I ordered cumaru deck tile in two sizes, 20X20 to top a cement slab, and 24X24 to top our front deck. I also ordered cumaru 5/4 dimensional lumber at various lengths to trim the front deck. My order came in two deliveries and was delivered on time and in great shape. I am very impressed with the deck tile and trim wood. The look of cumaru when oiled with the Ipe oil is out of this world gorgeous. I also used the Advantage Lumber rail system with large rail cap. The rail system is quite attractive.
I had comparison shopped Advantage Lumber against using a leading composite decking and saved a lot with the Advantage Lumber cumaru. We are very pleased with the outcomes of our projects using Advantage Lumber materials.

Purchasing Ipe wood through Advantage Lumber is a straight forward event. You select how much wood you need, you pay for it, and 3 to 4 days later the truck is at your door. The wood is of very high quality, very few blemishes and best of all, very good prices for the quality it offers. There’s some initial confusion because the order can go to a distribution center that might not have what you want in stock, they’ll let you know about it but do not offer the option of looking for it at another distribution center. You then need to call and they’ll be helpful in securing your order. I’ve already finished a 789 sq ft ipe on-grade deck, and I’m about to star a 782 sq ft front porch with ipe columns, floor and roof, and
I’ll buy what wood I need through Advantage Lumber.

Timely, professional hardwood provider. True lumber with minimal defects

My sales rep was informative, patient and went out of her way to answer any and all questions. The quality of the wood was just as good or better than what all of my local lumber yards offered and it was 15-30% cheaper.

I have 2 more decking sections to complete, I'll be returning to advantage lumber for my future purchases.

Ordered deck refinishing products and they were delivered quickly and worked very well.
Somewhere on your website you should mention that a deck of Advantage lumber ( cumaru, garape, ipe, whatever) if left untended for several years - 3 or 4 at a minimum - will probably need a sanding after cleaner and brightener are applied.

The product was good and shipped in time. Sales staff was pretty good but seemed a bit annoyed or busy perhaps.

Very helpful and professional people throughout this whole transaction from the minute we called to get information until we were done installing the product, very knowledgeable about their product and timelines and everything they talked about.

I thought this was going to be a good experience. They shipped my order too early, and then had it sit in a warehouse in Jacksonville for over 6 weeks. When they finally shipped it to my house, my installer said it was dry, warped, discolored, and in such bad shape he would not accept the delivery. It was sent back to Advantage and they charged me 7000 dollars for shipping and restocking. I am disputing this amount with my credit card company, American Express. I would not use them and if you want to call me I will share my experience with you. 305-803-7528.
