't switch on any more, Since the hob was still under warranty I called Wirlpool helpdesk who referred me to a reseller partner as the one in charge of providing maintenance and support , i.e. they washed their hands of it. As expected the reseller did not demonstrate any interest in fixing my problem, thus , so far, i bought a portable induction hob...not a great experience to say the least

Westinghouse is the absolute worst brand on the market

I would like to review my Westinghouse Royal Floral ceiling fan, but the screws that came with it stripped themselves, and when I took the screws back out (the head was completely eaten away from just grabbing them with pliers) I saw that the actual screw thread had flattened itself. I have NEVER seen this. It's insane that this is included with something that you hang OVER YOUR HEAD.

Don't you ever buy anything from this Westinghouse company. They are the worst!! They don't honor warranty. Never return my call!!.

I received a portable power station for my birthday in March of this year and for some reason it stopped working I explained my situation when I contacted the company and they could care less even though there was a delicate manner matter where I could not provide a receipt or proof of purchase because unfortunately the person is deceased and how many times have you opened a gift and you asked for a receipt at the time it's given they did not offer to replace it or may send it back they could not care less so be weary of buying products they don't stand by them.

Based on experience this past year, we find the once trusted and proud name of Westinghouse is but a shadow of itself. This may have something to do with their resurrection as an investment of Brookfield Asset Management in the United States, who purchased the failing Westinghouse brand a few years ago. We purchased a TV from the Brick (owned by Leons) and within 3 months it developed a pixilation dot and line across the screen. We spoke to the technicians who appear offshore. They don't have technology to take over the TV to make their own assessment so we had to remove the wall mounted TV and remove and replace each connected cable to assure the TV was defective to satisfy them. Then and only then would the technician accept a picture of the TV issue. Westinghouse does not have a return policy nor any repair facilities in Ontario. With this, if we wished warranty, we were instructed to take it to a recycle depot and take a picture of its destruction. Westinghouse was quite adamant they would not reimburse the taxes, nor any associated cost for the destruction of the TV or the HDMI cable we broke during the assessment. They also informed us only after the destruction of the TV would they consider any type of warranty for the less than 3 month old TV. We told the technician this was unacceptable and then wrote the Westinghouse Management and the Brookfield Directors, who did not respond and generally showed a serous disinterest. Since we primarily use it for computer use and with the loss of money we would experience, we decided to keep the damaged unit until it nears the end of warranty. We post this with the hope any future purchasers of Westinghouse products may consider what they may run into with this Company.

My Westinghouse dishwasher stopped working after two months, and it took a month to get someone out to repair it. The parts are obsolete already, and it took another few weeks and a lot of emailing to eventually get it replaced. They asked me for a review, then refused to publish it as it was "poor quality" i.e. wasn't complimentary! Would not recommend.

I was limited to what I could purchase. I wanted a fully Bottled Gas stove due to where I live as I am not able to connect to mains gas supply.

I purchased a Bottled gas top with a supposedly fan forced electric oven as that was the only choice I had.

Now after a couple of years struggling with the horrible thing I have given up baking - I have baked since I was 12 years old and am now 78 and can honestly say this is the worst stove I have ever had the misfortune to own.
I have used very old gas stoves and ovens as well as new ones but this is the worst possible thing I have ever had the misfortune to purchase.
Today I put two cakes in which I mixed at the same time with a recipe I have been using for 45 years.
So much for fan forcing one is almost cooked the other is sitting there looking very sad and 'flat'' has not risen and is not cooking at the same rate as the other one. Nothing bakes as it should and as it has previously.
The top which is bottled gas is reasonable except for the design. I only had one design to choose from if I wanted gas I did not notice until I got home that the back of the top of the stove has vents flat reducing the area for pans. I have to juggle the sizes of pans I can use to ensure they are sitting on the actual gas flame. Who ever came up with the idea to put vents flat at the back of the top of the stove obviously does not cook.
Not only has this design reduced the area uses can use it has meant if I am not careful then spills and splashes from frying etc can go down the back of the stove - not down the wall but the inside back of the stove!!!!!!!
I place some foil along the back over this 'grill' which can be removed when baking this is to ensure the inside of the back of the stove does not collect smelly greasy splashes etc.
No upright splash back what a stupid idea!!!!'
I have decided baking is a no go I from now on after trying over the past couple of years since I purchased it.
Maybe I can find an old gas stove I can install outside and do my baking under the veranda and just keep the one inside for two pot cooking or three if the pans are small.

