Just received my Sweeney set.. can’t wait to get watching it... this was my first order here after seeing the good reviews and it turned up within 3 days really well packaged in a card box so really can’t fault the service.

Brilliant brilliant very pleased... ordered something last minute for a present and it turned up within a few days... really pleased with my purchase and the price... will shop here again.

I have been a customer of classic movie store for some time now, ok the post can sometimes be slow, but for the most the quality of this online store is very good in my opinion, I have refound many of my favourite classic TV shows., the only fault I can find with this company is each time I find a classic TV show like Never the Twain its sold out and there's never any new stocks. They do sell many hard too find TV series and this makes up for any shortcomings the store may have and in the end that's all that matters.

Excellent transaction on all my orders so far. Some great value items genuinely cheaper than more mainstream outlets some less so.

This is an update of a previous review as previously no items received, despite promises. Now received I'm delighted to say! Just a shame it took such an effort else could have given more stars

Update !! Finally received email since posting on here yet never received any response to any of my emails or Facebook messages . My item was paid for on the 17th and you openly post on Facebook Wednesday was your final day for guaranteed Christmas delivery , the tracking number you have sent me does not show me anything so does not even confirm that my item was posted when you said it where it is . You have complete ruined my Christmas present for my mum who now has nothing tomorrow . Will never order from you again !!!!

Placed original order and got lost but guys were very helpful in sending a replacement and going over an above to ensure i received before christmas, cant thank the guys enough and would recommend highly to anyone.

I've placed several orders over the years and never had any problem. Just received my Upstairs & Downstairs copy very quickly (overseas ) and in mint condition.

My dvds have now arrived. There was a delay but this was finally sorted out when this firm sent me replacements by next day courier. We go there in the end

I have just ordered Last of the Summer Wine which is my 40th order from Classicmoviestore. I started using this site back when it first opened in 2007 and have never looked back. All the orders have always been delivered very quickly and packed well and I cannot fault them. They have such a wide range, and some superb sales where you can get loads of the best box sets much cheaper than anywhere else. I am just waiting for the Doctor Who sets to be on a promotion. For sure I will be ordering here for Christmas, as I often give these as presents to my family. Only problem is it is an easy way to spend lots of money.

To sum up, great support, great packing and delivery and the lowest prices. Thanks again.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING LOOKS GOOD BUT IS IT?

On Friday 12th October 2018 I ordered 8 DVD Box sets costing £229.27. As I didn't receive an email to confirm dispatch, I sent a request for information. The reply said that they were being dispatched on Wednesday 17th October 2018. First, they failed to follow the information on their website regarding posting "same day or next day", in that you actually posted 6 days after date of order. On Tuesday 23rd October 2018 I sent a 2nd email to say my order had not been received and later that same day, received a reply saying "sorry and replacements will be sent out". I found this most strange as I would have wanted to asertain what had happened to the original dispatch! All this belies the information given on the website. Needless to say, neither the original order or replacement order have to date been received. The 21 digit tracking number does not help at all as it only works upon receipt/delivery. I have looked at Trustpilot reviews for this company and was concerned at the number of similar stories to mine. I wonder if they do in fact hold all the stock they maintain? This apart, I have wasted 8 days waiting in for not only the original order but the replacement. I also wonder how many complaints have "gone under the radar" as could not be bothered to leave formal reviews. I would have been happy to pay extra for a decent tracking method but there is no option for this. On Thursday 25th October 2018, I sent yet another email strongly outlining my concerns but they did not see fit to reply. Needless to say, I will NOT be using them again!
Hooray, at last! After 18 days my order finally arrived in 2 separate parcels. I only wanted them to be honest and upfront with me if there were issues obtaining the DVDs, although, according to the website they were in stock!!! No serious apology received and so I shall shop elsewhere in future.

Ordered 2 box sets which failed to arrive, although advised of despatch.
I waited 2 weeks before reporting non delivery. I received a very quick reply that a replacement would be sent.
The replacement arrived 5 days later, which seems reasonable.
I have no complaints about this company, as they dealt with the issue in a satisfactory manner.

Good price, prompt, no problems.
