I am so grateful to John Charcol and the hard work of Eric Appolloden and Fiona Allan for achieving what other people told us was impossible! They managed to find us a mortgage in a very complicated situation and went above and beyond in their time and care to help us achieve our dream.

Molly was absolutely amazing as our mortgage advisor from start to finish. She made the whole process clear, stress-free, and far easier than we expected. Molly was always available to answer questions, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and kept us updated every step of the way.

Use another broker. John Charcol were dodgy in my experience.

Doped me as a customer for no reason just as my offer was accepted. Withdrew mortgage offer which also affected my credit score. NO REASONS GIVEN.

The recommended a conveyancer with was later suspended by SRA. So also got screwed with that. Nice one JC. Cheers for the stress, damage to credit score and now out of pocket as I had to get another solicitor to sort out the issues.

XYZ Law also tried to charge me for services already paid for.

The "Partner" at JC was a decent bloke, but they gave no shits about the customer. Just another number. Don't give your business to these kind of companies. I ended up with an independent broker which I found to be my saviour.

I wanted to leave a review for the excellent service I received from John Charcol when arranging my mortgage. Although my mortgage was completed back in October last year, I’ve been meaning to share my feedback as the experience was genuinely outstanding.