It appears my thermostat had died after one of your technicians came over. After months of waiting for parts & appointments made and cancelled and rescheduled and cancelled due to parts being no longer being available, why the hell say they were in the 1st place? I feel like the last one you could find was given to someone else. It won't be available ever again..it's not even that old. So a new one but it won't be yours after all this b.s. Very disappointed 😞

Unreliable products nowadays. Had an issue with fridge. Now after 2 years dishwasher has given way. Motor changed. Valve replaced. Now motherboard. Aud 550’ total cost.

This company is the worse of the worse . I bought a brand new whirlpool end of April 2025 the the 2nd week in January 2026 my freezer broke down and I lost all the freezer food 1 day later the refrigerator stopped working out what I have outside because it was cold but list something’s out of the refrigerator I called their customer care 7 times they sent someone out they couldn’t fix it with the wasting they had with them so I have to wait 2 weeks for someone to come out so now I’m already 3 weeks with out a refrigerator so he came out again bought some parts with them it still didn’t work so he said I will be back next week now I’m 4 week without a refrigerator I called again to customer care they told me it wasn’t there problem and I said if your parts weren’t made in China there probably wouldn’t be having this issue and he said they are all made in America . The parts package said made in Mexico so there is a lie right there . Well the technician came out the following week still couldn’t fix it now I’m 6 weeks out and he said he couldn’t be back for 2 week which it will be 2 months no refrigerator , the weather is getting warmer I can’t leave food outside a friend of mine gave me a cooler but I’m buying ice every other day . I’m disabled 65 years old without a vehicle
And I can’t get anyone to help especially whirlpool. These people are useless so don’t buy anything from whirlpool there customer care people are horrible . I had to have it escalated to as far as it would go they wouldn’t help me so now I’m eating rice and bread because I’m keeping milk and butter and eggs in my cooler . That’s all I have except canned food but I used my EBT on ice and some food but list that when the wether got warmer so now I’m out of food can’t afford to buy more food and still no refrigerator . They won’t give me a new refrigerator or replace my food so now I have to wait til the 1st of the month to get some food but still no refrigerator till the middle of March , if they can fix it . So this is how they treat you . But the CEO got almost 30 million last year. They do not care that they sell crappy products as long as the ceo is making a ton of money.

I purchase a new IGEN5000 from Westinghouse it has less than 1 hour running time and the instruction and warning decals shriveled up and are useless and the company refuses to replace them or even sell me new ones which I offered to pay for. NEVER TRUST WESTINGHOUSE

Planning to buy a generator from Westinghouse? Just throw your money in the trash.
Yours may show up like mine did: dead on arrival, impossible to start, impossible to repair, and Westinghouse ignoring calls for help/return.
My son ordered a Westinghouse iGen4000dfc inverter generator for me on March 3, 2025. It never worked: never ran, never even started. Called Westinghouse support multiple times. No help. I reminded them that Westinghouse says its warranty covers iGen generators for repairs or replacement for factory defects for up to three years. They said they’d call me back. Never did. When I kept calling, they’d put me on hold and never pick up. I considered taking it to a small engine repair shop. There are many in Portland OR where I live. None would agree to even look at it. It’s impossible, they said, to get replacement parts from Westinghouse. One suggested I try replacing the battery: part # 504896. I tried, but replacements are not available: not from Westinghouse, Amazon, eBay, Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Batteries Plus, Interstate Batteries, UPS Battery Center or Battery Clerk. Bottom line: do not buy a generator from Westinghouse.

Bought a generator in Canada. It worked, but the starting mechanism never worked properly. Westinghouse sent me to a Canadian comapny for warranty. It is now 6 weeks into the interchange and they have done nothing. Continually ask for more information, don't answer the messages... frustrating. Westinghouse in US tells me that in order to get warranty, I need to get a US address, they will send parts and I can forward it to Canada. They won't fix it, just send parts

Bought a Westinghouse generator in June, got it home was running rough and the rope to start wasn't working right. Called the warranty dept, filled out what was needed so i can get my brand new generator working right. Took to a shop in June, Westinghouse is horrible letting you know what is going on. After two months I got the generator back but I had to pay for the labor when it was not working from the start. I will never buy Westinghouse products every again. Horrible company.

I purchases from Westinghouse the 27" Curved FHD Gaming Monitor in White Model Number: WC27GX6230W
This monitor is absolutely Beautiful and the white goes great with my pic tower, the computer has 165 hz which is perfect I am not all in ok 4k or OLED yet sp for the price and quality I will be purchasing a second monitor from them thos exact model. I paid after taxes $180 well worth the investment especially for the picture quality for both consoles and pc gaming.
