When I wrote the previous review, it was at a time when there seemed to be a mixup possibly due to my change of email address. Since then, although the original still seems to have disappeared en route, the company has sent a replacement which my daughter is delighted with. I realise in these difficult times things aren’t operating normally, but once the company and I were able to establish contact, they were very good at responding and fulfilling the order.

Love this store. I have ordered about 18 box sets so far and never had a problem. Always quick to reply to emails and friendly staff. Can’t rate them enough. Thanks

Arrived in good condition

Ordered 5 box sets for Christmas and got them within a few days. Was very pleased. Website is easy to use and customer support always super fast... can’t rate them enough.

Super fast delivery, quality goods, at the lowest price around.. I just bought the complete Carry On box set and am loving these classic films.

I first found this site about 12 years ago and have been a customer since. They have some great titles and just looking through the website reminds you of so many great tv series... they have always delivered my items very quickly.

Items arrived within 3 days as stated and am currently enjoying a trip down memory lane. Really pleased thanks!

I have been dealing with Phil now for a couple of years and could not be more satisfied. When he did not have what I ordered I was immediately offered a refund. Great communication and extremely helpful. I would recommend this company to everyone and they also have a great selection of DVD's. Definitely a pleasure to deal with Phil.

Have used Classic Movie Store for years. I live in France, and apart from my first order, that was sent by courier, who could not find my address, the service has bee great. Now items are sent via Royal Mail and take approximately one week to arrive. Would recommend to anyone.

Still waiting for the item I ordered on 12th December. Their customer service is dreadful. I would never use them again

Received a refund immediately this was published and asked to finad an alternative supplier

Ordered from these people on 6th December through Paypal. No communication from them whatsoever regarding order confirmation or dispatch. Have tried phoning then a message through website contact page then two following telephone calls. Left messages as phone not answered. No return calls, replies to messages or emails. Today is now 18th December and still waiting for either my items or some for of communication. Extremely poor customer service or maybe should say lack of customer service. I shall give to close of business today then contact Paypal to arrange refund from these people. Obviously cannot be trusted to fulfill your orders so why bother using them as it only creates problems for the customer.

I have received this one in my 'inbox' not my 'spam' folder. I check inbox and spam folders several times a day especially when I am waiting for communications.

I beg to differ that any emails have been sent as I have not received anything from you with exception of this email. Funny how you respond to my email when you totally ignored my message through your web site and both messages left on your answerphone / voicemail. This is the first communication I have ever received from your company and you will not get the chance to 'not send me any more' because I shall never use your company ever again.

I have always been told, 'you only get one chance to make a first impression'. You have had your chance!

I got the consignement rather late, although not through a fault by the Company. It seems to be an error, caused by the various links of carriers, owing to the different styles of address used in Denmark and the UK.

my order was placed 22/09/19 i waited well over the delivery time given no dvds,contacted them take 3-4 days to reply stating it was sent and that i should contact royal mail they didn't have it so yet another delay then they said they will replace it again it took longer than told so i emailed them to cancel the order then they reply saying id asked for a replacement yet not read the email to say id cancelled the order,eventually got the dvds but i refused delivery so they got sent back its now 28/10/19 still no refund, maybe paypal can sort this out.the one star is because its deserved .I EMAILED YOU ON THE 26/10/19 . NO REPLY, 2/11/19 still claim they haven't received the parcel after 3 weeks.

Dire customer service I ordered the box set of "Get Some in" on the 16th of August. The money was taken from my credit card that day but the DVDs are still not with me. Avoid them they may be cheaper but the trade off in dilatory customer service is NOT worth it.

I have now received the DVD I
ordered. Phil of Classic Movie Store contacted me and has resolved the situation following my review here.
In light of his action I have upped my rating from 1 to 3 stars.. I will try them again and if that goes well I will again increase my rating.
I am prepared to accept that mistakes can be made

2nd time using them and a smooth transaction. 5 stars for Classic Movie Store but 6 stars for Only Fools and Horses. If only the BBC had kept anywhere near this standard of programming, nowadays they are just fake news ripping off the old aged pentioners.

My Department S box set arrived on time & CMS price was the cheapest on the net, what more can you ask for. Great service - Ross

It is always a pleasure to get a Classic Movies catalogue, as it brings back memories of old films and programmes that I had forgotten for the moment, and a chance to renew one's acquaintance. That is not to say that there is a lack of more modern works, and thus an ability to catch up with some of those more contemporary themes. Well done.

CMS customer for 3 or 4 years. Good selection,good prices

I have been using this company now for several years and I thoroughly recommend them on two counts:

Interesting range of DVD collections, especially of 'hard to find' series from the 60s and 70s;

Good value, with special offers on a frequent basis - often too good for me to resist !

In addition, I have found their delivery to speedy and they also responded quickly if I have raised queries about their products.

Overall, definitely recommended.
