Dovehouse Lodge, Hitchin
I love living here, it’s a great place to live. Our Lodge Manager, Linda, is amazing and takes great care of all of us and the Lodge too. She’s got time for everyone and nothing is too much trouble for her. There’s lots going on and we all have a good time. I wish I’d made the move sooner.

This is a review of Arlington Lodge, Arlington Avenue, Leamington Spa CV 32 5BF
We have recently had our account meetings for the budget for 2026/2027. And they already competitive service charges have been reduced! Paul King, our area manager has visited us on a regular basis over the last year and has been supportive and constructive. This has been very much appreciated. He, and the lodge manager Jeanette., have worked hard to ensure competitive tendering which has insured the reduction in our service charges. Paul King also answers emails promptly and lets us know well in advance when he is visiting and asks us for any questions that we may have. It’s also a very friendly and active lodge. The garden is lovely. C

We live in Scotland, so it was a long distance to Weymouth.
Convenience to stay in the guest flat was great.
Car parking on the marked places in the front of the building was good too, as we had suitcases and other items for the resident we were visiting.

Guest Suite
I asked Karen of the sales team when she told it was next to Guest Room if it was sound proof, she it was very sound proofed.
I have lived here 4 years now, for quite sometime now
People have got noisier and PERSONAL RELATIONS.
Very embarrassing ! I have tried all channels but to no avail.

As a contract app always an amazing place to come down and work the house manager is very friendly and always offers a nice cup of coffee also the residents seemed very happy now here definitely recommend visiting hey of course yet I tell you what do you want to get in the car right and for you so if you get in the car yep yeah it's yeah brilliant problem no always a play I know it is it's like one of those things in here that's all right there you go (fiztfordlodge)

The manager, Isabel Silva was very easy to chat with, very welcoming and made sure all was well during our stay. The accommodation was very clean and well kept. A most enjoyable stay. Great position in Bishops Stortford

I have stayed in The Guest Room at Fairbanks Lodge, Borehamwood, on a number of occasions.
Nicki Shepherd, Lodge Manager, consistently goes above & beyond to ensure my needs are met as a visitor. She’s also an amazing support to our family, with her unfailing commitment to our Mother’s welfare.

I was recently shown around St Mary’s Lodge, Birchington by the Manager Fiona who was warm, welcoming and so very helpful. I was very impressed and will seriously consider the options.

Fern Hill Lodge.
I’ve been living in a Churchill Lodge Apt at Fern Hill Lodge in Farnborough, and I couldn’t be happier. As a single person, I’ve found it incredibly homely and welcoming - it truly feels like my own space.

The support here is excellent, especially from the Lodge Manager Jackie, who is always helpful, approachable and genuinely cares about residents. It makes such a difference knowing there’s someone there when you need them.

I highly recommend Fern Hill Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-supported place to live.

Mountbatten Lodge.
My Mum in law has lived here for a couple of years and we think the Lodge is lovely.
The communal areas are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
There are frequent events going on, from fish and chips lunches, to Easter teas and exercise classes.
The Lodge manager, Lisa is very friendly and helpful, always having a cheery greeting and time to ask after us.
She recently advised us about some benefits that we did not know about, for which we were able to claim.
Lisa has in the past looked in on MiL each morning to check in on her before carers were arranged.
We feel supported by Lisa and it's a comfort to know that she is looking after everybody's best interests with a happy smile.

My mother in law moved into Mitton Lodge last October and it has not been an easy move for the family with her health conmplications.
We as a family are indebted to Janet Grimes, Manager at Mitton Lodge for showing empathy, compassion and care in her assistance with this move. Jan goes above and beyond with the care and understanding she has shown to us as a family and my mother in law. Jan has had to deal with instances in an extremely professional and knowledgeable manner keeping us fully updated with her actions at all times via telephone or email. It has assisted us greatly and we are extremely grateful that Jan Manages this property so thoroughly and is very understanding of what is required of her role. She equally does not exceed boundaries or expect any recognition for all that she delivers, therefore this is the reason that I am taking the time to write this feedback in hope that Jan receives the recognition that she deserves from company management and teams. Well done Jan we would be lost without you!

Thank you Donna, Lodge manager at Sarum Lodge, Salisbury for so kindly making the guest room available to me at such short notice. Everything super clean and comfy as always!

I have been living at Park Rise for around 18 months now, and I continue to be very impressed with the level of services and care provided by the CEM staff.

Stuart the caretaker does a fine job in keeping the place looking lovely, and resolving issues if they arise. He also continues to be a big help to me in other areas as I have reduced mobility.

The manager Maureen is excellent. In addition to keeping the day to day business of the complex running smoothly, she is constantly looking for ways to improve things for residents, both in a practical sense and by organising events to encourage increased social interaction.

She is very much on the residents’ side, and is not afraid to go into battle for us, or rattle cages if need be, in order to get some improvement that she feels is required.

She keeps the local authority on their toes…!

We visit Hadley Lodge regularly and have always found the Manager Helen to be very friendly helpful and efficient. The lodge is always presented beautifully and very welcoming. The residents all seem to be very Happy which says alot !

My father has recently moved into Connecticut Lodge in Hertford. I have now stayed in the guest suite a couple of times. The suite itself is lovely. Beautifully furnished and is to a very high standard. The lodge itself is ideal for my father. It's close to town, the bus station, shops, Drs and dentist. You really couldn't ask for anything more. It's safe and we as a family feel really reassured that our father is living there. Jane, Lodge Manager, has been so helpful and accommodating. She is very approachable and nothing has been too much trouble. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Mandy too, the sales lady, is a breath of fresh air. She has been so kind, patient and helpful - it's been a pleasure from the first initial phone call to moving in day. Jane has settled my father in very well with her cheerful, friendly and happy matter. In fact all the team have been really lovely.

Churchill living gives me the security I need, independent living with support when needed

I’m a musical performer who has been lucky enough to have performed at probably 10 Churchill Lodge properties in the last 4 years!
My latest was at Grace Lodge in Thornbury and it was a brilliant audience who sang along to every song!
Tracy Downham is the Lodge Manager and she arranged tea and cakes as part of the afternoon which enabled everyone to chat after the show!
An excellent afternoon for me and I’m sure it was for the owners!

Excellent service received from both lodge manages at Eleanor lodge. Always friendly and willing to help and go the extra mile for the residents and family.

Fitzford lodge in Tavistock is very well run, the house manager is very polite and the standard of the lodge is high.

I have visited the eddington Lodge on several regular occasions to clean for the owners of some of the apartment. I always have a very warm welcome and any queries I have are dealt with in a informative way. The owners I interact with are always commenting on how hard the manager (Pamela) works and how well looked after they are at eddington. It seems a very pleasant environment and is run very well, with lots of events on and a good community feels throughout. Always look forward to my visits at the lodge.
