Burberry; classic incompetence
I spent £750 online and stuff was due to be delivered on Wednesday. I never received the stuff and , I'm disabled, and was told to go 2 miles from my home to UPS drop off point to pick up item.
I phoned Buttberry's Kate, she was so officialous and pedantic and did nothing but bully me on the phone with her tone of voice.
They plan to deliver on Friday.
I won't be purchasing anything from them again.
Update: they delivered first thing Friday morning.
Colis déclaré endommagé et vide, aucun remboursement, service client incompétent
Début septembre 2025, j’ai commandé une paire de baskets Burberry, après avoir appelé le service client pour obtenir des conseils sur la pointure. On m’a assuré que la chaussure chaussait “comme une paire normale”. J’ai donc commandé la taille 45.
À la réception, la paire était beaucoup trop grande. J’ai contacté le service client qui m’a conseillé de prendre une taille en dessous et m’a envoyé l’étiquette de retour UPS. J’ai renvoyé le colis comme demandé, avec le transporteur fourni. Le suivi UPS indique que le colis a bien été livré à l’adresse de Burberry.
Cependant, lorsque j’ai demandé le remboursement, Burberry m’a répondu qu’ils avaient reçu le colis “endommagé et vide” et qu’une enquête était ouverte. On m’a demandé d’attendre 21 jours pour obtenir une réponse. Passé ce délai, on m’a demandé d’attendre encore 10 jours. Depuis, cela fait plus d’un mois et demi, et je n’ai toujours pas été remboursé.
Pire encore, le service client m’a demandé de ne plus les contacter, en m’indiquant que ma banque aurait fait opposition, ce qui est totalement faux puisque j’ai réglé l’achat via Klarna. Je trouve cette attitude très décevante et irrespectueuse envers un client qui a simplement suivi leurs instructions.
Aujourd’hui, je me retrouve sans remboursement, sans réponse claire, et profondément déçu par l’image de la marque Burberry, que j’appréciais beaucoup. J’espère que mon expérience servira à d’autres : gardez toutes vos preuves (suivi, échanges, paiements), car en cas de problème, le service client semble totalement dépassé.
Threads come off on M- Jersey wear
I have recently bought a couple of T-shirts at Burberry in Bicester village, they are so elegant and look highly qualitative.
Unfortunately the threads are coming off randomly at different spots after only wearing it for once and I didn't even strike it to any nails or metal surfaces. I have been to the Bicester shop and explained the situation to the manager and they have exchanged it, but said that they are going to do it only as a one off gesture.
Now, I have encountered the same issue on my other T-shirt too, and I am afraid of going to the shop as I was told that they wouldn't honour it again. I have seen that the same issue has been noticed by another customer on google review.

It sends products using UPS and requires signature upon delivery. However I was told on three different occasions the item will arrive and required a human being to sign for. Needless to say it cost and wasted me three working days just to wait for the untrustworthy retailer to send through the product. Customer service says oh sorry we can only refund when you receive your product. Ridiculous, I have yet to receive any till now. Be warned Burberry may sound a little bit upper but seems to me like a con Temu supplier.
Be Wary When Ordering Any Item From Burberry
I ordered a beautiful 90x90cm silk scarf. Wore it for the first time and LOVED it, until it came to me performing a regular daily task of running to the car whilst slightly raining outside and the amount of watermarks that have appeared are ridiculous and very obvious. Naturally I got in touch with the customer service team, expecting a refund or replacement but no, all they could offer was taking it to a specialist dry cleaners.
- There was nothing on the product page stating that it is not suitable for outdoor use
- It seems that their latest campaign 'Always Burberry Weather' may not be as true as they advertise!!!
Poor Custom Service Poor Product Testing
So some trainer less than 3 months old have leaked the under colour onto the front white part. Absolutely a design fault and Burberry do nothing! Say go back to where I purchased them. No Burberry trainer should not bleed colour in the rain that’s your product design teams fault and you should help your customers. Horrified given what you pay for Burberry items.

