My access storage unit
From contacting access to book the storage space to moving in was incredible . The staff team were very supportive, kind and professional. I was welcomed on the day by a lovely gentleman. I travelled two and a half hours on the day and, I was offered a drink on arrival. I had time to breath. I was shown the unit before signing the contract. I found the place very clean, airing, and secure was tight. I was told anytime I visit the unit I would use a different code to my unit. there is one thing I like most of all is that I am able to drive into the storage unit car park and don't have to worry about parking on the street. How awesome. Well done access

I received a competitive quote when searching for storage space locally. The communication with the Access Self Storage staff was very positive, they explained all details and were happy to answered all questions, for peace of mind. When decided to book the storage the registration process was easy, and we were given a mini tour of the place when moved our stuff in. Again the staff were friendly and helpful. We received a generous space for the price paid, which was lower than other self storage spaces locally. We would recommend this business.

I was looking to store some furniture during a house move I wasn’t sure of the dates the staff were really helpful and accommodating when I had to change I was shown the different units before I made my mind up I would use these guys again

Ive had a storage unit in Erdington…
Ive had a storage unit in Erdington since September 2025. Originally I was given a 6 month discount to price match and offer made elsewhere, however the manager had charged me the full price instead of the agreed discount, so he extended my discount period which should have covered me until June 2026. This was confirmed via email.
I received an email in February to advise me that the full price will be going up in March, so I went into the unit to confirm with the manager, who advised me they would not be able to honor the agreed extension of June.
I explained in that case then I would be due a partial refund of 1 month as he had overcharged me in the original 6 month period and I agreed not to refund, based on the extension period alone.
After some back and forth he advised he would be able to extend it until April, and then the unit would be charged full price from May.
Today I have noticed that I have been charged the full amount instead of the still promised discounted amount.
The majority of the staff are really lovely, unfortunately the manager Dean does not seem competent and doesn't keep agreements that he has made. Most the time he doesn't actually seem aware of what hes actually agreed to. Definitely don't think the manager is as professional as he should be, which lets this unit down.

We are very sorry for the confusion and frustration this has caused. We understand how important it is that agreed prices are honoured and applied correctly.
When you first signed up, the manager was still new in the role and unfortunately some administrative errors occurred while processes were still being settled. The confusion seems to have happened when you received a rent increase email and there was a misunderstanding about how this affected your extended discount.
Because your agreement was a unique arrangement, the discount needed to be manually reapplied, and this was missed. We can confirm that the refund you are owed is now being processed.
We have since put measures in place to make sure manual discount extensions are properly tracked so this does not happen again.
We are sorry again for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

I had a very positive experience with Access Self Storage Battersea. From the initial enquiry through to move-in, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
Angela, David and Julian were all absolute stars — always friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything worked seamlessly. They took the time to answer questions, explain the options clearly and made the whole process very straightforward.
The facility itself is clean, well organised and feels very secure, with strong access control and 24/7 security monitoring, which gave great peace of mind when storing my belongings.
Overall, a very professional operation with an excellent team. I would highly recommend Access Self Storage Battersea to anyone looking for reliable storage and great customer service.

Excellent Customer Service mindset with a better deal.
The team called me straight after the initial online quote, and so did the nearest competitor. On the plus side, I was able to visit the room 15min after the competitor closed, so more flexible. On top of a better deal, the manager upgraded me to a bigger storage, so really impressed with that. When moving in, he also extended the hours so we could finish that evening, that is really nice service minded too. There has been a small admin error that ended to be corrected in an extra month discounted! Again nice touch! One tiny drawback is the hours of access, it is less extended than the competitor, but overall, Access is well head and shoulders above.