AVOID - Burberry Clothing
I purchased a Burberry Puffer Jacket along with a Burberry MAC. I absolutely loved them both. Until......the Burberry MAC torn after 4 weeks of wearing it less than 5 times, so I had to return this to the store and choose a replacement and the button cover came off my puffer jacket and when I approached Burberry to repair this, they were unwilling and unable to do this. I would never purchase their clothing again. So disappointed. If I had been a celebrity, I feel that they would have done everything to assist me. Under the CRA 2015, s9,s10 and s11 - the items were not of satisfactory quality, were not fit for purpose and did not meet the description expected.

Not only is the quality of the bag terrible, given the 'leather/canvas' has torn on each handle as it attaches the bag. Burberry will not do anything about it. They do not offer the same guarantee or indeed service as other similar luxury brands. Stay away, my Chanel bag has given no problems!

If I could leave 0 I would ! I spent £1422 on a pair of boots and bag I have other purchases coats trainers t shirts etc however I puchased these boots wore them 6 maybe 7 times still in box and dust bags still perfect condition however the buckle has snapped . I went back to Flannels with mt Burberry boots and had copy off my bank statement but was told because THEY could not find it on their system although its clearly on mine they wouldnt do any thing. Apparently the law has changed a store does not have to replace faulty goods without a receipt my receipt was my bank statement! The girl in the store contacted customer service who said they couldnt find it I contacted them they said they only del with online orders so I asked why did the store contact you then ? And if you only deal with online who deals with store issues ??? All very confusing on the whole not the best experience myself and husband and family spend a lot in Flannels first time we had an issue they do however say you only find out how good a retales is when you have to contact their customer service with an issue ! REGARDS A VERY UN HAPPY CUSTOMER WITH A PAIR OFF FAULTY BURBERRY BOOTS IN THE BOX IN MY WARDROBE ! THANKS FLANNELS AND BURBERRY!

Buy from Harrods instead
After sales are very polite but inefficient. Their website stated that the coat had a storm guard to protect from rain but it turned out that it was an error and infact it was just a storm shield which meant that the water just glides off the hood without dripping onto the coat. Anyway I took the tag off so couldn’t send it back to exchange for a different model. Given that it’s a “luxury” brand their post service is down in the dumps. They’re just robotic people with scripts read from a screen. You’re better off ordering the same thing from Harrods or Selfridge and you’ll get much better service where they’ll appreciate your business. They’re trained much better in those stores.
Disgusting service
Brought a £390 scarf. Received an empty box with no scarf. I immediately sent photos and informed Burberry who said they will investigate and could take up to 4 weeks.
After 2 weeks I called several tomes and said I wanted a refund as I do not expect to pay for goods that I have not received.
I was told on multiple occasions that a manager would call me back which they did not. I spoke to one member of the customer service team in London and I asked for the name of the general manager and was told it was Kate, I asked the staff member to spell the surname and she refused and then hung up the phone on me.
For a so called good company, the service is appalling and this staff member is rude to hang the phone up on a customer.
Thankfully I have now received a refund from PayPal who said they did not receive any response from Burberry. This does not surprise me. You need to seriously address your customer service issues it is a disgrace

Had a terrible experience placed an order for 2 items both unsuitable returned them both back but only received a refund for the one item, i rang several times to chase it up but the customer service were very rude i requested for management to intervene and requested a call back but I had no joy instead i got refused my refund although the tracking confirmed it was delivered back to them. Very disappointed

It transpired that this was the correct fit anyway so no harm done. If it hadn’t fit, then I’d have had to return and exchange to get what was placed on the amended order. I suppose these things can easily happen when an order is amended last minute.
A friend had a genuine Coat
A friend had a genuine Coat, the dry cleaner lost the belts, so I contacted Burberry and they refused to supply replacements, even though I provided the images, labels and all the photographs, I wasn’t expecting them to it for free, they said they would only do it if I provided a receipt who keeps a receipt for something over 5 years old, how ridiculous, For this reason I would never recommend to buy one of their products in the future

Very disappointed by the customer service today from Millie, in respect of trying to resolve an issue with order 8124540 damaged in transit by UPS. Apparently, I can only expect to receive a replacement when the UPS claims process ends. According to UPS, that could take up to 3 weeks. As this issue is not of my making, it would be reasonable for you to send a replacement order out. #the computer says no. 💩
